Wonderful experience. Im a registered nurse that traveled during the pandemic and received an appreciative essential worker upgrade and great big thank you during check in. I am honored and extremely grateful. We played in the Casino, both tables and slots and had a great time. I especially enjoyed the coffee place, best coffee I have had since traveling to Costa Rica. I would highly recommend the D and we will be back! Thanks for a great stay I feel refreshed and ready to rock this COVID some more!

Great hotel on Fremont street. The rooms were clean and no complaints on the price. Through every entrance there is a mandatory temp Check and mask required. Mask and sanitizer at every door. Room service doesn’t enter room unless called. Good practice of cleaning daily by the crew on all floors. Kudos.

The wife and I always like to visit The D when on Fremont. It has a very fun atmosphere and seem more like a party than a casino. The main bar is huge and there is also a smaller bar upstairs. They are checking temperatures and IDs at entry. We had an opportunity to visit one of the rooms this time and it was a standard hotel room. Nothing out of the ordinary to speak of but nice and clean. The elevators are controlled and that was nice to see.The self-park garage leaves something to be desired as it is cramped and a tight squeeze. Valet may be the way to go if you are taking a larger vehicle. The casino itself has a lot of options for gaming and they do keep the party atmosphere alive for sure. The table games were well spaced out and they do keep people from congregating too much. The slots were also well spaced and the waitstaff there is very attentive.Over all impressions are always good at The D. If we ever decide to stay on Fremont, this will definitely be on our list of places to look into more.

This was my first visit to Las Vegas. I was happy with the price of the room. The rooms are at a minimum no fridge, microwave, or other common amenities. Rooms were clean the Casino was open 25hrs and the staff would clean their sections frequently. Almost ever 15 min or so. I played Craps, and Roulette and the dice were cleaned ever time the was a new shooter, roller. The location is on Fremont so it was an awesome experience to just walk straight out of the Hotel to any other establishments or Casinos. I wish I had the names of the staff at the craps table. Their entertainment value alone was worth it.

The D looks like a really great hotel all the way around except the rooms, yeah the rooms will remind you that youre in the old part of Vegas, their is nothing exciting about the beds and the room will take you back in time (with the exception of the bathroom/shower, that is updated)The area is the reason to book a room here, everything in this part of town is easy walking distance. Also note, the other reviews are accurate when it comes to noise levels, even on the top 34th floor, we could hear outside noise when trying to sleep, that is common for this area and unfortunately something youll have to deal with at any other Hotel/Casino near Freemont.I wouldnt say this is the best place for families, more so for couples.

The D is such a welcoming hotel and casino. The casino host make it feel like a small town community. Thank you to Tyler and Cameron. And to top it off - a sports lovers dream - The Stadium Swim at Circa was amazing. We went Saturday and Sunday and I will be going back again next Sunday! I totally feel the Michigan vibe! Well Done!

1st off allow me to be very clear check in would have been great had it not been for security escorting people they knew to the front of the check in line while everyone else stood and waited for 20 to 30 minutes then when it was time to go into the elevator the same security guard had the audacity to asked to see my room key but never asked several people that were in front of us for there’s. So of course that was very bothersome Mr Ben Austen. You need to have better customer service and do your job better then showing favoritism.

Although the stay was good. We parked in the self parking garage. We forgot to ask for a validation parking since there is a charge for the parking garage unless you stay at the hotel. Even though we forgot to mention that we did self parking. I feel that the front desk shouldve ask me if I park in the garage so they could validate. Upon paying 20 dollars to get out if the garage we called the hotel to see if they could credit the 20 to our credit card. They said, they could not because they dont have anything to do with the garage. Not sure if I would stay again for the simple reason. Its only 20 dollars but its the principle of the matter.

For the price I was very impressed. I thought I was going to see the quality of a super 8 but the rooms were remodeled not too long ago and they are well kept. Simple, but clean and well kept. Inside of the hotel and casino are nice as well. Rooms are normal size. I was satisfied.

