The Lewis and Clark Bridge from Longview, over the Columbia River, and connecting with US 30 in Oregon mounts up high over the shipping lane on the River. Like the Astoria Bridge, they built this one so tall, that cargo ships could easily pass under. Much better than a draw bridge! This one is only two lanes wide, however. On the Oregon side there is a viewpoint to look back at the bridge and the scenic setting.
Nice view, i always know Im notbfar from home when i see, or come across this bridge. Brings back a lot if memories also
Cool bridge, great views!
I dont really like bridges, but all there is to see while crossing Im a bit distracted.
I ordered unlimited salad bar and they didnt restock half of the stuff in the salad bar until I was done eating. I told them 3 times and I finally had to get rude to get them to do it.
Gets you there
A nice scenic route. Be sure to bring a camera to capture the landscape!
If youre in Longview and you want to leave, the most direct and efficient route is the Lewis and Clark Bridge to Oregon.
What can I say? You drive over ot.
Beautiful bridge
Very nice vintage bridge. 4 rather than 5 stars because of the SNAFU with its painting and upgrades the last few years... Hopefully over for awhile.
Beautiful bridge crossing the Columbia River. Great views from up top but dont get distracted and watch where you going. Bridge is narrow.
Love the view from the top of the bridge
Connecting two states, beautiful bridge
Awesome place to cross into Oregon. Bridge is high and great views, particularly when a high pressure weather system sets in. Watch out for rush hour and holidays. Traffic system can clog right up taxing you up to an extra 30 min to cross.
Bridges are pretty cool.
Riding in a car or truck you can get great view of port of longview & rainier,Oregon
Love this bridge veiws are amazing.!! Please Ppl dont mess up there.!!
It needs work
Its a bridge that connects oregon to longview washington
I never had such a great time that far off the ground and then as soon as it began it was over
Very cool bridge with a lot of history behind it!
Bridge is heavily used and backs up easily.
Watch out for the huge pothole on the oregon end of the bridge going into oregon. HOLY CRAP ITS HUGE!
No tolls on this bridge, lets keep it that way.
Nice view
Its a bridge! It goes over water...can you believe it!!!!
Almost always some kind of delay
Beautiful
Love Hate relationship
Good
Rickety and slow
Its a bridge I got over it
Love the structural engineering
Only way to get across over that way but watch out for the road paving after 7pm
It is a bridge that crosses into Washington, from my personal experience it is so high! It felt bewildering.
Keeps ya dry but suffers from frequent backups.
