A good place for kids to play as there is a good play area. The shaded place to eat food is really nice. This place can be reserved as well. Once we had our food there and cleaned up, the caretaker came, cleaned up the place properly.Enough parking space for around 20.
Went there for the first time yesterday. My kids are in love with it! It has plenty of shade to stand and/or sit while the kids play. The teeter totter thingy is so awesome my daughter did not want to get off. They played on the baseball field and ran around until they actually said they were tired and wanted some water!!
Stop there to take small break and eat some lunch very scenic Im very enjoyable experience especially after it rained recommended highly specialized family-oriented activities
Nice covered area with tables for eating and has a decent sized play ground for small children
Lovely rentable pavilion, the grounds were clean, it wasnt too crowded.
Nice area to relax and walk a dog. Has a couple picnic tables. Parking on the street is nearby. No play equipment here for kids, you have to go West for that, parking in the parking lot
Great park for smaller kids.
Currently a lot of construction going on at this park (6/25/20). A small portion of the park with a covered picnic area is still available.
Nice wide open area, ball field and play area, shaded pavilion
A nice, tranquil spot in Leesburg. Not a ton to do, but a good park if you are looking for a good picnic spot or place to read a book.
Small but useful. Nice tables and lots of parking
Great playground esp for younger kids. Has swings. Fun hedgerows that the kids can sneak through. Theres a covered picnic area, that also has a large grill under the shelter - you can reserve this through Ida Lee (for a price), but if its available, you can just use it. Large grassy running area and a baseball diamond and basketball hardtop. NO RESTROOMS! :-(
Went to walk it just doesnt have a restroom only a portapotty
Great spot for a picnic close in to town. Has a picnic pavilion (that can be reserved), ball fields, some shady areas, and a kids playground. The bathroom facilities are not always unlocked. Nice area.
Fun park, too crowded
This a great park for kids, a picnic, or just taking a stroll. There are two sections of the park. One is a passive section adjacent to the W&OD with a path and stream and the other section has a ball field, pavilion, and playground. We love it!
Small clean and not crowded. Great park.
Great bike trail to ride around. Playground for kids 3-12. Well kept basketball hoop (singular).
Great price (free) and they recently put in new playground equipment. Its quite a lot of fun. Took a 2 1/2 year old & a 5 year old. They really liked it.
Very nice park with toddler playground. It has a lot of shade
Great park, but no public restroom. Taking toddlers to a portapotty is the stuff of nightmares.
Nice place to enjoy some time with your family
Comfortable place to walk a dog.
Great park, nice field, area for grilling and parties, and porta potty was clean.
Love this park. Playground, shelter, softball field, walking trails. Very nice.
This is a good park to hang out with the kids, or to have a party. There is a nice pavilion with a grill. The playground is decent sized as well.
Its a nice park but theres no shade at the playground and there are no backs on the benches.
There are actually two parts to this park. The Eastern part had the baseball diamond and playgrounds, which is great for kids from 2-12. There is also a covered barbeque area that you can reserve. The park has a nice mix of shade trees and lawn, perfect for impromptu picnics.
Nice community park. Small pavilion and playground.
Great for kids of all ages, lots to do. Excellent for parties.
Open, usable facility with a broad range of age appropriate equipment for large groups with children.
Nice local park. Great for picnics.
Very nice park. The play areas can get crowded, but my 2 year old loves them.
Nice area to walk around.
Nice playground and easy access to bike trail.
