My family and I came early this morning to the museum. The gentleman greeted us and showed us around this great place. Saw much of America’s history inside, was a really cool experience.

Had a great time learning about the air crafts and fire truck. Now I know the specifics of the hook and ladder. Thank you, Avery, for your service!

This was our rainy day activity. There is a lot of interesting information in the museum. The man who was working when I was there was able to answer every question I asked.

Interesting place definitely worth stopping in. Too bad marathon is getting overrun with dirty hippies. There are still nice things to do here though.

Really a great visit, especially if youre a member of train and plane spotting interest group. Bahamas or mainland hops, flying is a special facet of Key life. The museum is at the Marathon public airfield and has many interesting things to see. And then theres the Key rhythym: watch a small plane go out. Watch a small plane taxi in. Easy to imagine myself a character in a story here. On current display were two kit planes you buy and fly, theres B-52 jet engines, theres vintage props, even things for kids to clamber up and on. Local characters, Free admission. Voluntary donation. Donate!!

This is a small museum that is fun for a family. It is free, but small. We spent about an hour there, and it felt like enough. It is fun if you have some extra time to spend.
