Due to covid you have to sit spaced from every other ride on the carrousel but it was still fun and worth the wait. And my daughter and I loved the penny press machine.

Took our 3 youngest granddaughters (3yrs, 6yrs, 7yrs old) on Saturday September 19, 2020. My husband and I had masks ready if required. Unfortunately they also required my 6 & 7yr old to wear a mask! Absurd! We were the only patrons in the building and riding the lovely carousel.Conveniently they had many childrens mask to purchase.Such a shame to mar their experience with a political statement of forced masks on children!

What a fun place to visit in Downtown Mansfield! Fun day trip to the Carrousel Park and check out the downtown area. To ride the carrousel is only a $1. The gift shop is really cool. The landscaping is well maintained!

What economical fun for everyone! Indoor for year round enjoyment! October has been extra special because in the evening they had it running backwards! Its also wheelchair accessible! We were actually there for a birthday party and it was really cute, unpretentious and fun for all. Its attached to a gift shop and they also had hotdogs, brats, applesauce pouches, etc for sale to make it a fun and easy dinner/snack option too. The carousel itself is gorgeous with a large variety of animals to choose from, not just horses. Whether youre looking for a weekend treat or a road trip, they are definitely worth checking out!

Very nice place. Such a refreshing spot in downtown Mansfield. There is free parking directly across the street with ready access to all of downtown.

Awesome to see and ride this huge merry go round of these decorated animal seats. Both adults and children were riding. Bring quarters if you park on street for meter, or there is parking across the street. They also have a gift store and restrooms. You can put in a penny in the token machine and leave with a souvenir. Cool

The grandkids ages 2 and 9 really liked the carrousel. It was hard to get the 2 year old away from it. But at a dollar per ride we decided to have some fun but not all afternoon. The building was nice and warm and they passed out a cookie and hot chocolateIt was a good time.

Been here a couple of times for birthday parties for nieces. Nice place and has some history with the local area so it makes it a unique place to visit. Nice gift shop with various souvenirs and whatnot available. Kids, young and not so young, seem to enjoy the carousel. Free parking across the street and restaurants nearby.

Went to my nephews birthday party. There were three other bday parties going. Got a little crowded but my kids still love it. This was their first time at the Carrousel and they had a blast.

Neat recreation of an almost lost art

I just loved the carasoul. Once you purchase your tickets to ride the carasoul and you have remaining tickets they are good forever. There is a nice gift shop. Picnic tables outside. Plenty of parking and is located near the Mansfield City Park that is also a beautiful park and has free parking on Sundays.

We had a birthday party here. Was ok. The place is still open to the public though. And they will have multiple parties at once. The people from the other party let their kids be largely unsupervised and it did cause some disruption for us.

The building and the Carrousel are beautiful! Of course, paying for parking stinks...I took our two daughters and two grandchildren (3 months & 18 months) yesterday and they had a very nice time. My eldest daughter was concerned with how fast the Carrousel was spinning... It actually made her quite dizzy. And it does spin fast enough that I could really feel the wind while standing approximately eight feet away.The scent and availability of popcorn is nice. And it is not expensive at all to ride. I purchased 6 tickets for only $5, which translated to three rides for all four of them (kids under 2 yrs old ride for free).My only real beef is that every employee that I encountered, from the Carrousel Operator to the ladies in the Gift Shop, seemed not to enjoy their jobs at all. The man running the Carrousel never smiled even once and the Cashier in the Gift Shop wasnt extremely familiar with the Inventory and had difficulty answering our (easy) questions about the products.In summary, it is a beautiful place and most kids will have a good time. But, it is not magical like it could be if the Employees were a little more happy, outgoing and motivated.

We love the carrousel and go at least every Christmas to ride with Santa. The volunteers are always wonderful and the Richland Carrousel Park is a treasure!

Very pretty carousel with a nice gift shop attached. Several childrens parties going on when I visited. Parking lot right across the street. Band organ not operating due to parties and cool weather, but during warm weather the building can be opened up and band organ, which is very loud, will then run so I will have to return. Nice little town with nearby places to eat.

Very cute for the littles ones. The 10 year old even enjoyed it a few times. Reasonably priced and a big selection. Some are stationary and some go up and down. There are two sleigh rides that you can sit with very littles with. This is just one huge carousel. They provide rocking chairs for bystanders. The surrounding area is pretty nice as well. Very nice family place. Prices are cheap and affordable. They have a beautiful carrousel with rustic wooden rocking chairs all along the outside for parents and grandparents to watch. This is a great place to take kids of all ages.

This place was a cool little stop on our road trip to knox county. It was a fun road trip for me and my husband it was a little jem in the country. You need to check it out

My children love it here! We have been taking our children here for years! You can reserve for birthday parties also. The shop is a little over priced . Everything looks like it came from walmart lol. But their food/snacks are in fair range. Overall we love it!

Great place for kids to visit for a brief timeframe, in that it is simply a nice carousel. But, there is also a giftshop, and they can host small birthday parties. Also, it is very close to free public parking and downtown.

Its just the one carousel and a gift shop, but its a pretty nice place. Tickets to ride are only 1 dollar and kids seem to enjoy it.

I love this step back into childhood. The carousel makes me feel like I am in the movies evetytime I ride it. The best part is that it is wheelchair accessible so our whole family can ride it together. That does not happen often. At only $1 a ride, it is definitely a fun addition to the day anytime we drive by there.

Been wanting to go to the carrousel for years. The carved animals were amazing. So many different ones. You felt you were almost on an actual horse. It was an amazing place.

Always a favorite for the kiddos in Mansfield. The team does a great job keeping up the facilities and it’s a great price to ride.

Its nice for a quick, cheap something to do with the kids. We were visiting family and we all went to the carousel. Rides are $1 or cheaper depending on how many you buy, and they all had fun. Its a really cool, old, wooden carousel.

This is a great place to bring young children. This place how outstanding staff that is ready to answer any question that you may have. It is also a very safe place to go. And if you feel unsafe, they have a seat on the carousel. I go there a couple times a year, and the staff is always ready to help. So, I would recommend this place to anyone, but especially families.

They have a very nice and varied collection of carved Carousel horses and other menagerie animals. In the price of the of admission is two rides on their fully restored eclectic carousel. It moves faster than the ones at fairs and amusement parks. When i asked about it the explained that the adult ones use to move this fast and the childrens one moved much slower. We were riding on an adult one ;)
