I’m not usually critical but this experience was awful. It’s a halloween night 2h ride and it was as boring as it could be. The vessel looks pretty outdated as well. Never again for me!!
Great ride on the river. We had the dinner buffet. It was excellent. Roast beef, fried chicken, mashed potatoes, green beans, green and pasta salads. We were one of the last tables to be released to attack the buffet, but there was plenty of food left and enough time to get seconds (and thirds). If you follow directions for parking that are on the website, parking is convenient and reasonable ($3.00)
My family and I were here on Tuesday 6/4/19. We rode the Mary for the dinner/sight seeing cruise. We had a blast. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Food was very good. The best part was the scenery!! This is our 1st time to vacation in Louisville. Even our 14 yr old daughter was impressed and had fun!! Beautiful boat!! The DJ/narrator did an awesome job!! Thanks for the great time!! We will be back!!
The Staff were very courteous and attentive. The DJ is ONE OF A KIND. I will recommend this experience to anyone that has never taken the time to enjoy your company. Thank You!
We had an event today on the boat it was very nice. The boat does need some upgrades but it is still nice. Food is catered and it was very good. Enjoyed ourselves very much.
Great staff and the cruise is flawless. We have done charity cruises that were highly catered and cruises that were basic. Go on this boat and support the groups that rent it. You will like it better than The Belle cruises and have a much better time.
We had our wedding there. Everyone was fantastic. Diane, the event coordinator, is a life-saver. She kept us going forward and helped us when we were overwhelmed by wedding planning. Captain Drew was also fantastic and very personable. Everyone involved was helpful and accommodating. They are LGBT friendly and a good place for non-traditional ceremonies as well traditional ones. We highly recommend this venue!
Fantastic dinner cruise! Steak was so good. Chicken ok (breading very soggy not crisp at all) but the overall experience was awesome!
Very relaxing and nice ride
I was very disappointed that accommodations was not made for a disabled veteran. Staff was very rude when it was brought to their attention saying theres nothing I can do about it. The veteran was in a wheelchair and his table was on the second level. Staff did not offer to help him up the stairs. Even if staff did not know when reservations were made that he was disabled accommodations should be made for him when they became aware. Im sure anyone would have changed seats to allow him to be on the lower level if the effort had been made to ask. Very disappointed to see our veteran treated in this manner.
We had prom here this year and it was LIT! The cast and crew were very friendly, and the food was GREAT! The DJ was also very friendly, i would recommend this boat to anyone looking for a place for a great date night or for people looking for a place to hold prom!
Weather was perfect. Food was good. Service was excellent.
What a humiliating experience! I was told at the buffet line that if my ticket said dinner I was entitled to food. I got a plate and went to the bar. A manager approached me and said I was NOT entitled to dinner and took my plate away! In front of everyone at the bar! I obviously was not trying to steal since I stopped at the bar. This is a training failure on at least two fronts. The person at the buffet should know the rules and the manager needs to learn how to handle when its too late to follow the rules. What did she do with the plate of food? Feed the staff? Put it back on the buffet? Throw it away? Everyone makes mistakes. Professionals know how to correct the mistake. The whole experience was exactly the opposite of good customer service.
Wonderful cruise and great service friendly staff and good food.
I enjoyed the people and the food. I would recommend this dinner cruise.
Overall, the experience was good and worth the money. I took my whole family; including my two young children. The boat is charming and the crew very friendly and professional. The biggest surprise was the quality of the food. I didnt expect the food to be good, based on past experiences with riverboat cruises. However, the food Mary M. Miller was quite good. The buffet did not offer a lot of variety, but the food was good and there was plenty of it. My son and I went back for seconds and thirds once every passenger had eaten. I would recommend going during the summer or spring for a better view of the city. However, we went in the late fall and still enjoyed it. Well worth the price!
Great evening on the Mary M Miller! What a fun cruise for my group! Great service, beautiful scenery, and fantastic weather!
Went on the lunch cruise as part of a work outing. Food was good, didnt feel overcrowded and length of the cruise was just right. Would definitely go again.
We went in the beginning of November so understandably it was off season. The food was as expected, good but not fine dining, necessarily. We knew it was buffet so no surprises. Atmosphere could have been vastly improved by hiring a disc jockey who liked his job. The music was loud on all decks and without any mix to appeal to crowd. We began requesting songs hoping to introduce variety to the overly loud annoying song choice preferred by the disc jockey but a few songs and then right back. After yelling over music all night and leaving with a headache, it felt like a two hour trip in a crowded bar that we would have vacated if we had that option. The boat itself was nice and we managed to still enjoy yourself but
We had a great lunch and relaxing ride up the Ohio River.
Super fun little tour.It was a little hard to hear the tour guide over the speakers on level 3, but the view was nice.
Very nice!! Husband booked dinner reservations for our 9yr anniversary, and it was fun. 9/23 was our date and the gentleman who was the speaker on the boat was so nice and funny!! He tells you bits of history around the area and chose good music. We paid extra for a window seat and it was well worth it. The bridge and all lights up at night and we was lucky as fireworks went off downtown for the end of leukaemia walk and the fireworks where awesome especially from boat view. The food was good, roasted chicken, pulled pork, salad, green beans w/carrots, baked potato, coleslaw, pasta salad, and dessert. The dessert area was a little disappointing (cheap store bought cookies and not sure what the other thing was) but to be honest we was so full after our main meal we never got to dessert! There was also a bar, sodas, lemonade, etc.All in all great fun and views. We loved it
A cruise on the Ohio is always fun. The boat was nothing special. Long lines at the bar.
Great for a small cruise/private charter.
Very good food, DJ, lovely evening got a river ride.
So good, great date night
Boat was nice, but damn...i left my drink at the table to go to the bathroom and I come back and the table is cleared. Alcohol is not cheap, allow us to enjoy our time food and drink. Dont need to rush us out.
Great food and fun cruise!!
We paid extra for the window seat also but the window was fogged up and couldnt see anything, the food was O K nothing special, purser told me we could go up on another deck after dinner, when I asked about the window. The guide put a little touch sarcasm and bad humer into her repatwair. Couldnt go to the back of the boat for the deisel fumes were so strong. Other than that the cruise was good. Took the McAlpine Lock tour, that was interesting.
The ride was very enjoyable as was the crew and general atmosphere.
Very romantic place
They wait until boarding time to start moping and drying holding everyone up.
Imeges
