My first time visiting this beautiful, historic museum and the architecture alone was worth the trip! The Jim Hill and Chad Cole exhibitions were absolutely beautiful albeit heart wrenching. I will definitely be back in 3 months for new exhibits!!

Lovely, small museum with excellent exhibits. What they lack in quantity they make up for in quality. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, and excited to talk about the artwork and answer questions. I wish the museum could open another of its rooms up as another gallery - there were only two at the time of our (surprisingly quick) visit.

I love this museum!! The staff is amazing! The art is beautiful! The building is so neat and big! They have all types of fun events like Chalktoberfest, wine/beer tasting, Martinis and Music gatherings, Classes, Workshops, Color Wheels, Art Talk lectures, etc. They even have a Harry Potter Themed event where they transform the whole museum to look like Hogwarts.....pretty cool!! Please take the time to come check out this museum.....you will not be disappointed!!! Thanks so much!

Eclectic collection of art... They even have a Warhol. You can see everything in about an hour. Its about a two minute walk from the square.

The Marietta museum of art is in the former Post Office building just south of the town square. Its a small museum, showing two exhibits at a time. The galleries are well laid out, but there is generally not a permanent collection. Its a an easy museum for older kids as youll be in and out in ninety minutes tops and there is no gift shop to distract them.Wheelchair patrons will not have the easiest time negotiating the museum as its an older building. Its possible and there is wheelchair parking, but itll be about the elevators.Lastly, theyve a boardroom on the second floor and there are several turned bowls and work by Wyeth. Thats worth an extra moment or two.

Small but well laid out museum. Very affordable though we had a groupon. Variety of mediums, styles, and subjects so definitely worth wandering through when you have a few minutes. Walking distance to downtown is a bonus but finding parking can be very difficult if theres anything going on (festival, fair, etc.).

We paid for a dual membership for the year. Tonight is our 2nd event and I am still very underwhelmed. $40/person for entrance into the museum for an adults only event to see the museum transformed for Harry Potter. Its cute but not worth the price for a buffet of food that I cannot eat (no vegan options, only vegetarian ones are salty, soupy mac n cheese or veggie tray) and 0 drinks included (counting water). Basically, $$40/person to spend 10 mins walking around looking at arts and crafts decorations.

Had a blast with my family that was visiting from Puerto Rico . We got a chance to meet Carole Pigott’s family, who’s exhibition was on the second floor. Loved it all. Nice for a Sunday afternoon.
