My family and I came early this morning to the museum. The gentleman greeted us and showed us around this great place. Saw much of America’s history inside, was a really cool experience.
Excellent place to learn about flying in the keys, and the EAA. The volunteers are friendly and have a lot of knowledge to share.
Interesting place definitely worth stopping in. Too bad marathon is getting overrun with dirty hippies. There are still nice things to do here though.
Neat place. Very small though.
The 2 gentlemen that run the museum were were super friendly and knowledgeable
Really a great visit, especially if youre a member of train and plane spotting interest group. Bahamas or mainland hops, flying is a special facet of Key life. The museum is at the Marathon public airfield and has many interesting things to see. And then theres the Key rhythym: watch a small plane go out. Watch a small plane taxi in. Easy to imagine myself a character in a story here. On current display were two kit planes you buy and fly, theres B-52 jet engines, theres vintage props, even things for kids to clamber up and on. Local characters, Free admission. Voluntary donation. Donate!!
Great little aircraft museum.Friendly and helpful staff.Well situated next to the main road to Key West.
A very nice free museum. Take the kids for an educational outing g that is free! Small museum and a few airplanes to touch and jump in on. We took our 8 year old but adults have lots to learn there too. The staff was friendly and eager to share knowledge.
The visit was incredible. We were invited to sit in at their meeting and talk. We were given a personal tour. We could have even stayed for lunch.
Anyone with even the slightest interest in flying and the history of flying will love this museum. Its small, but has a great variety of historical items and great guides and four planes to investigate.
Great little place! The gentlemen running it were very kind and knowledgeable. Our young boys had a great time!
This is a small museum that is fun for a family. It is free, but small. We spent about an hour there, and it felt like enough. It is fun if you have some extra time to spend.
Such nice people. Good stories and we even got a lunch invitation

Tiny little place but with some neat photos and memorbilia. As someone who has read or seen just about every resource about the history of the Keys I can get my hands on, I enjoyed this place, they had a couple maps and photographs I hadnt seen.