The rooms could be better for the price. The view is nice and it’s easy to walk down and your right on Fremont. No tub & the showers don’t have doors to close so the floor gets wet easily and they don’t have bathroom rugs so you could easily slip and fall. The housekeepers are slow. I left my room early in the morning about 10am and came back around 6pm the housekeeper still didn’t get to my room to refresh towels, toilet paper stuff etc. I was tired and when I went out and asked her if she was almost to my room she said she couldn’t enter and refresh anything since I’m in the room. They should hire more housekeepers. So she didn’t come in and clean just gave me stuff and made me bring anything used and throw it on her cart. The employees at the elevator and front doors are rude.. Valet included for free if you stay there and Coney Island was good.. Also waiters around the casino take forever to bring your drinks, you guys should hire more.

When you look good, you feel good and when you feel good. People go to Vegas to spend money so the least they could do is provide a shower door.... I wish I had snapped a photo. The shower only has a glass slab that covers had the shower and the glass slab has a hole cut out in order to reach the knob and turn the shower on before getting in. I can’t imagine that adding the other half of the glass slab along with some hinges and a handle would have been much more expensive. Other than that, this is your basic downtown Las Vegas hotel/casino.

Great experience! Always had clean fresh towels daily! Made-up bed only downfall is you cant go to your room without your hotel key and someone has to let you pass to get to the elevator...not getting thru without a key ..,but it keeps people out that dont belong. Didnt spend much time in the room ..just to sleep and shower!! A gamble we will go!!!!

We didnt actually stay at the hotel but we went to the casino and had some drinks. You can not go up to any bars to order. You must sit at a table and order drinks. No problem, we order drinks, our waitress was sweet and got us all our drinks. It was a great experience. The only strange thing was the way they check your temperature when you enter their establishment. You have to walk through what looks like a metal detector and put your wrist up to this little green dot. It doesnt do anything to do you, it just feels strange.

Super COVID aware if you’re woke, otherwise practicing safety through security if you’re normal. Great location on Fremont. A simple walk up and down the Fremont Experience. Stayed in a King corner room with ok views. Wasn’t there for the room views. The shower was very spacious... more than enough room for one person. Would stay again! Look into the mil/LEO/first responders discount if eligible.

For our 1st time staying on Fremont St, the convenience of everything being in walking distance was great. The Premium King room was clean but had this odor which maybhave been the cleaning products used. Taken care of with a small air freshener on the air-conditioner. The view was good. Due to COVID-19 no there was no room service but provided what we needed with a simple call. Liked that they checked keycards before going up the elevator to the rooms. This eliminates people just wondering around the floors. All in all it was a great time and would stay here again. Its not where you stay, what you do, or how you do it. What makes it a great time is who your with. Id rate The D a 4.5.

We had a great time at The D! Everything was ran smoothly at the elevators and they showed up fast for when you needed them. So glad to have stayed at The D for our first trip back to Vegas since it reopened. They made sure to set up proper screening stations at every entrance and all staff members were on top of enforcing wearing of the masks. There were also an attendant at all elevator entrances to push the floor number buttons to keep the flow of traffic moving at all times. When playing at the casino machines they were cleaned in between every use and had every other one(or more in some cases) closed down to maintain social distancing as much as possible while allowing you to still enjoy yourself! Overall, we had an exceptional time and even extended our stay! Hands down love staying here. Thanks to The D for the great time

No Central Air! They have the old school AC units in each room but the rooms are so big and they AC only goes down an average temperature to 72 degrees that the room never really circulate cold air. I had to move the bed over to the unit on the other side of the room to feel anything ! Service was pretty slow too when I asked for new sheets it took about two hours to get there after three phone calls to the front desk. Not a bad place at all just slacking a little in some departments. The Beds are really nice and the bathrooms are gorgeous! The D is definitely a hip spot to go to on Fremont maybe not the best place to stay. Theyre cutting corners maybe a little too much?

I agreed to this and was told the earlier I arrive, the better chance I will have of getting a 15th floor room. I clarified 3 times that this was the correct information. Upon arrival, I was told that only floors 3 and 4 are smoking. They basically said, oops, nothing we can do. The casino floor, rooms and everything in between is always clean. Considering how many humans move in and out of this casino, they do a great job. Room comps, points for gaming, food and beverage credit is more than fair, in my experience with this anyways.
