Great place to play Pokemon go . Four gymns and many spinners! Satisfy your Pokemon tasks either from your car or from walking around the park. It appears to have great playgrounds for the children and baseball fields galore! The tennis area has a nice building with bathrooms . Lets have a weather the bathrooms throughout the park are open during Covid. Its a good use of outdoor space.

New playground good for older kids, well manintained, no shade.I gave it 4 out of 5 stars because its a nice playground facility, but theres no shade, not much for the little kids to play on, and a somewhat dangerous zip line.I brought my 3 year old here and it was fine because hes a great climber, but he was too short/young to access some of the playground elements and got bored quickly. My friend had her 18 month old and it almost wasnt worth her time because he could only climb a couple of things with close supervision. The playground surface is wood chips. There are some benches around the edges of the play area, and a picnic table. There wasnt any shade to sit in at 10am in the summer. The bathrooms were adjacent to the playground.Theres a cool swing/Zipline built into the playground. Which Im sure is a hit with the older kids (8+?) But too fast/high for my little one. It was also a bit dangerous, as the path is not easily noticeable while walking on the playground. If you have kids who are well aware, or parents watching closely, it would be ok. But easy to hit someone/get hit. I accidentally walked into the path a couple of times while chasing after my son. That being said, the tennis courts and baseball friends looked really nice and the roads/parking lots were well maintained and laid out. Im happy we checked it out and maybe well be back in some years when my kiddo is older.

This Park needs to be cleaned up. Trash everywhere. anyone using this playground that is throwing trash everywhere should be ashamed of themselves. Coaches and parents of players need to make their children throw their bubble gum wrappers and water bottle lids into the trash instead of all over the place. We have picked up the trash a few times but its worse than ever today.

Review №28

Courts are in great shape. I have played here a half dozen times over the last 4 years; I live too far away to play there more frequently - it is always an away court for my matches. It is clear they are motivated to engage the youth in racquet sports. I love to see the coaches taking time to teach strategy, sportsmanship and attitude to those guys. Also, Side from the street noise it is very peaceful. My only 2 minor critiques are to add locker rooms - maybe they have them and I missed them, and the bathrooms could be cleaned more frequently. The major complaint would be the biting insects as soon as you get out and away from the office are horrible if you arent on the courts - spectators beware.

Gr
Review №29

The kids love the cool swing, but it can be annoying watching how other peoples kids dont take turns. Also if there isnt a big kid there to help, you as an adult may end up having to help bring the swing up for everyone.

There is a smaller playground all the way around behind the baseball fields. It feels like youre driving to the high school, but keep going around the fields & there is a toddler-kindergarten sized playground. Its not shaded AT ALL, which is unfortunate, but it is nice to have a small playground close by.

Very nice sports/playground park next to Lassiter High School. The large playground you can see from the road is designed for older kids ~8-14 years-old. There are some very aggressive playground items including an 60 foot long swing/slide that can be dangerous, so adult oversight/supervision STRONGLY suggested for that. There are some nice baseball fields and a playground in the back for younger kids. Ample parking. Nice area.

They redid this playground and it is now dangerous for preschool or younger kids. The biggest problem is that it requires kids to walk across open air steps to get to the slides, they are about 10 inches apart and 4ft off the ground. Little kids were not in mind when they designed it.

Suppose to have 4+ stars. Google wont let me fix. The front playground is DANGEROUS for smaller kids, the zipline will knock over young children and will soon harm someone badly! Do not bring your young child to the front playground. Drive to the back. Unfortunately I had 4 kids with me and the young ones I couldnt let play.

This is a very busy park. It has 2 playgrounds. One is way in the back of the park. The other one is at the entrance. I rate it a 3 out of 5 because I feel that the restrooms are the downfall! They dont maintain them as much as they should due to being such a large park.
