On a visit to Milwaukee we had to see the oldest Catholic Church. The building is absolutely beautiful and the people are friendly. We really enjoyed the visit! (We did not attend mass so these pictures were snuck from the back.)

Who could give Old St. Marys anything but 5 stars? Nice diverse parish. From youth to the seniors, nice to see everyone worship together. I live in Pewaukee and decided to join this parish.

As old as Milwaukee, this church with its stained glass windows, lifelike statues, and beautiful decor is unlike any church youve seen. Historical and religious setting.

Mass is beautiful here. A warm and welcoming family parish. One of Milwaukees architectural gems!

Old Saint Mary’s is a Catholic church in downtown Milwaukee. It was built in 1847 by German immigrants. Originally the church services were held on the first floor and a school was established in the basement. Today the school is adjacent to the building. This building and church are still active. Parking can be a problem depending on the time and day (this is in downtown).

A rare treat for old school Catholicism.
