Wonderful time! Room was clean and comfortable!!! Staff were very accommodating and friendly. Had a great time gambling and the restaurant and food choices were also great!!!They had special procedures due to the pandemic, which I appreciated. Distances and face masks etc was in place and it appeared everyone complied without problems. They also had a policy whereas if you didnt use housekeeping in two days, a wellness check was done. A manager and police officer came to our room to make sure everything was ok. Generally when I travel and stay more than 2 days, I dont use housekeeping but call if I need anything.Thank you Fremont and our Host, Ingrid for a safe and fun stay. Well be back for New Years!!!
All Arizona and Nevada casinos need to put a notice up Due to Covid, we are ignoring Federal Guidelines concerning payout percentages. Because just like the rest Fremont Casino is simply not paying even a little on their slots.
Positive: Location and parking Negative: Did not know room cleaning was suspended during pandemic.
Positive: location Negative: The room was tiny and old
An original. Do not expect the glitz and glam of the Strip, but it is arguably more entertaining! Freemont Street is an experience not to be missed, and the centerpiece of it all is here. It also hosts Tony Romas, which has late dining specials even locals can appreciate.
Positive: Nothing Negative: Old, smelly, dirty, worn out! Pictures are not even close to reality. AVOID THE FREMONT!!!!
Gotta go tony romas. 11.99 steak n lobster. Make reservations. 9pm-11pm. Lots of games slots n table.
Weve been to Vegas 3 times in the last 5 yrs & have always stayed at the Fremont. Was very disappointed with this stay. Maybe its covid related but the rooms were really subpar. Was suppose to have a fridge in the room & didnt. The tv didnt work the 1st night, had to have someone fix on day 2. The room was always warm, the air ran the whole time & didnt put out cool air. The WiFi didnt immediately work, had to call the desk to get fixed. The light didnt work. Some of these items should be checked between guests but obviously werent. Makes me wonder what else isnt being checked. Pretty sure we will book elsewhere next time.
Havent been here for iver a decade. Decided to stop in on a fluke and won an enjoyable amount of money off $20 in a short short period of time. Will go back
Positive: The location was ideal. Negative: The hotel is very outdated and the rooms are not very nice. Did not look as it was in the pictures.
This place is amazing.. its plain rooms but really comfortable!! the staff was awesome super friendly.. I would definitely stay here again thank you for everything!! You made our stay very pleasant
After having a horrible experience at the don riverside casino we called made reservations and drove out to Vegas.. the Fremont hotel & casino was wayyyy better then where we were at.. it was a transformation!! got to our room and kncoked out!! it was a little cozy room right off the fremont experience walkway a bit loud but the room was excellent!! even though its not the strip downtown has always been a good place to stay.. enjoy coming to stay out here!
Not a bad experience, only played at casino. Since I didnt stay there it would be unfair to give a good or bad review review of the property as a whole. Casino was fun and drinks were good.
Positive: Friendly and helpful staff
Honestly, this trip to Vegas, the only thing we did at the Freemont was eat. No particular reason, its just what happened - we enjoy the Freemont. The Paradise Cafe serves a great breakfast for a reasonable price. And if youre in the mood for a great hot dog, the Lanai grill has a dog and drink combo for $3.99. Its the best hot dog downtown.
Negative: The bed was uncomfortable, everything in the room seemed very old. The tub did not drain well.
I love it we love it so much I enjoy it a lot in there we have so much fun definitely I would love to come back I hope when I come back they have better service because I would like to have my drinks in there more often not waiting so long but they really really really need to work on more personal because you have to wait long time long long time to have one drink not mentioning forget it about you second drinkthe food was good really amazing Deelishis
This casino was busy. The entire place was spotless though. We ate at the cafe in the back. Food and service was great. We brought back food because there portions were so big.
Temp checks as you enter! See staff wiping machines down. More players in here. All were very pleasant.
The location is awesomeness! The Las Vegas Strip! Great customer service. I will definitely be back soon!
Positive: They returned a wedding ring we left in the room. Very cool Negative: Hotel was great
Covid impact. No Buffet, table service only. 20 min wait for breakfast, kitchen service time impacted.11/6/2020 Edit: Id like to clarify. The Cal is doing everything it can to abide by Covid rules and stop the spread of this terrible virus. Staff is helpful, casino and rooms are cleaned constantly. The rest of Las Vegas is doing the same from my experience over the 5 days I was there. I only meant for visitors to be prepared that things are much different than previous visits so be patient and manage your expectations. Many restaurants are closed as are many attractions. There is still fun to be had, just at a slower pace. I will be back!!
