Excellent place to walk and on rare occasions you see a deer.

Love our metro park system! I appreciate the attention to returning the three large parks to Olmsteds original vision, as much as is possible.

Great people to work with.

There are restrooms and picnic area in which to enjoy.

The parks can be very beautiful. Grass is always high and not fun to play in or sit in.The restrooms are often unattended and filthy.

I visited Shawee, Cox,Chickasaw, Camp Taylor and George Rogers Park this weekend. I was very saddened by the condition. The grass hadnt been maintain and there was litter all over the place. I also visit some of the parks in the East end Veterans to name a few and it was the complete opposite. If we can lets take a look at the difference and understand the we want our parks maintain to a standard as well. Being that this was the holiday weekend I expected more. I know Louisville Metro is bigger than what I noticed this weekend and that the oversight will be taken care of.
