Ive had my eyes on this park for several years and we finally made it! Family friendly because it is very affordable. They want you to come here and enjoy yourself, thoroughky, without taking all of your money! Many attractions. The adventure river, similar to lazy river, but the current moves you along, was my fave! Park is clean. Food is decent. Friendly staff. Prime location for hotels, airport and sightseeing. Our trip here was a win!

Really great experience. The park was extremely clean. The staff was so friendly. Im used to amusement parks being run by grumpy teenagers. But everyone here was so nice and so friendly. We had to wear a mask to get through the gate but then as long as we were outside we didnt have to wear a mask. People generally kept their distance and respected one anothers space. The lines were quite short and we were able to ride everything we wanted to.

I grew up with Kentucky Kingdom when it was six flags. After reopening, it has come pretty far. Rebuilt many rides and added others. Single tickets usually run expensive, but the season passes are a good value. I have not ridden all the rides yet, but many of the classics are still there as well as some cool new ones. This park is good for all ages. They have something for everyone. There is a kids area with nothing but rides for little ones. Then you have some pretty intense roller coasters. When you add the water park, you have a fun filled day for the family. The food is decent, but expect to pay too much for it. Sunscreen is free and they have soft drink stations that are cheap. Ive been to Kentucky Kingdom and Hurricane bay many times and it is still a great place to visit.

Great rides and waterpark is even better!! We enjoyed the wave pool and the water slides. Everyone in my family are pretty strong swimmers, so we didnt have trouble, but each time the waves were turned on, there was 1-2 people being pulled out by the lifeguards, so STAY WITH YOUR KIDS when the waves come on!! They do provide life jackets as well, but the waves are super strong. Food was pretty good as well!!We will definitely visit again if in the area!!

There are a couple factors that will either make this 5 stars or a 1 star and that is who is going. If this is a family trip with the little ones then it will be good for them and the roller coasters will be good enough for them. But if you are looking for a cheaper Six Flags or Cedar Point you wont be very satisfied. Also we had a car show going on when we went but parking sucked even if you got here early then you still have to walk far, maybe that would be different without the car show but then I think maybe the park guests should have had priority. Overall we had a good time but wish there was more/better rides.

So much fun for everyone! We had a large age span of kids 15, 14, 8 and 3. There was more than enough for everyone to enjoy. The park was very clean and the staff was friendly. We didnt want to leave! This was way better than other parks that cost more. We loved the wrist bands for free drinks, and we used them often! The only negative was the length of the food line and that the food wasnt that good. But we truly enjoyed ourselves and will definitely be repeat visitors!

Strong potential for Covid spread. Masks required ONLY at the entrance of the park. Masks can be discarded inside the park, except in stores and food stops. Social distancing is recommended but anti-maskers dont pay attention to that request. Little to no distancing in ride lines. Some park employees and ride operators had masks down under their chins. Yes, rules are in place to help combat the virus spread, but I saw no enforcement. Yes, public safety announcements are made throughout the park but again, people pay no attention. I made such a bad decision in coming here, and purchasing a season ticket. I will not be returning EVER. Anyone with a healthy respect for Covid-19 should stay away. Its all about money, not saving lives. They claim they enforce the rules.....they do not! Distance markers are missing in numerous areas and there is certainly NO distancing in ride lines. As you as approach the end of the ride lines, where employees are located, there is more attempt to make people social distance. Overall, still a hotbed for Covid spread.

This visit was great! There wasnt a huge crowd, the lines werent bad even with social distancing guidelines. My only complaint is the food. Their food was not worth 1/4 of what I paid for. Even the fries were definitely nothing Id eat if I werent at an amusement park. So when u go and u absolutely have to eat, Id go for the pretzels. we spent 2 days at the park and pretzels were the only thing we found that tasted halfway decent.

Our first time visiting was this year. We were reluctant in the past due to hearing mixed reviews. We bought season passes & have been quite satisfied with the park. The lines for rides are really short. Social distancing is encouraged, though it seems many people forget. We saw MANY people wearing masks when in close proximity with others. The park is clean & the staff pleasant. We have always enjoyed very convenient parking. My only criticism is that several sanitizer stations are often empty. Definitely a good value & experience!