Very fun and packed plenty of things to do for the kids love the light show overall great experience will be coming back
Such a cool place. We gambled while waiting for our table at Tony Romas. Fremont is a great place to visit while you are in Las Vegas
Positive: Negative:
Positive: The Location
Enjoyed a tasty 99 cent tiny shrimps cocktail, clean but cigarette smell
Nice place to gamble didnt stay at the hotel, but the casino and workers were nice.
Only place weve gone that does temp checks which is nice. It is beautifully lit up and lots to do.
When to the freemont to park and gamble. We had a terrific time. But was the best was The Fremont experience . Totally Assome time. Truly had experience watching the the show and all the other entertainment. Its a must do arleast one evening.
Loud, smells like weed, and people constantly harass you for random things. Not as cool as it was 10 years ago. Parking lot smells like pee. I dont know prbly just me but I dont enjoy the street performers. I like the strip better. The light show is cool tho. And theres a tony romas. Casinos are casinos. Theres about 700 of them xd
Amazing great place to be a theres friendly nice and worth the time as well as the money spent on this casino hotel give them tips theyre great also this is Harley Quinn dressed like Harley Quinn so be nice to me I will re write this review with one star this and trust me when I say I have 5000 following me
Fun time at the Fremont.Cant wait to go back once things get back to normal.
If you like bourbon st in new Orleans then youll love fremont strip
Its getting better but they still need to do updates to the hotel and casino.
Downtown Vegas at its finest! Awesome staff, great location, clean rooms, and a winning casino! Throw in Tony Romas and a Dunkin on site and you have yourself an awesome venue!!! Keep up the great work!
First time in Vegas, I went to the Bar on 11/24 at noon..i was told by the bar tender I cannot sit at the bar for a drink unless I am playing even though no one at the bar...one of their security who was watching the The whole situation recommend the GRAND hotel and casino saying their bar is open to all..and he was right...in response to the owner : why we are allowed to sit at a bar at any casino but not at your Establishment?
Great table games. Single deck blackjack at $5. Good prime rib deal in the tony romas inside.
We always stay here when we stay downtown and its always been pretty great. However, this time, we booked and there was no mention of the pool not being open. Part of the reason we came here on vacation was to spend time by the pool. I understand with everything that is going on, there are a lot of issues but I would have booked somewhere else had I known that their pool wasnt open. Over $300 for a vacation that wont include a big part of the trip is rather annoying.
Great hotel &casino lots of fun cant wait to spend another weekend here
I liked the casino and appreciated the way they were screening and sanitizing for Covid-19.
Best place to b in Las vegas! Great music awesome light show not as comercial as the strip
One of the few places left where you still get that feeling of Old Las Vegas. Stay away from the Wheel of Fortune slots though
Very cleanThe best customer serviceThe only thing they have to easy on house keeping crew they really do a great job. please be nice to them
Their buffet is the best for the value in downtown Vegas!! Only $10.99 folks!! Includes beverage and yummy desserts too!! (The only place I ever found that makes baby Eclairs the way my German Father used to make from Memory!! Yum!!! ) and Napoleons too!! Waitresses are extremely a joy!! Stopped twice on recent trip!!
Awesome sauce. It just as I remembered it. And the slots were not as stingy as usual.
Nice casino. Older casino but lots of newer slots.
Its always fun on fremont street and it was not a lot of people like there has been but they where wearing mask.
Always bring my visiting relatives to Fremont Experience & always visit the Fremont Casino; like the atmosphere in the cafe/buffet area; good mix of gambling machines; casino was following guidelines for covid-19; always get a little hit on the machines; I like this casino!
It was pleasurable experience and enjoy playing with the Cleopatra penny keno.
Cool ol skool casino great 24 hour food spot luv it!!
Courteous staff, variety of games limited. Food just okay.
Rooms walls all chipped and cracked. Tv doesnt work well. Its a good place to sleep if you sleep at all while your in vegas
The staff is so nice and helpfulthe dealers are helpful I learned to play a few new games when I was there they made the learning fun and you could not help but enjoy yourself.
Fun place to get drunk... but now Im pregnant so i cant drink but I still had fun!
