Very interesting and the turtles were easily viewed. Nice facility and a very informative guide. The tour group of 20 is too large in this Covid situation. We requested a group of no more than 10 and they arranged it.

Wonderful place to visit and learn all about sea turtles. The staff are all extremely knowledgeable and caring for the turtles in residence. The goal is to return all eligible patients to their ocean home. The hospital also has five permanent, non-releasable residents than can be symbolically adopted. This makes a great present for the turtle lover in your life. I cannot wait to go back and visit.

The tour is very educational and our tour guide was super knowledgable about sea turtles in general, the sea turtle residents at the hospital and everything they do there. The adult tour price is a little high, but totally worth it to know you are supporting such a great cause. I love sea turtles and was so excited to see so many and learn about how they persevere through their traumas with the help.of the hospital staff. Highly recommend for adults and kids alike! Great educational stop in the keys.

Awesome and respectful close encounters with rescued and rehabilitated sea turtles! Fantastic educational tour, thorough presentations, and thought-provoking displays - if you have half a heart and half a brain, youll leave inspired as to how you can help marine wildlife in your everyday life. Please dont support local companies that exploit dolphins, sea lions, whales, etc - come to the real deal and support meaningful and compassionate care of precious sea wildlife.

This place was awesome!! Our tour guide was great too! She was very friendly and listened and answered all our questions. She had tons of information about sea turtles, about how things run at the hospital and how to keep our oceans clean. I loved seeing all the turtles that are being rehabilitated and the ones that are permanent residents. I thought it was strange when they recommended everyone to use reusable waters bottles to keep the oceans clean but when we walked out back to the doorway from the operating room they had about 5 cases of water (Plastic bottles). Have to practice what you preach. Regardless I would definitely come back and recommend this to anyone.

The tour is excellent for learning what the wild turtle population goes through. Learning what we can do individually, to help keep turtles from harm. Seeing the turtles at the hospital is heart breaking but to know theyre receiving the care they need is heart warming. While there you must meet theyre permanent resident turtle by choice. He is proof the care there is top notch. Seeing turtles up close and personal like this. Will give you a better understanding of nature. Its enjoying to interact with the turtles. Theyre friendlier than most humans, imagine that.

I love this place. My only wish is they would expand to Daytona our area bc of the high need for turtle rescue. I would so volunteer. The staff was great, but the tour was Awesome. I wish we had a but more time tho seems like they rush your group in and out in and out not enough Education in the tour to bring awareness to our Sea Turtles. Just my opinion. I was raised in South Florida, but things have changed dramatically. I think a wee but more time with the turtles may give you a lot more supporters.Kim

I would not recommend going on a tour when its hot or very sunny outside. There is very little shade and 90% of the tour is outdoors. We got sunburnt and I was dripping sweat. The cost of the turtle hospital is $25/person and lasts about 1-1.5 hrs. You get a guided tour and learn all about what goes on there. The place does a lot of good for turtles all around Florida. There’s no denying it. But I’m trying to rate it based on the experience itself. The location is very small so realistically there isn’t a ton to see. There are several pools full of rescued and rehabbed turtles. It’s cool to see the process of everything.Overall, it’s a great, educational experience. Kids will enjoy seeing the turtles but could grow bored because the tour has a lot of talking. Adults may enjoy it more. The best part about the place is the actual work they do. As an attraction I would rate it 4/5.
