Very nice municipal park. We used the dog park and walked around the rest. Lots of people using the park on a cool late autumn day.

I love this park! I visit almost every day. The main attraction for me is the fenced dog park. There are usually dogs there, and sometimes there are quite a few dogs. It just depends on the time of day. They have nice walking trails as well as a workout trail with instructional boards if you are into working out at a public park. The pool is amazing! It isnt free to get it, but it is free from chlorine. There are two salt water pools. One for the little tikes, and the other for everyone else. The deep end is 13 feet or so, and they have a standard diving board, and a 3m board for those that are crazy or experienced. There is plenty of seating, and they have changing rooms.

Open to the public when there arent any events. Track is in good shape, field is in good shape, and the bleachers are in good shape. Its a great place to go for a well-rounded work out

Great place for my dog to run off leash and with other dogs. Some people dont clean up after their dogs, but it isnt that messy. Most people seem to know one another and be in a clique. I just stay away from them as as much as possible.

A great park to and walk run or even play with your children. They do have a skate ramp as well as walking trails. They school track is there and it is amazing to use! The park is normally always clean and one if the public pools is there in the parking lot.

Great park for walking, running, skating & swimming. Kids playground is tucked away in a corner but has great amenities for all ages. Dog park could use some more attention and the tennis courts should be avoided, but its a great park for everything else.

Its a good park, but really not much more other than when a fair is happening,at which point it becomes so much more! Definitely a place to go to just hang and enjoy nature

Our favorite park to go to

Cico Park has tennis courts, a skate board park, ball fields, a dog walk park, play ground, walking paths, and a swimming pool. Not to mention it is the home of the Riley County Fair and RodeoThe Manhattan High School has their football stadium and track, Bishop Field, on the grounds as well. It is a good place to work out or just relax.

Awesome snow sledding. Just get there before everyone and the sun wears down the snow.

Sledding was 1000x better before the city sculpted the hill made from the fill from digging the pool.

The skate park had two great launch boxes and a perfect 4 foot tall mini ramp

I suggest not taking your children here. The ground is rock. Not exactly the safest but I thought I’d give it a try, because prior to coming I heard it was an OK park. Bad idea! My daughter is almost 2 and after playing there for five minutes today, she fell and hit her head on the rocks. When I picked her up there was blood gushing from her head and I had to take her to the emergency room because of the rock that made a hole in her forehead. She is fine thank goodness but please no one take your children here. Very dangerous!

Great alternative for puppy to get her energy out when while we dont have a fenced yard.

We came for the fair and got lots of junk food. Over all the park was clean and well kept.

Nice Open park to do some outdoor activities at. There is a pool, track and during the winter a nice big hill for sledding. during the summer don’t forget your sunscreen! There are some trees but mostly it’s pretty open.#manhattanks #manhattanksparks #parks

Its ok. A lot of mud and dirt though, so avoid after rain and snow for sure. Lots of pups to play with. It has a water station as well. Lots of parking.

Nice park that offers dog areas, indoor covering, baseball fields, a work out running trail with stops at different body weight equipment. such as a pull up bar. It has a pool and a 4H could area. And plenty of shade and open grass to picnic in on play game.

This is a really nice dog park. No fees or membership required. No rules about spay/neuter (good for our young male). It has one very large yard for all dog sizes. The owners pay attention to their dogs behavior.

My family and I had an amazing time at the rodeo, and when it came time to buying items at the concession stand, I was looking to spend like 10 to 15 bucks. Nope, I ordered 2 popcorn and a tea was 3 dollars total. I am totally pleased with that result.

Lots to see here. A small park, tennis courts and a decent sized skateboard park with many metal ramps for various levels of skating ability, enclosed by a fence. MHS football stadium is housed here, as are the Riley county fairgrounds where the rodeo and carnival located. Potorff hall is also located there, as is Cico pool. There is a running/walking trail that has obstacles every so often, like pull up bars, etc for extra exercise and fun. Softball diamonds are also in this area. A gas station is within a block and MATC is across the street. The north side can be accessed from the stop light at Kimball under the Seth Childs overpass.

Cico has a wonderful pool & fields with a nice fitness trail. Parents will like the playground area, which is divided into a toddler area and older childrens. The playground is old but has shaded benches for parents, water fountain, and bathrooms. The dog park is merely okay. It is small and does not separate small and large dogs :( I cant wait until it snows, the ultimate safe sledding area for children (and adults) is beside the pool!!!

Great Skatepark, but nowhere to use the restroom nearby. Really the only downfall.Ramps are smooth, all metal park, welded seams, great transitions.Honestly, the transitions are some of the best I have ridden on.Playground not to far down the road for kids, water park on other side of the play park.

Manhattan is an amazing town with amazing people. Their parks are just as amazing. Love love love this place.

Its a nice park, but Ive really only been here for farmers market or craft shows. Its got several buildings available for the craft shows. Restrooms are available in the main building and it is the only one that is heated and air conditioned. Lots of parking available. Im pretty sure on the other side there are kids toys to play on. Its near the football stadium and Bramlage as well as KSU campus.

Good venue for working out on the trails that include exercise stops, ball diamonds, football field, skate park and swimming pool open during the summer. During winter, and when there is snow in the ground, check out the sledding hill behind the pool.

Little to no shade in dog park. Rough ground, need to watch your step.

This is the home of the Riley County Fair, Kaw Valley Rodeo, MHS football, and so much more. Parking can be challenging on extremely busy days, so plan ahead on those days. The park also has softball and baseball diamonds, a fitness trail, a sledding hill, and a pool.

Good place to play with friends in the afternoon. Have plenty of space to run. Pet friendly park as well.

Went to events of all kinds in cico park swimming pool, Rodeo/ Carnival, MHS FOOTBALL games, baseball games, I take my dog to the dog park, free concerts & pankcake feed including auction, firetruck rides n craft shows!!! Lots to do there every year

Been to the dog park there with my dog. She loved it because it is a huge area for the dogs to play and run around in and even sniff around. Its completely fenced in so no dog can get out and take off. Ill take her back some day to play and let her burn some of that energy off.I also been to Pottorf hall to the farmers market. They have a nice variety of products such as veggies, breads, clothing, plants, cheeses, meat, eggs and sometimes jewelry. But soon to begin to have it outdoors again. I think on April 15th. I do love the farmers market because most have fresh grown veggies. Thats where I buy all my veggies. Most of the vendors are really nice and very helpful with information. Also they have a jam group that plays while you shop which is very nice. Mostly bluegrass but hey they all do a great job. Kids love listening to the music and kind of dance around a little sometimes and adults too really like the music. I hope you all enjoy the farmers market as much as I do.