The staff, for the most part, was friendly and helpful. The rooms, while older and small, were comfortable enough. The location was excellent, especially if you enjoy the light shows and various live music acts on Fremont Street. Food options were good, and there was a wide assortment of slots in the casino. Yes, there were some small cosmetic flaws. The wallpaper in the bathroom was peeling a bit, and the toilet and shower werent brand new (there were small chips in the porcelain.) These things did not bother us, but some people might find them offputting. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay.
Ive never stayed at the hotel, but I always gamble here. This is the cheapest place to buy drinks and gamble on fremont street. The staff and environment are laid back. The property provides a very enjoyable experience.
Well it was real good luck for my sister. She won on two different machines. I didnt have any luck but it was fun.
The slots were very tight but the rooms were very nice the food and the cafe is great and I love the Tony Romas
A nice hotel if you want to be near downtown las
One of the bigger Boyd gaming properties in town, it has some good food options like a Dunkin Donuts, a Chinese food restaurant among its options. The prices of the tables games are fair and the drink prices are decent. Recommended for those who want a casino with decent pricing.
I love it here a peice of old vegas
Stayed here couple times in the summer good eats good tables nice bars. Bigggg problem with the AiR . Way too HOT never gets cool in the room. Have to call maintenance when I get there. Decided not to stay there last year for that reason. Still pending where to stay next month.
I like the people i work to, the busy place and it makes my working time fast.
Having to be scanned just to get in is unnecessary and an invasion of privacy. To the reply of the casino: its not enhanced security measure, how does taking one mask off so my face can get scanned considered a safety measure? Are yall gonna contact me if someone tests positive on the same day I was there? How would you know?
Live keno is pretty great - Sandy is super friendly and helpful.
Positive: The staff Negative: Everything else
There is always plenty to see on Freemont. The food drinks and gambling are truly authentic. Wish the zip line was open but maybe soon. We will be back love this place.
Busy..great drinks for a great price..food is good and also priced very well..
Fun inside but we had no luck.
The iconic Fremont Casino is beautiful and a fun place to play . Located in the middle of Fremont street across from 4 queen. Tony Romas inside is one of my favorite place to eat. they have great prices and the food is amazing try the surf and turf and the prime rib. And you can definitely loose hours on the tables.
Had dinner at Tony Romas for family dinner a party of 20 all keeping distance and at separate tables. Wait staff was excellent and food was great.many thanks to Tonys for allowing us to be together but spaced
Food was delicious, very friendly service and it wasnt that expensive.
All I can say is winner winner winner ....Great place to me and very clean and safe
You can win here. Food is a little above average.
Was fun, couldnt find a roulette machine, but they could have had one idk
Review of casino only, not rooms. Older casino on Fremont Street in Downtown Las Vegas. Plenty of places to eat like Tony Romas (Prime Rib for $8.99 from 4:30-6:30 pm) and Second Street Grill (closed Monday and Tuesday) and places to grab a quick snack like Dunkin’ Donuts and Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory. Decent slots, too.
Nice rooms good places to eat and great service on the floor
I used to have a sentimental attachment to this place. We went this past week and after checking in, I wanted to leave. My beds were both very wonky and lumpy. The room was very dated, no cable and my view was the large AC units on the rooftops. The homeless population and mentally ill have invaded the Fremont street experience making it very undesirable to stay or even walk around. We checked out the next morning and got a king suite for almost the the same cost at the Venetian. My days of staying in old Vegas are over.
Great hotel..a really good steakhouse restaurant thats very forgiving on having to dress up...thankful we could wear casual clothes!Prime rib, leg of lamb, oysters, escargot, creme brulee and cheesecake...all were excellent!!!Definitely going back each trip!!!
Played some slots and ate at Tony Romas! Food was amazing!
The laini cafe has good food at a reasonable price. Had great patty melt and husband had club sandwich. For breakfast had a great steak and eggs and husband had a huge ham steak and eggs. The ham steak was thick and almost the size of the plate. Great waitress.
Had an awesome time advise everone to go.
Awesome food and the prices wont break your wallet. I feed my family of 4 for under $20.
The Fremont Casino has a large amount of gaming with that old Vegas feel to it. Located in the downtown district right on Fremont Street, this casino has it all! The Fremont Casino has a very impressive food menu with great prices.
Tony Romas is a great place to eat.
Negative: Room safe needs modernization
Ok best thing here is Tony Romas
We ordered food from there my egg rolls was shrimp but was full of cabbage. Was not impressed at all.
