Nice and clean park. If you are going fishing bring a boat. Very shallow lake for the first 10 ft or so.

Long Run Park is an idyllic haven from the busy life of the inner city. Bucolic sloping hills run straight down to the waters edge and give a wonderful vantage point of the entire lake.I proposed to my fiancé here and it will always be near and dear to our hearts.

Overfished, a lot of snags in the water, but very pleasing on the eyes, great place for dates or other get togethers.

Good place for a picnic with family and friends

Im a beginner in the kayak world. As in, this was my first time being on a kayak.. anywhere. This was the perfect practice lake. Today happened to be pretty calm, which helped me to gain confidence in my balance. Its quiet, large enough that everyone has ample space, and just beautiful to be out on. Theres some good bass in here as well. Catfish have a minimum 12 keeping size now. But for those not angling, theres fountains that kids can run through, a volleyball net, a basketball court and tons of gazebos and shade trees. I saw some people doing some biking too. Great park, and at the moment my top kayaking spot

I would like to see more done with this park, i.e. a walking path, soccer field, and updated amenities.

Perfect spot to look at stars.

It is pretty serene, a nice size pond (1.6 miles walk around).Has cook out areas with covered seating areas. Has a water park area + a playground.

It was peaceful and the neighbors were very kind.

This place was AMAZING, and I was lucky to go there with a local friend. It was so quiet that you could hear every cricket and bird sounds, even people talking to each other at long distance. What a clear fresh weather!

Gorgeous.

Park is incredibly dirty. People just leave their trash everywhere despite containers being available. Its quite disappointing.

Its a beautiful park. So green and quiet. The water was clean. It smelled so fresh. Theres lots of sports places to. Its a calming environment. It could be therapeutic for some.

Long Run Park is beautiful, serene, and vast. The are many things to enjoy. There ia a lake, picnic tables, outdoor picnic shelters, a playground, and basketball courts. Great place for families.

My favorite fishing spot perfect t olace for a family outting

I love how it is not a busy park for most of the time. The playground may be considered more of a 5 year and up playground though, but my toddlers love it. The water park is fun for the kids to run through. There is a lake as well that has lots of ducks to watch. Theres also a basketball and tennis court to play on if wanted. Overall, usually clean and a nice more low key park. We love it.

Its a beautiful park with a water park and Gazebos to picknic under and great plaxe to bring your bikes and ride. Also great for walking..

I love Long Run Park. Been going since I was a kid. Gorgeous, peaceful, and serene. People are respectful of your space as well.

I am being kind giving 3 stars. Small spray park and playground are nice. The lake has good fishing. The grounds of the park are just not maintained. Overgrown grass and vegetation. Picnic tables are very old. No hiking or walking trails. Beautiful area. Just needs some money put into it.

I went there to enjoy the sun today and the grass everywhere was at least two feet tall! How hard is it to keep this place mowed? This also is not the first time Ive had issues with the grass being too tall.

The park is very friendly and open. The landscaping is clean and the playground for kids is great. We walked past the lake and it looks like a nice place to fish or do water sport.

Park was nice. Lotsa folks running the loop. Clean bathrooms and nice playground.

Nice place to drive/ walk

I have been here twice in the last couple weeks. Once for a BBQ and once to go fishing. Fishing is great here and pretty popular. I caught a large mouth bass when I went. The picnic areas and splash pad are awesome too.

Love that you can drive around the lake. If you have someone that cannot walk far or babies asleep in the car, this is your place. Very quiet.

Golf course in OK shape. Pro was rude and just started grabbing things out of our carts without explaining why

Fishing sucks I have been there several times all over the lake and never had a bite and I use all types of bait. Wont go back.

I suggest a kayak or boat rental to attract tourists and guests. The water park is nice for the children and basketball goals are new.

Huge beautiful park with many options for play or events. People often fish or feed the ducks but play in the water I think is discouraged, not that you would want to. Very pretty and quiet most days.

Would have been better if you could launch a boat but they dont have a boat dock only for canoe

It just OK for what I do but I am sure that others like it must h more. It offers a tennis & a basketball court. Volleyball net on the lawn. Lots of picnic tables, bathrooms, boatlaunch, fishing and a water feature for kids. Actually a lot of stuff.

Best park near my home. Beautiful in the summer time but theres always a lot of people. Fun to picnic there, fish, kayak, etc. Great photo ops too!
