This is a great park. Big dog park is huge and the little dog park is large as well. Right on the river. Always lots of doggy bags. Very clean. Only issue is it has that strong compost smell from next door.

My dogs love this place. They start howling to let the other dogs know theyre coming as soon as we round the bend. Lol. People can hear us coming a mile away. Yes, we have hound dogs. Theyre very vocal and passionate dogs!

It was 445 am and the park was empty. However.. It was clean and water was in the buckets. I freshened a few. And there were dog toys to be found and played with.. My boy is not very social so we take him early or late.. So that all our furry friends, and two legged ones aswell, stay safe.. So i give it 5 stars..

Ive been taking my 8 month old puppy here for the past few weeks to get her socialized. So far, its been a nice experience. Ive met pretty nice people along with their awesome dogs. Ive heard from one person that aggressive dogs show up sometimes, but I have yet to see that. The park is also clean (except when people dont pick up after their dogs sometimes), has plastic pools for the dogs to cool themselves in, and a small stone trail to walk around in the bigger fenced-in area. Theres also water buckets for the dogs, but they are usually pretty dirty. I usually bring my own water and bowl for my pup anyway.The only things that I dont like about this place is its location and how they need cleaner bathrooms. The smell of the wood dust doesnt help sometimes and the parks right next to a rail yard (though I love trains so it doesnt bother me much).I definitely recommend this place!

Small, stinky from Swansons Bark, and noisy with traffic. But its a dog park so still awesome. Has covered picnic benches, an area for small dogs, and water and play things for the dogs. And some very good bois.

I’ve takin Marlee twice to play and we both love it, there’s lots of room for him to explore and run, the people are nice. I especially like that theirs two fenced areas to use, if your dog happens to be shy etc. it works great.

It was a decent sized park for the big dogs, with a huge small dog side; the largest Ive ever seen. It is near a river, so you could make a long walk between the two. Also, there is a port-a-potty- however my husband went to use it and said it was so full it was near the brim of toilet seat.

Take your dog down by the river. Skip the park. River was low, with much sand to run on.

Dog park is great, the people are friendly and there is a fair amount of shaded seating. Smaller area for little dogs. Theres a river next to it that my dog likes to go run along so we play at the park, go to the river, then back to the park until she dries off

Awesome fenced-in park with a kiddie pool, tables, covered area, and sand pits for your pups enjoyment. It has everything and the community seems to take pride in keeping it up.

Great park! We use the small dog area which is nicer now that it is enlarged.

A good off leash park...benchs and small covered area...lots of room for dogs to run and play...porta potty was the only negative thing, needed to be serviced!

Best place to let your dog run. Very large space without big mud holes. Nice walking track around park. Space for smaller dogs. Good tables, shelter, water, and more.

Well maintained, running water available, separate areas for large and small dogs alike. Been a few times and the other dogs are always friendly! The owners have always been friendly and responsible. Lots of room for plenty of dogs to play together or alone.

It has somewhat of a nice fenced dog park. It a good place to take a dip in the river. Restrooms could be better, thats when theyre actually unlocked for use.

Bigger water toys for summer are needed

Wish there was more room to launch a boat, the sand has taken over. As you put your boat in and head down river, youll have the pleasure of seeing the homeless yacht club close to under the bridge. The bathrooms are always locked so if you need to relieve yourself youll have to do it in the bushes. Great parking though.

Lots of space for the dogs to run around. There are two separate areas. Volunteers in yellow vests are knowledgeable and the dogs and owners are friendly.

Always nice dogs & owners! After her time in the dog park, my Great Dane ALWAYS goes down the hill & she plays on the beach & runs through the river!

Good people; good dogs. In the spring, when the smelt are running do NOT bring tiny dogs and not have your pets under close control. Many bald eagles nest in the surrounding cottonwoods.

So fun to watch my sons Huskie play/interact with other dogs. I wished there were dog parks like this back in my time.

Love this dog park. I posted two pictures of some loser washing their car with the dog water hose, LOL!! If the parks water bill is high, this is probably the cause.

