Sandy Springs Baseball! They have 5 fields, batting cages, bathrooms, and there is a small playground here. Great spot for playing catch with the kiddos. You can follow Sandy Springs Baseball on twitter to get updated on field closures.
Went to watch a kids game here. Nice local park had a creek next to it that kids were playing in.
Best looking park in the county! So well maintained. And the guy who maintains it really cares!
My opinion of this park is very bias. It is in my backyard, my kids played ball for Sandy Plains Baseball here, I served on the SPBA board as field director here, and my family plays here and we walk our dog here. Great park!
Well mainteined. Great place to work out
There are trails around the dog park and there are a couple of small waterfalls.
Four fields and a playground for the tykes. Concessions and a bathroom. Pretty standard. Needs a bit better drainage so there isnt mud everywhere
Love the dog park. Just wanted to mention that poison ivy is growing in along the fence.
Needs better signs.
Primarily for little league baseball, but they do have a excellent dog park.
My dog, Rex loves this place! Well kept.
There is a fairly short but steep walking trail that is good exercise. There are four tennis courts that are uphill from the farthest corner of the parking lot. There is also a water-fill station and bathrooms, but they are at the opposite corner of the park from the tennis courts in the clubhouse in the middle of the ball fields.
We love this place!!! I bring my 4-month old puppy here now more and more often. This is a great place as it has two separated areas (both has enough shade) one for smaller dogs, and one for bigger ones. They can still see each other and interact, but they cant hurt each other. The poopy bag dispenser is always filled up, there are more than enough tennis balls you can use with your dog, as well as plenty of benches so you can relax while your pup is having fun. I only wish there were more times when small dogs come to this park, as the big dog area is normally busy, but not the small one, and it is hard for my little pouch to socialize when there are no pals. The only comment I would add which tends more to the negative side is that there is no restroom for doggie parents :/ so youll stay as long as your bladder can tolerate.
Very limited parking...if visiting for a baseball tournament...prepare yourself that there is parking only for about 15% of people in attendance. Bring your most patient self!
Not a fan they put alot of money in redoing the baseball fields and they look great but there is just no room. If each field is being used for games its cramped. There is also no real good places to view your child playing. This park is for the younger age group. Maybe shrink the dugouts some which will open up the walkways and also provide more room for fan seating and watching.
Really love using the hiking and dog trails which fwuire all dogs be leashed... Trails are beautiful and wooded, with a branch of Rube creek running through it. There are also fenced in areas for small dogs and separate one for large dogs where your dogs can run without being leased.
Great place for baseball. Good dog park. I havent walked or ran the trails except to go from the dog park to the baseball fields, but they look nice.
We were there for grand sons baseball. Very nice park
A sweet little gem. Dog park, baseball fields and clean bathroom.
I only used the dog park here. Well maintained. There are lot of shades so it is very comfortable when the weather is warm. There are always a lot of people/dogs. People are very friendly and dogs are mostly great.
Visited the dog parks and a couple of the trails. Well kept park, great large space for dogs, a couple short trails and plenty of parking. A nice gem tucked away in a county not known for its parks.
I mainly go here for the dog park. There are two nice-sized fenced in areas; one for big dogs and one for small dogs. Its never been too crowded when Ive gone. There are a couple of small trails around the area too.
Excellent dog park. Plenty of room for them to run and play. Very shaded for summer time. Two sections, one for small dogs and one for bigger ones.
Busy park with ball fields, tennis courts, dirt walking trails, dog park, and parking. Nice well maintained dog park that has 2 areas to separate dogs by size. The large dog area is large with plenty of trees for shade, some benches and picnic tables for the humans and a water fountain. The small dog area is also sizeable and well maintained with trees for shade and a table. Both dog areas have mulch and dirt surfaces, no grass (that I recall). Dog owners were friendly and the large dog area seems to be a popular place. The trash cans at the entrance to the dog park area attract bees so watch for them.
Great wooded area for dogs to roam and play. Handlers that I have met are sensible and friendly. There is definitely a more popular time to go which is right after work. It usually empties out by 7:45 in the summer. Unsure of what owners do in the winter when it gets dark early as there are no lights.
Our fa.ily went there to eat hot dogs and french fries for dinner, but they daid that nothing was working to make hot food. They told us the same thing last week, so I ordered nachos and cheese. The nachos were stale! Whats up with that? My family was disappointed and hungry, Last year, the concession stand had the best hot dogs and huge, delicious fre ch fries.
Large area for both small and large dogs. The park has areas for both size dogs fenced off separate from one another. Plenty of benches to sit on. Ample parking as well. There is a walking trail behind the park too. Nice find.
Very clicky here. The people who come sit and talk. They do not pay attention to their dogs. All the dogs will greet you at the gate. Beware... I wont return.
Baseball park, what else can I say, insufficient parking, that needs work. The fields are well maintained, rest rooms are clean and theres ball park food available.
Very spacious and clean dog park, the tennis courts look like they were recently surfaced, in the small hiking trails between the dog park and the tennis court is a lot of fun.
First time coming here. Well maintained fields... Tho I must say they need to work on the parking area
Dog park is nice. The wooded trails are nice. It should be updated there is NO playground here.
Creepy guy named cody hangs out there 4 s3x
Great for a morning walk.
Nice dog park with treed separate areas for big and small dogs
Love the little trails
I bring my dog to the dog park here we both love it
Great place for furry friends! Just hope owners will pick up after their pets.
A nice park with a lot of places for sports, or just walking around.
Nice place...went for my Grandsons baseball game!!
Its quiet and well maintained. The playground is gone after the latest renovations, however.
Small but well built baseball park. Parking is not the best but it works.
New fields and facilities are great, parking could use a similar upgrade.
My dogs love this place. Lots of land to run around in and also there is plenty of shade.
Great place to learn how to play baseball
Great dog park! But the ground can sometimes remain muddy due to the shade available.
Great place for youth baseball
Nice park
Fun place for a nice walk
Nice dog park.
Nice public tennis courts!
Good park
Missing kids ride
Great dog park!
Fun place
Child friendly
Hard to find the tennis court.Hidden behind woods.
The Park does not have a playground although someone put a picture of a playground in the photos
Good place to run the dogs
