If you ever find yourself in Marietta OH, please take the time to stop and see the people here. They were so helpful and sweet and at $4 admission it really is well worth it. It was lovely to see all of the toys and dolls amywhere from 1880-Now! Loved this experience.

Theres something of interest to satisfy any age group when visiting this beautiful Eastlake/Queen Anne style building housing many beautiful displays of toys, dolls and unique doll houses. It is a must see to appreciate all the museum has to offer. A hidden treasure displaying toys and collections of days gone by. Youll find historical replicas of several local Marietta businesses, miniature doll houses even including a talking dollhouse. The museum has an international doll collection, a circus room filled with circus cars and memorabilia. A beautiful room appointed with a Christmas tree and its own train set circleing the tree. Santa models tucked away in an open closet and buildings showing Santas workshop and home. Youll find winter minature doll houses and beautiful vintage transportation toys. This year, and on loan to the museum, is a collection of Johnny West memoriabilia western display manufactored by Marx Toy Co., a display featuring dinky toys, and a large display of Shirley Temple dolls . If youre in need of information, the museum has a library available for guests to browse through books and magazines to help you do research. Just so you know, I found myself returning to the museum as a guest and at times with family members in tow. Now, I have become more invested in the museum by becoming a volunteer. I love meeting guests and getting the opportunity to share what I love about the museum and I invite you to come for a visit to Childrens Toy and Doll Museum of Marietta, Ohio.