So the little 50 by 50 area that is the dog park here is okay I guess... the rest of this park is absolute trash. Its just a place for people to hang out and do drugs basically theres a boat ramp here but its got to be the worst one in the Columbia River basin. Bathrooms are never open but I can see why with the constant flow of drug traffic and homeless hang abouts.Theres a very small playground here but honestly I dont think Id let my kids play on it or even go more than 5 feet away from me here.This is like the absolute sketches place in Longview definitely the underbelly of this area.

Dont ever go there too often. Howevee it is a pretty clean and heavily patrolled for crime. Its a safe place.

Great place to walk dog swim in river. Have lunch on a busy day to and from. Great place to meet friends new old. Lots of laughter. I remember what fun when I was younger. Pre MT st Helens 1980 how much different it was. Can always find somthing to share with those of us that remember and those to share the history. Just a fun place that shares. I am glad that it is still there to still enjoy the two rivers meeting in one place. I have never posted anything like this before. Yes great place a jewel we have to enjoy.

While I was socializing my dog there was a upset mother who said a guy in a truck propositioned her 16 year old boy. So thats kinda creepy. Other then that I like the place, it has a great dog park and River Walk.

Bathroom about 100 feet away was closed. About three cars around there with guys in the cars, two on the hill, probably on a break, still kinda weird. The companions of the doggies were picking up their doggies pooh, but lots if dried up stuff. Nice that there were kiddie pools and a few buckets that gave the dogs water. Plenty of plastic bags, but one of the holders were completely empty farther away. Plenty of parking. A few benches and an open building for some shade. There are always people there with dogs.

My dog was attacked by a labradoodle. Owner just stood there.

I have owned dogs most of my life and have a very well trained border collie that occasionally comes to work with me - at a mental health clinic. She is impeccably socialized with both dogs and humans. At our second visit to the park my dog was immediately surrounded by other dogs, most notably a older boxer who proceeded to hound her for her tennis ball. She, being alpha female snapped at them lightly to remind them to leave her ball alone. When she brought the ball back to me a much larger breed came over to me and as dogs will sometimes do stole the ball. I gently took the dog by the scruff of the neck and told it No upon which I was nearly attacked by a screaming woman and man who accused me of bringing an aggressive dog to the park and of hurting her dog. The man was absolutely in my face; six inches from my eyes. All this happened in about a minute and a half. I shouted at them to stop, said we are leaving, got in the car and went. We will never return to this park. It is notable that at no time did any of the dogs show any sign of distress or aggressive behavior. They figure out things for themselves... I do not, however think the people are safe at all. I have quite a bit of experience with dogs and dog parks (and people). We have never been treated like this by anyone, ever. I recently moved to the area and was simply looking for a nice place where my dog could chase the tennis ball and have some of her customary interactions with other people and dogs. This is obviously not possible because of folks like this, who have no idea how to act with proportion or restraint in public at all. We will not be going to this park ever again, nor will we go near any other dogs in gathering spots in this area due to this astounding behavior by owners. We visited a local church on the other side of town close to where we live where there were people outside and I told them about what happened, and asked them if they thought it might be OK for us to play ball there - they said it would be fine and said we could come back any time. We will, and I appreciate the hospitality.Perhaps if people like this gather here the park should be closed. This kind of stupidity continues somebody will eventually get shot. I will be visiting the local humane society to obtain a local dog license this week, and I will tell them about it too. Stay away; this place isnt safe for anyone.

My dogs love this park, but sometimes it smells terrible. The rotting piles of who-knows-what next door have an overpowering aroma. All you can do is hope the park is upwind that day.

The dog park was a great size for my big, energetic pup. The regulars were all friendly, but the general area of the park made me a little wary. Didnt experience anything negative while I was there, though. The biggest complaint was the distinct odour in the air. Landfill/Industrial sort of smell. Not enough of a bother to cause me to leave.

Just a large fenced in area, there is a bathroom [portable] couple tables, little shade..other fenced in area for smaller dogs..great for running, throwing balls etc etc
