This is a good clean place to take the kids. But the restroom needs a upgrade badly, they have old fashioned toilet when I say old fashioned that just what I mean. No running water at all. What are they doing with the money?
A nice place to walk around, but not a swimming area or much more than a boat launch
I enjoy fishing here a lot
Its so relaxing and peaceful, and we caught fish
My husband and I loved to go kayaking there
Its a nice cozy spot, A double lane ramp pretty steep, I see alot of people have trouble putting in. Not a lot of people come here so you can have privacy and swim.
It seems very shallow around most of the bank, and people have trashed it horribly. Never even got a bite.
Restrooms need cleaned up and repaired other than that its a great place to go.
Clean and well managed!
Hello, love this Park, whats not to enjoy...Mother Nature at its finest..
Great place to fish
Great place for catching catfish. Park is usually clean and the other visitors are friendly. I have seen a game warden pass through on occasion.
I love this place. I stopped in for the first time and I caught 5 catfish. Nice size to.
Low cost boat ramp on Joe pool. No waiting
Off-season but looked like a great place. Will revisit this summer.
Pretty quiet park with lots of greenery. I enjoy hanging out here to get some air and clear my thoughts. My dog likes to go take a dip in the water.
Other than a sketchy boat launch, sketchy fishing areas, sketchy bathroom, sketchy parking lot...Britton Park has absolutely NOTHING to offer! This place has been forgotten about and it shows. One of the events I had advertised I need to use restroom before going and that they highly do not recommend going there! Say what?!? But if you are curious...DONT GO ALONE!!!
Cool lil spot to fish but if the water is down, good luck getting a boat around all of the stumps
Not crowded but a lot of trees and stumps in the water so be very careful.
Small, seasonal (March to September), fee-area ($5 per vehicle), boat launch on the far southern end of Lake Joe Pool. Though operated by the City of Grand Prairie Parks Dept., the area is closer to Midlothian and Mansfield than Grand Prairie or Arlington. Two-lane boat ramp, parking area, and restroom--and not much else. Lake levels and brush cover can hinder the launch of boats, but the area is a good place for putting in canoes and kayaks.
Gate was closed, so did not get to go in
Good place to relax
This is a quiet park on the shallow end of the lake. The boat ramp is free and all the jet ski, and obnoxious power boat types usually arent in evidence. This is a great place to put in with a kayak or canoe.
Quiet
The bathroom was an outhouse
Love going fishing here
Nice park!
Not that not nice for $10, a few people fishing but water looked hazy and brown..
Great spot on Joe Pool Lake
The kayaking here is amazing and the guide was super awesome!!
Dont use the boat ramp unless you have 4 wheel drive or you are launching a small boat, extremely steep
Very quite. Banks could have been cut down more for fishing from the bank and the bathrooms were very nasty, enjoyed the park anyway.
Clean and easy to use
Love this place.
Small fishing hole.
Lots of fun
No catch but nice scenery
Its OK. Not like it was when I was younger
Good fishing
You kids get outta my park!! ;)
Its a park
