The cabin, Corks Up, was very nice. The perfect spot for a night or weekend romantic getaway. We also did the wine tasting at the winery. The have a good selection of both sweet and dry wines. The sweet wines are very good. The owners were friendly, helpful and very nice. Would definitely recommend the cabins and winery. We will be back.

This winery has fabulous wines whether you like sweet wines or dry wine. The owners Sid Proctor, Miranda Proctor or their son Eric know their stuff when creating fine wines. Their staff is always friendly and make you feel right at home. They now have cabins you can rent complete with hot tubs. Go and check them out I dont think you will be sorry. They also have a lot to offer for your special events whether it may be a wedding or some other event you may want to have.

This is an awesome place to relax and let time pass by. Its nestled back in, so the entrance does sneak up on you. They offer dry and sweet wine tastings depending on your preference. You can also buy a glass and sit on their porch or seating area. There are small snacks to buy if youd like something to go with your wine.There is a small gift shop that offers t-shirts, glasses, etc.

Excellent place for a get away. Me and Dana have been to both cabins and love both of them. Did and Mimi are the greatest people to be around. Would highly recommend going and visiting their winery

If you want a relaxing little get away please check out the cabins at Weathervane! We only stayed one night but it was wonderful!!! The cabins have private hot tubs and are very romantic. We sat on the front porch and enjoyed a bottle of Perfect Storm. We had a very nice evening!!!

Very quaint and absolutely wonderful winery! Sid and his group are very hospitable and knowledgeable. And wines are wonderful!!!! I love the fruity wines but they have others too. Go by and see them! You won’t regret it!!!

The best place to explore a tasting of their delicious varietal wines, relax with a bottle with friends or socialize and dance at one of their live music events! Either way you just can’t go wrong here.

Its always a nice visit to Weathervane Winery. The red wines are exceptional in the area. We like to bring some snacks and share a bottle of wine when we go. There is music on some Sundays (you have to check the schedule - COVID19 restricts the music and staying at the winery to snack and drink though).

Weathervane is my Favorite winery. The owners are absolutely wonderful people. My friends and I had a girls weekend at the Cabins. They are so cute and most Peaceful. My only minor complaint is the very poor TV reception. Unable to watch TV. The website states Sleeper Sofa but it wasnt. Other than that I was very satisfied and enjoyed my weekend. I have already recommended this place to many of my friends and Ill be coming again.

This is my favorite venue for outdoor music in Triad area. It’s intimate, Casual, friendly, family fun and always has great performers! An added plus is they have pick-up and drop off service right from your car if you can’t get into their tiny lot.

I have attended several wine tastings, which were all delicious and then enjoyed the music under the stars.The customer service is very knowledgeable of the wines and are eager to answer any questions.We are very fortunate to have this caliber of great wine and entertainment in our area,I highly recommend for a Great Evening to enjoy with your significant other or a group of friends!

A must visit for sure. Went here with my woman to do a wine tasting. We both have never done one before but the woman at the counter was extremely pleasent and helpful. Lynn was her name. She was very sweet and knowledgeable about the selection we tried. The wines we tried were of good quality and most I would buy at the store. We did the sweet tasting option by the way. The wine slushy was to die for. Never heard of that before and it sucks that I didnt because it was amazing. The scenery was gorgeous and very quaint. Recommended.

We hosted a rehearsal dinner at the Weathervane Winery in October, 2014. It was a wonderful experience. A special touch was the fruit and cheese setup provided by our caterer for guests on the outside patio prior to the dinner inside the room. The candles on the patio added such a lovely ambiance.The staff was very helpful with assisting in the wine choices for our event and were there to serve to guests.The owners were very nice to deal with. So glad the North Davidson County area offers a quality event venue like this!

It was my first time there and I lived all the outdoor seating areas however the fact that I could not get a glass of rose because it wasnt open didnt impress me at all.

This place sells my favorite wine in the world, Rooster Black. My wife & I will drive 2 hrs to buy a case because it’s so good. The staff are super friendly and the venue is quiet and peaceful.

A great stop for quality, sipable wines. Nothing blow you away but everything really good, which we have not found to be true at other places. Nice atmosphere, lots of outdoor space to sip and socialize.

Great place. We didnt tour just did wine tasting. The young lady explained things well and was very attentive. Great experience. You have to buy your own crackers and cheese but it was worth it.

We have always enjoyed the activities that we have attended at the winery. We have also enjoyed the wines we purchased from the winery. The blends are a favorite of mine.

This one of the jewels of North Carolina Vineyard and wineries! It is both classy and comfortable. The people are very knowledgeable and friendly. You can sit inside at a table or outside enjoying the scenic working vineyard. You wont be sorry you stopped here. Prices are very reasonable.

This is a must stop destination if your in the Lexington-Winston Salem area. Inviting, relaxed, southern hospitality all the way. The product, youll just have to taste it for yourself. Try the wine tasting and youll end up with a case. Flying, no problem they ship! My whole family love their wines from the locals to the northerners. I personally love the fruit wines in the summer and the speciality wines in the winter. And no, Im not a relative or paid to say this, I just love the product and its a nice way to spend some time. It truly is a experience.I wish all the Weathervane folks only the best!

Great Mom and Pop winery off the beaten path. Dog friendly and easy breezy way of life. The tastings poured are small, but a lot of variety and background given on each. Truly a relaxed atmosphere that appeals to people of all ages.

I was first introduced to Weathervane wines at the Yadkinville wine festival. At that time it could not be shipped to Ohio so I came to NC each year to get my supply. Im so glad they can ship it to me now! My favorites are Rooster Red and Rooster Black!

