Really nice path for walking/running or riding bikes. Lots of nice trees to give shade when its hot.
Nice picnic area and walking trails. Restrooms were open
This is a very comfortable park! I had my engagement photos taken here! They turned out beautifully! I only wish my shoes hadn’t fallen apart in the middle of my session bc we would have gotten more done here! The playground is new and the walking trails are very clean. The trash was empty and the grass is taken care of promptly!
Awesome place to walk, run, sprint, jog, power walk whatever you in the mood for!
Bring your bicycle and helmet to this park that connects to the awesome Mansfield Walnut creek linear trail.
I really love this place! This place makes you want to get fit.
Nice trail for walking with lots of shade.
Absolutely gorgeous. And very well kept and not too populated.
Great walking trail
Great paths, wide and cemented. Slow inclines, great for jogging, walking, and biking
A Great small park for family birthdays or picnics. They have a big baseball park close by for playing or practicing with your kids or team. This park also has a walking trail which my kids loved. If your looking to have a party, go on a picnic or spend some time with your kids then this is the place to go.
Nice place
Great place to play softball. Very nice fields and facilities. Very nice playground for the players and non players to play on before, during or after a game. Great concession stand for snacks and drinks. Great seating options. Plenty of bleacher seats and room to bring your own seats to watch the games.
Very nice park
James McKnight is a paved trail. From Broad Street, Mansfield you take the 287 frontage road. There is a large parking lot. As you start walking on the trail, take the first path on the left. The wooded path passes by the river on the right and eventually opens out to Catherine Rose Park. There are seats along the route.
Great walking trail. Scenic shady, and pack full of nature
I love all the parks in Mansfield. the thing that they lack in the Parks is that there is so much debris on the walkways people who skate could get hurt or break an ankle I wish they would clean these up. Also they could use more lighting so runners can feel safer.
Good place to take walks and go biking, thats all.
Beautiful wide open park connected to trails that connect the other parks.
Nice park!! The trees gave us shade and cool breezes.
SAD! Although the facility is nice, we were OBVIOUSLY shorted time on the first game of bracket play. Our girls finally got motivated and were coming back. We were vistors, got our outs, and home plate umpire calls ballgame. 3 and a half minutes on the board clock. After being questioned, umpire said we were going off his clock. That would make sense bc Ive officiated for 15 years and understand but in order for that to work, the time would have had to expire right at the last pitch bc home team was ahead. Otherwise the umpire would have and should have announced time had expired and that would have been ballgame at that point due to home team being ahead. Selfish and sad to take away from the girls and sad for the director to support it. @USAsoftballDFW
Have not been here for sporting events, but there is a good playground for younger kids and paved trails for walks or bike rides. Another great, well maintained Mansfield park.
Wonderful linear trails with lots of shade.
Clean and pet friendly:)
Awesome I like people everywhere. You feel safe. Plus cameras
This is a very good choice and the paved walking path is a great way to to take a beautiful walk!
Nice baseball park. There is a small playground between the fields.
It is awesome it has fun things to do with the kids while your older ones play games
Good city ball park for Fastpitch softball.

A good place to park for the linear walking paths. It leads to Rose Park and then to Town Park. Has curbside handicap parking and picnic tables with grills. There are also 4 tables under a Pavillion roof.

As far as softball fields goes this is one of the best in the area outside of the colleges.
Well maintained, litter free, safe feeling and scenic. Love the trail width .
I love walking my dog here. It is so peaceful.
This is a park with just base ball fields. Great fields, but not a kids playground.
