Great spot to put kayak in with ease... not as clean as Id have hoped (litter) but still beautiful.

The lake is wonderful this time of year. Watching spring coming in while fishing or hiking the trails is pretty relaxing. Differently alot to see out there and my kids love to go all well to the parks. Very nice park to go to

We walk the trails here but now I see a lot of things being spray painted rocks and plants and there is garbage on the trails!!

My family and I go here all the time we love it we go canoeing and fishing have little picnics we love to feed the ducks and just sit there and look at the water and just have a nice relaxing time sometimes the park is a little bit dirty but it is always a nice friendly relaxed environments we look forward to going again

I really like that theres 2 parks. Loved feeding the ducks with my 4 year old. Really wish people didnt graffiti on the rocks and trees. I really hate that. Wish someone would clean that up. Overall a great experience and will definitely be back.

Nice park. The water needs to be cleaned and better taken care of.

I would like to see this park be maintained better than what it is. Metro lets the grass get way to long before maintaining and bushes needs to b trimmed. This park gets very little attention. Very sad!!!!!

No fish to be caught but a great place for a nature walk with the fam. Its close. Its no crystal clear and big Minnesota lake from back home for me buy it was a nice place to visit and make some summer memories and get some fresh air and exercise with the fam.

Ive been coming to this park since i was little. Its very large, has beautiful views of the late that sits in it, you can fish, feed ducks, walk on the miles of abundance of paths, feed ducks, enjoy eating at many of the picnic tables, take the kiddos of all ages to the two different parks, and so much more. Well worth stopping in and seeing. Its conveniently located near major expressway and roads. A gas station right up the street along with a small icecream shop that just puts the cherry on top of the whole park experience

A very nice park for a picnicking or fishing. It is much more beautiful than it was in the 1980s when duckweed took over the lake.

The park is beautiful, but you cant set at the tables because the garbage cans close by smell so bad.

Really, extremely polluted. I honestly think we need to clean it and better the environment around, and in it.

Extremely Overfished and the only good spots are only accessable by boat. Still a great family place.

One of my favorite quiet spots. The walking trails could use some upkeep though. They are very overgrown. I would love to bring my kayak here. One request... People, please stop feeding bread to the ducks! You think you are being nice to them, but it actually kills them... Slowly. Do some research and if you must feed wild animals, at least give them food their bodies were made to digest.

I hate to give any public land a bad review but this place is very trashy and the fishing is not that good. Now I know thats probably not due to the state department not taking care of the place it is probably due to the public that uses this place. It blows my mind how trashy people can be.

Gross! Over run with algae and pollution. Is there really any excuse for desk chairs in the water? Its been there months too. Dont eat anything from this lake! It smells horrific as well. The water does. Dont swim in it if you can avoid it.

The lake itself is polluted, do not eat any fish caught here. People leave drug paraphernalia on the ground and trash. Atvs and dirtbikes are not allowed within the park yet people ride them. The nearby golf course polutes the lake with pesticides and fertilizers. Its a county owned park and lake yet they do nothing to improve it. The memorial is about the only decent spot there.
