Nice area. not really a park, a wetland with some nice little trails. but not a lot of trails. its more for the preservation and less for people. has a huge amount of cover for birds and other animals and the boy do they really need it to survive.
Set your expectations low and you may be content. Some will see some slightly scruffy woods and a swamp. Others will be happy to get away from the cars and listen to the birds.
Loved the old machinery and how an important part of manufacturing in New England was preserved.
Great location for a walk in the woods to get away from it all.
Came upon a beautiful meadow view here while biking on the Minuteman Commuter Bikeway. Such a beautiful resource for the area.
Very nice local conservation area with good views of the marsh.
Not a very well kept trail
A real local treasure! Great spots for bird watching. Or just walking. Easy access from the Minuteman Trail for bike access. (Please leave your bike and walk the trails.)
Right off the Minuteman Bike path
The sunlight on the marsh is beautiful. My secret getaway!
Immense grounds, great for walking the dog.
Beautiful place to take a walk, run or bike ride.
Great place for a walk with your dog!
Well maintained trails for nice nature walks. Mostly quiet with some bikes, dogs, and walkers.
Very few people
Beautiful Meadow, Everyone should visit there to enjoy all the beauty...
Great piece of nature. Wonderful to walk through the trails
If you start on the south end of loop the trail peters out about 3/4 the way through but perservere and you will make the whole loop; advise keeping your phone with you to keep the blue dot on the red line!
Love it! Natural Wild Life. My German Shepherd puppy it there!
Some great nature walks just off of the Minuteman bike path. I have visited a few times and each time there werent many people on the trails. The trails are fairly short and easy, but it is nice to have access to the nature in such proximity to the downtown Lexington.
This is an awesome place, i have see deer, foxes, coyotes & snapping turtles nesting. Great place!!
Beautiful walking area
Great place for easy to moderate hiking. Connects to Minuteman Bikeway between Maple St and Fottler Rd. Also incorporated into Across Lexington C and D trails. Popular for exercise, birding, dog walking. Can be muddy with leftover ice in spring. Boardwalks installed over swampy places.
True gem. BUT not wheelchair or stroller accessible
Beautiful place for a walk!
Nice place for neighborhood backcountry skiing, when snow comes to us.
Great place for walks and trail runs. Typically pretty quite with all sorts of scenic views.