The rides are fun and I was glad that there were rides that my one year one year old can ride. That being said, they had closed several of the rides and water slides for the season already but the website makes no mention of that. We waited almost 30 minutes to get a couple of chicken tender meals and when my husband said something to the person working the food booth, she just walked away without saying anything. Also, we waited in line to ride the raging rapids ride just to be told that my daughter couldnt ride because she was wearing a bathing suit. This is after we had been standing on the platform for a good minute and there was a very long line we would have waited through a second time. There are other rides that have signs specifying that you need street clothes to ride on but this one didnt. I mean, its a water ride for heavens sake. So fun, but poor customer service, in my opinion. I mean when you are charging $30 per ticket, and have people driving from hours away you can at least specify that some rides will be closed down.

SUPER SPREADER EVENT!!! NO SOCIAL DISTANCING, TOO MANY GROUPS OF PEOPLE AND NO GUESTS WEARING MASKS. After seeing how Kings Island and Cedar Point figured out Covid I felt like amusement parks were safe enough. This is not the case at Kentucky Kingdom. I would like to say that most if not all staff were wearing masks and it was a very hot day, but the praise stops there. Going into the park there was a temperature check and guests were asked to put on a mask when entering so we thought this was a good sign. As we entered the actual park all guest masks came off and it was a free for all for everything. People were standing around in large groups, no spacing when standing in line and I was sneezed on by a kid. After this we just left. Now we are stuck with these season passes we cannot use again because my family safety means more than the cost of season passes. SHAME ON YOU KENTUCKY KINGDOM FOR PUTTING MY FAMILIES HEALTH AT RISK. We are in the middle of a Pandemic and with business being run like this I am not surprised Kentucky Numbers are spiking. SHAME ON YOU KENTUCKY KINGDOMI was not there long enough to take pictures.

I need to adjust my rating...... My family had a great time... Me not so much. When a handicap cart cost more each day than a 2 day ticket there is an issue. To take advantage of handicap people for profit is just wrong. I would of happily showed my handicap status to prove I was legit. Stop punishing sincere needy people for money! We had so much fun!!!!! Now I will say, we had the understanding rides were cleaned between passengers. I saw nothing cleaned at all that day. Nor the supplies at those stations to do so. There were lots of hand sanitizer stations available, so we were satisfied. I was disappointed the rapids ride was down. Why cant it open one party per boat or 2 seats between parties???? We were so excited to ride it. The lines for most rides were manageable in time standing. Lots of family fun!!!

A bad experience in Kentucky kingdom. They put sign saying to not use phones cause they could get damaged but they don’t put that they could kick you out if you use them on one of the rides. Not big huge cups or anything crazy that clearly should be paid for, just a small paper cone cup for a quick drink of choice. That would be great!! I honestly think that would be a wonderful gesture. We’ve made this a yearly destination. The price for entry is reasonable and for us Indiana people we get the next day free. Plus the free cokes for Indiana folks and the free sunscreen. The water park is by far the best part of this park. From the two wave pools and the kiddos section with the giant bucket of water that tips over...Awesome fun! The big Kahuna waves were fun but beware, it will knock you off your feet if you’re not paying attention. Deep Water Dive is amazing! Tallest, steepest drop capsule slide on the planet, this will get your heartbeat going...What a ride! All the coasters are deceptively exciting! From an inverted first drop to sharp fast corners...You will not be disappointed. The food prices are reasonable and you don’t really mind the prices when you get free drinks and the extra day! My first visit was back in 1998 before the closing and resurrection. If you like a smaller park that’s not so crowded and lines you don’t have to stand in for hours...This is your place. Management does not handle issues well, security does not do their job properly. My child had her pass taken after a family was involved in a fight and approached my child and told screamed and cussed at her “not to record”. My child responded “who are you?” out of confusion and that was considered a “verbal altercation” .When asked what the verbal altercation consisted of, the public safety supervisor Aubrey stated she could not tell me but it was written my child was involved in a “verbal altercation”. She also stated I could not know what the verbal altercation consisted of because it was an internal issue. After her pass was taken a management member then escorted my daughter off and threatened to have her arrested for trespassing when she was not involved in the physical fight and not involved in a “verbal altercation”. I could understand if my child was truly in a “verbal altercation”, but she wasn’t and for her to be treated as if she was a criminal is beyond unacceptable! There are also several videos on the internet of the actual fight and my child was not in any of them.Do better KY Kingdom!

