This is an open space to hang around and take pictures. There are a lot of local restaurants offering wide variety of cuisines, The town seems really old have a European Architectural vibe. Overall very welcoming and relaxing place for spending some quality times with your loved ones. There is an old train station and a few rail compartments where you can ride and take pictures. The Most prominent feature of the place is the big and bold writing: Love and Hope, which is lovely.

Very well maintained area. Safe environment. Ice skating rink is well lit plus large areana. Parking is a bit tricky if you dont know the area. Lots to see and walk to within day and early evening hours. Staff at the rink are super awesome! Better variety of music than previous years. Bathrooms are well kept plus heated.

Really cool little place in downtown. Classic old town feel with an ice skating rink. Dont go if its too warm out as the ice melts quickly. Otherwise its really nice.

This open air venue is perfect for outdoor concerts, you have to bring your lawn chair though. Its a great community space with lots of great eateries in walking distance.

The price for rental skates and a ticket is $15 per person for adults and $10 per person for kids. The rental skates are plastic and very cheaply made. For some peoples ankles these skates can be extremely uncomfortable, cutting into the ball of their ankle. The rink is nice. They drain the pond and build the rink on top of the pond. The majority of the people at the rink are not familiar with skating. So the rink is extremely crowded and hard to navigate. Groupon tickets are available however they can only be used after the first weekend in January.

This is my favorite outdoor skating in the winter! It is right in Old Town Manassas and has beautiful lights everywhere. The price is 15 dollars with the admission and skate rental.

Poorly maintained rink, the ice was covered in a sheet of water, the skate guard consistently was trying to skate backwards and skating into children, knocking them over and was not doing his job what so ever. Super cute idea but needs more planning and better staffing

Great setting in old Town Manassas. Lots of teens and crowded to the point that they kept closing down because there werent enough rentals available. The ice condition was terrible, even after the poor Zamboni job. People walking on the concrete with skates on, destroying the blades on the skates and no one to monitor.Great for a change of pace for our skating family. Once and done for us.

Easy to get to, great free garage parking right by the pavillion. On this evening I went to see Jason Masi sing. He was great! Wish I knew about the summer concert series before. There were foldable seats or you can always bring your own, and bring something to eat as well. Had a great time.

AHH. Manassas VA. Now, Im a history buff and a person who loves outdoors. This place is perfect for me. This is the epicenter of the city, Where history and the present meet. The quaintness of the town is strongly felt in its almost still pretty civil war era setup, to the new up and coming breweries and reasturants, there is absolutely something for everyone here. Geocachers, youll enjoy this area!!!

The Pavillion is the first park youll notice as you enter downtown Manassas. It is the heart of a charming, family-friendly downtown. The downtown is filled with unique places to shop, dine, listen to local bands. On some days its alive with activity; on others it will populated by only you and couple people walking their dogs.In the warmer months, the Pavillion hosts farmers markets, fairs, bands, dances, dance lessons, lunchtime performances, ice cream socials, national holiday events, big screen outdoor movies, etc. In the winter, it is transformed into an ice skating rink brightened by Christmas lights. In the past, Manassas provided small campfires for roasting hotdogs, marshmallows, and hot cocoa. Kids love it. The Pavillion is all about family-oriented events. The activities there kind of showcase whats important to the residents in general - an intentional community that values its families first. The Pavillion definitely enhances the charming atmosphere of a small, historic, engaged hometown with amenities and events that are usually available to bigger communities with deep pockets. I think the Pavillion is sometimes a quiet sheltered cement floor under a huge canopy where kids and skaters let off steam or where you can keep shelter from storms and hot days. It is flanked by gazebos, pretty trees, a red caboose to climb on and provides public restrooms. Across one street is a family restaurant and pub with outdoor seating, a vintage bookstore, a hip seafood place. Crossing that street on the other side of the train tracts is an historically restored, fully functioning train station and parking lot that serves DC commuters and travellers. The Harris Pavillion is a quiet park when events arent going on. When they are, its one of the areas of entertainment and a nice piece of the puzzle that is (downtown) Manassas: a welcoming diverse community with unique shops, great dining options, many artistic and musical outlets and other well-attended, family-friendly happenings. We always take visitors there. Pretty much love it the more I think about it. A facet of our little town gem.

This is strictly a review of the ice skating rink. Prices are okay, staff is friendly and helpful. Rink is alright as long as it isnt packed. The ice gets a little too chewed up and customers arent very patient. They do the best they can with the expectations of their customers. I for one would rather wait for the zamboni to refresh the ice surface. Still a very nice and convenient spot.