By far one of the best vineyards I’ve ever been to. They are my go to vineyard and there is always some in my wine racks. The vineyard is beautiful, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable and the wine is to die for. An absolute must visit.

The food and entertainment were good but you must improve your AC system in the dining/playhouse area. We appreciate air in the summer but we were cold and miserable. I had a thin sweater but wore sandals and my feet were freezing. My husband didn’t have a jacket and had to keep running outside to warm up. Many others around us went back to their cars to get jackets, quilts, stadium blankets, etc. There must be a way to cool this area more evenly without freezing your guests.Response to your reply: We did speak to the gentleman in the green shirt, and 2 other staff in black tshirts who said you were working on it.

Everyone is very nice and a fun place to be, love your gift store and tee shirts. Your wine tastes better than other wineries I’ve been to. Keep it up will certainly be back.

We visit the winery often and enjoy the wine and the low key atmosphere. It is close to our home and we are case club members so we enjoy our complimentary glasses of wine. We are welcomed and greeted by the owners which makes us feel like we are at home there. Over the last year, our family members have also joined us many times and had great experiences. We enjoy all the different musicians and food trucks. Great outdoor venue.

AUG 2017 We went back again. This time brought friends. Same great musician was playing and singing. Made for a lovely Sunday break for 30 minutes sipping a glass of tropical white wine in courtyard. Lovely! JUNE 2017 We went for a Sunday afternoon wine tasting and to hear a guitarist play in the patio. Lovely music, nice employees, and DELICIOUS sweet wine options. We will be back with a group of friends this summer. Fun!

The owners/workers behind the counter are always very nice and generous with wine samples. The selection of wines is very good.

Great wines for all palates, the wine club is a phenomenal deal, ours has paid for itself in a month! They do charge a cover for almost every event. Overall 5 stars.

We sampled the wine at the xmas show in Charlotte a while back but havent been able to get to the vinyard until today. The wines are excellent. We did a tasting of the summer fruit wines and loved the Peach though the Reisling was very nice. The staff was very accommodating even though we were there near closing. I highly recommend stopping by for the wine,ambiance and overall presentation

My husband and I celebrated a late Valentines Day by going to the Dinner Theatre at the Weathervane Winery. I dont know when I have laughed so much; the play was wonderful. The employees were especially nice. The dinner was great as was the bottle of Rooster Red wine we drank with our meal. I can hardly wait for the summer music program to starts back.

Their fruity wines (Peach, Strawberry, Blackeberry) are the best! Affordable tasting $7.50 and includes a nice glass! 5 Stars!

We come here a couple times a year, the embers is a good show. If you like sweet wine, the placid peach is amazing, super sweet aroma and no alcohol taste. Great little venue local to the welcome community.

Been here a few times, once was in the summertime when they had a outdoor concert, which was tons of fun! Another just recently, sit back and relax on some outside seating and drink a few glasses. Both of us love the sweet fruit wines and some of the seasonal ones they offer.

I Discovered Weathervane Winery at The North Carolina Muscadine Wine Festival. The Weathervane Wines were The Best I have ever Tasted. Wine Tasting is Subjective. Everyone has their own opinions but out of the Thirty or so Wineries at the Festival, I/We found Weathervane to be the absolute Best based on Taste, Aroma, Lightness (meaning that it didn’t sit heavy after consuming), Alcohol content, Fresh Crispness And No Bite or Bitter Aftertaste. They have various selections based on your preferences and vary between Light White to a Full Bodied Red And Bold selections. I make it to Weathervane Winery perhaps Six or Eight Times a year as they have Seasonal Wines which have a Limited Production. Blushing Santa & Santa Sweetie for Christmas Wines, Stormy Passion for Valentines Day, A Crisp Light Green Apple Dew for Summer and various options all year Long. My personal favorites are #1.) Rooster Black #2.) Rooster Red #3.) Strawberry Breeze. However Evening Breeze, Sweet Mountain Bliss, Blue Norther & Placid Peach Are also Favorites! They have Sweet, Semi-Sweet & Dry Wines. Although My Favorites are of the Sweet & Semi-Sweet Varieties. They are Fresh & Crisp rather than Sickly Sweet. The Winery hosts Special Events, Music & Weddings. Definitely worth the 100 mile Drive for me to Visit. You won’t be Disappointed! Five Star Winery. Best in North Carolina!

I really like the sweet wines at Weathervane Winery. The atmosphere s nice and relaxing, you can bring a picnic lunch if you choose to have with your wine. There is no attitude here...my favorite part of all!

We had a very nice visit to Weathervane. The tasting room is very nice with a nice sitting area, the day we were there it was a little cool, but there looked to be a very nice outdoor area, will differently visit again so we can check it out. They had a very taste warm spiced wine, that was nice on a cool day.

My family has been visiting this winery for years and we have always been pleased with the wine variety and atmosphere. My husband and I recently got married at Weathervane in April - we chose the location because it is beautiful, has an outdoor space and an indoor event space, and the staff is incredibly kind, helpful, and hospitable. The day was perfect, and everything about the venue was incredible. The event space has plenty of space for tables - the venue has tables and chairs to use. There is a kitchen for the caterer, a DJ they recommended (we paid for him, but he was EXCELLENT), and 2 rooms for the bridal parties to get ready. If we were to get married again, we would do it at the same place. And we will continue to come back for the excellent wine! Thank you, Weathervane!

Wonderful place to visit, especially during the summer. Very attractive setting, wonderful staff and neighbors, and good music and parties on occasion.Not a particular fan of red wines, but they have some decent ones.Definitely worth paying a visit.