I am only giving them one star because zero stars is not an option. What a sorry excuse for an amusement park. They took out the sunscreen stations “due to covid” but have failed to make that known on their website. Conveniently for them they now sell sunscreen but were currently out and waiting on a resupply that never came. As a veteran with a disability, the only ride I can enjoy without injuring myself is the river float. This would have been fine except for the rude and vindictive staff forcing me to exit when a line formed. The attendants were forcing guests to wait by not removing the empty floats/tubes and getting them to those in line. Totally avoidable issue. The attendants were allowing the youngsters to splash around disturbing everyone with no tube when there is a pool next door. I asked multiple employees and “security” to speak with a manger and was rebuffed every time. It wasn’t their job, or there was nothing they could do is what I kept being told. I went to customer service to levy a complaint and was basically told there was nothing they could do. I asked if I could have a bracelet or some type of designation to allow me to stay on the ride since it is the only one I can use. I was told that they could not possibly do that either. I asked for a refund on my season pass that I used once and have no intention of using again due to the obstinance, incompetence, cruelty and rudeness I was exposed to. I was told that their policy forbids refunds for any reason and that there was no one above them I could speak with. What an absolute disappointment. I’ve visited many amusement parks across the country and this one is by far the worst. Not even close. If they can’t do it any better than this, they need to call it quits. No respect or accommodation for veterans or people with disabilities in this day and age? This place is a disgrace. Don’t waste your money.

We took a work group here and spent over $1000 with ticket, food and drink purchases. While hanging out in the Beer Garden, one of the “managers” Amanda started throwing away drinks that were still half full without asking everyone in our group if they belonged to anyone. We confronted her about it she said she couldn’t do anything about it. After about 15 minutes of going back and forth, she had the bartender give us Gatorade to compensate for the cocktails she threw away. It didn’t come close to the money we spent on the drinks and for voicing our concern; she had us escorted to the holding area to get us ejected from the park. After speaking with the authorities at the holding area, they realized Amanda was exaggerating the situation that we weren’t causing a problem and allowed us to stay at the park. Needless to say; she tried to push her weight around to get us kicked out bc we were upset at her throwing away expensive drinks while we were hanging out at the beer garden. We will never come back to this place and are highly disappointedly in the way your “management” handled the situation.

Me n my fiance had bought season passes we went to the park 3 consecutive days not one time was anything said about our 2 yr old. Came back 1month later and they made us purchase him a $50 pass for us to even be able to get into the park when I purchased tickets it was kids 2 and under free now all the sudden it is changed and enforced my child was 1inch over the height after this year ill never return to this park

Fun for all ages. Enjoyed the sea lion show and hurricane bay was a good time on a hot day. Long lines for the rides but thats typical of any amusement park I have been to. Really appreciated the free sun screen and adult beverages, although they were pricey, were actually worth the price.

Had blast. Some rides for younger children but not many. BETTER to take them to water park side. Looking forward to going back.

Such a nice place, can enjoy the rides and do the water park at same location and same price. Remember to bring your flip-flops for hurricane bay as it gets hot on little feet. No wait at lines on Friday and the weather was perfect. 5 year old had to see the movie ride twice. The water lion and seal show was worth seeing, wish it was a little longer. The hamburger and chicken fingers were unexpectedly good. They provide sunscreen at several locations if you forget to bring your own. You can refill water through out park. Overall great experience.

One of our favorite places the staff and facilities are very very clean . They are customer friendly and will do whatever it takes to make your day in the park very fun and safe . I take my daughter and her friends every year for 3 years now amd never have we occurred any difficult or bad situations .Best of all the lines are never too long and they give you free soft drinks all day and out of state people get in for 2 full days both places 39.99 .as of 4/7/2021

The got there at 5:15 pm and by the time we made it through the entrance line. Getting everyone temp checked my youngest kid was too hot and couldnt go in. So we had to go to the car to get her cooled down and went back made it up through the line again and through the crowds to hurricane bay it was already closed cause it was 6pm by that time. It is ridiculous that we pay $50 for season passes and the water park closes 2 hours earlier than the entire park.

This is a great small family amusement park with rides for the whole family, storm chaser and lightning run are both great roller coasters! The water park is really nice and clean, the employees are great, I would highly reccomend this amusement park, you can ride all the rides and still have plenty of time to do all the water park attractions in one day

Ok I only love one thing about Kentucky kingdom thats hurricane bay lazy river. The roller coasters at Kentucky kingdom only cater to skinny people. The water slides cater to only skinny people. Yet they serve fatty foods. And only offer Pepsi products. I prefer coka cola

Lines were good. Place was a little messy. The cigarette smoking while standing in line was a little much for a few rides, but the employees cant monitor everyone
