First time out to Finch Park. Nice bike trails and pond. Great place to walk your dog!

Finch park is a great place. I personally love to ride my mountain bike there. The guys have been working diligently to make this a better place. Plus it’s one of the closest places to go ride between Lexington to High Point. The other facilities they provide are great as well. Nice park and highly recommended!

Nice mountain bike trail. Not terribly challenging but fun to put down some laps on if youre in the area.

Finch Park is very clean and it has bike trails as well as various other venues. There are ball fields as well as walking paths and a pond. It is quite so you can enjoy nature and read a book.

This is a great park. Bike/hike, play ball, fish, playground. Our family enjoys our time there every time we go.

Me and my grandson love going to Finch Park! We usually take our lunch and eat at the gazebo and then walk around the pond. He loves feeding the ducks and seeing the turtles. The trails are clean and well maintained.

Finch Park has really stepped up their game!! We had a beautiful time with the kids. We didnt feel as if we had to keep them chained to us. They were able to run and play pretty freely.

Peaceful . Due to covid the little kids play areas are fenced off so not much for tots now. Nice walking trails but use bug spray .

Fishing was slow but I enjoyed the tranquility. Had to rig weedless to avoid all the vegetation in the lake. Did not try the creek today...maybe another day.

My kids and I definitely enjoy the swings and the dock they enjoy themselves when we go and its such a great place for pictures.

I love the park. Just wish they would keep the park open just a little bit long on warmer days. It wouldnt hurt to add a few more things for kids to play on. I remember as a kid they had more.

I was here with my boyfriend on saturday and we had a picnic lunch and a walk around the pond and it was a very enjoyable park and all the workers were very respectful and amazing.

The boys had so much fun at Finch Park. They got to walk around the Lake, see some fish, turtles and a squirrel, swing on the swings, play on the play ground, and watch some people play ball. We had a little picnic and shared our bread.

A great place for a birthday party and to just spend the day with the kids.

Great park not as big as I thought it would be. Very quiet park. Was a great park just was very skeptical about going with the police sitting in the parking lot so made me feel like crime happens there a lot which I hope is not the case.

I go there riding Mountain Bike trails with friends and the trails are in great shape. The trail team does an exceptional job keeping them up and making improvements.

A above average play area for kids. Pavilions to sit and have lunch so as long as they are not reserved. Could have a few more benches around the lake.

Always a good place to visit whether its a family gathering or a company outing. Or to just walk through the woods in peace with your thoughts.

Over crowded. Out dated...not sure if a small family of 4 or less can enjoy it due to the ymca dropping off 50 plus kids at a time.

Love this park and the pond

Nice park overall with nice play areas. Most picinic shelters are dirty and smelly. Typically park employees(ranger haha) just sit in office connect to a run down dity concession stand. It would be nice if they could get the bathrooms cleaned at least once a week(should be daily or even 2 times a day) instead of sitting on their behinds watching TV and listening to music in that office.

Theres really nothing new to do as far as children. The equipment thats there now I played on when I grew up. Theres not even benches around the fishing pond. WOW. That should have gotten someones attention 20 years ago

I love this place

This is a great place to spend time with family and friends. Kids can run and play on the playground and theres a big swing set. A basketball court, soccer field, andree baseball fields can be found here. Theres a pond where ducks and geese can be found during the warmer months. And for the more adventurous people, theres a few trails to hike. One of the trails lead to a small waterfall. Its a nice park for the whole family.

Good place to take your family to play swing or take a nice walk

This place is perfect for the family, or just to relax by yourself. Theres a basketball court, multiple baseball fields, a soccer field, a large playground and a smaller one, a pond for both duck feeding and fishing, many trails through the woods for walks and hiking.

Needs UPDATING - definitely more play equipment (Ex.. Swings).. Having a large number of schools / daycares / groups & families that are attempting to use the park at same time makes it difficult to use equipment currently there.Updating with other options for OLDER elementary age kids such as Mini golf-putt-putt.. Few paddle boats - Splash pads -On several attempts to take kids to play there were so many other groups of kids standing waiting to get on play equipment.

I come here all the time with my family and hike on the paths in the wooded area, we enjoy our selves here...

Finch Park was great. Celebrated my granddaughters birthday there. Kids were able to play on the playground.

Wonderful park, with so much to offer everyone. My grandchildren love going and talk about Nicholas park all week, til we go again!!!

Nice and Relaxing

My dog King Loves to play in the water & at the playground when there nobody playing on it. Its a great park to have fun lots of stuff to do. Go fishing,walk tracks, or play baseball, basketball. Or just have a picnic.

Nice park for a variety of activities. We had a great trail walk with the dogs. Thanks for keeping it up so well. Our furry kids appreciate it (as do we!).

Rode the Mt biking trail and liked it. Its about three miles long. I ride it three times. The area has potential. Good workout

Great place to enjoy family and friends. They have walking trails, biking trails, playground, baseball and soccer fields and a pond. Plan a whole day for this place.

Great park nice facilities

Finch Park, is a wonderful mountain bike venue. It is unique, and it takes a week to dry out. Probably some of the best high speed action. It is my fav.

The park itself seems great. Was the first time we had been to the park since moving to Lexington. Drug deals going down in the parking lot in front of the playground.....not cool. The dealer was an older man too....and the ones buying it from him had kids in the car! So messed up! We left immediately and I will not be back.

Could use an update. Its a fun place to take my son but there isnt as much activity wise as there used to be. The bathrooms are horrendous

Finch is the largest park in Lexington with ample parking. There is a multicultural festival here once a year in the Spring and there are baseball fields and soccer fields. There are restrooms near the swings, picnic shelters, and the main playground. There is a band shell and stage for outdoor concerts, a pond, and walking trails. There is a smaller set of playground equipment for younger kids with more picnic shelters near the pond.

Great place to take your children they have a lot to do their. Taking my daughter there today.

I took the 3 grandchildren to this park for play.There were several families around and a covered picnic area #2 near by. It was very hot so that equipment was hot to the touch. That being the case, a closer waterfountain is a necessity. There was not a close one, so we left since children were flushed, sweaty and dehydrated. Other wise, I only saw a small section of the park and it was decent.

New and improved mountain bike trails are a lot of fun!

Beautiful place!!

Lots of space, huge playgrounds designed for kids of all ages, shelter areas, and SHADE! Especially with summer beginning soon, shade is a must. My daughters had a blast here. We will be back soon, I hope.
