Had some good times at the Imperial Palace, i believe its been rebranded now so might be different. Very basic rooms and facilities, exceptional location and great prices. Youre here because of the location and the prices really, buffet breakfast was quality, rooms were adequate, casino area was ok but there are better ones around Vegas.

The rooms were incredibly cheap and were clean. However:1. Parking garage had no spaces open and due to construction it was almost impossible to get into.2. Elevators in parking garage and in the casino were so slow with huge lines that walking the stairs is MUCH faster (location of which is not always marked). The elevators to rooms are pretty decent.3. Finding the check-in location is a little convoluted, but got lucky that there was no line, but the band was so loud that nobody could hear anything and the check-in people had to yell to be heard. LOTS of people for a Monday / Tuesday -- hate to imagine a weekend.4. At 3:00 am some drunken college kids started yelling from their balcony to a group of girls on another balcony in the opposite tower. thankfully it was only for 15 minutes before they quieted down.5. The golden moment of the stay was the fact that the room was overlooking the construction site where they started with jack hammers at 6:00 am.My recommendation is to spend $20 more and go somewhere else if you care about getting some sleep...

Isnt even called the IP anymore I think its changed names twice since being called this. But regardless the big blue roofed hotel across from Caesars is one of the best spots to stay. 1. once you figure out how to get to your room, which may be a bit confusing at first, you will find its an easy in and out hotel to get to the strip as fast as possible. Its not a super deep hotel so its about a 3 min walk out once you hit the casino floor. 2. Its always dirt cheap to be central strip and stay here. 3. They have balconies so if you want to get some fresh air most of the rooms towards the back have a great view and lots of fresh air. Ive never felt the room was dirty and I feel it covers everything you need for the trip. Ive stayed here quite a few times for as little as 18$ a day to 75$ so really not too bad if you think about it! Great spot, its worth a chance!

I personally think this is the heart of Vegas. Its iconic, historical in theme and historical in the city. The old parts blend well with the new parts of this massive complex and often the best solution to a crowd of mixed company. Caesars is always a crowd favorite.

What a Dump! They are actually in the process of demolishing (you can watch the construction crew if you want) this heap of crap and they cant do it fast enough. Since the place will be gone in a few months they dont bother doing any kind of repairs or cleaning. The carpeting throughout the entire place is deeply stained, torn, worn and stinks like a combination of smoke, skunk and body order. The room I stayed in needed so many minor repairs I could not even start to name them. Its one of those places where you feel dirty after coming out the shower. I tried to save a couple of bucks by staying here I wish I would have paid more for a better place. Other budget places I stayed at on the strip are many times better.

A cheap place to shack for a night or two, but thats it, after two nights youll wish you ponied up more for a more decent place to stay. Was talking to security and they told me that this used to be the a run off for rain water, in fact if you enter from the side entrance youll notice that the alley was built for just that, floods. The location is great though, right in the middle of the Las Vegas Strip, we were able to walk to the Forum, Bellagio, and what not.

Shower didnt drain, carpet held down with duct tape. Currently undergoing construction. Stay away from until construction is over and then possibly it may be better. Employees were very helpful and friendly.

OLD AND DIRTY! Entry is through a parking garage and is extremely inconvenient. The place needs to be torn down and redone from top down. There are so many other options, all are better choices.

It was the worst hotel ever . It doesnt look like any of the picture they post online, its dirty, the hall way smells bad. We could not find the right elevator. They need better sign that say short cut to tower one here.. it sucked that we had to walking the long way to the room when there was an elevator right near our room . We had to walk through the hall way and it stink so much . Never staying there again no matter how cheap it is .

Bottom line for this hotel... it cost us about 1/4 of anything else we found. Room was very clean and quiet. The hotel is run down but is being renovated. My guess would be that they dont want to spend money on upkeeping stuff that will soon be gone. What a nightmare finding the parking entrance!! Signage is almost nonexistent and WATCH OUT for huge speed bumps!

We checked in late at night and the only room available was incredibly loud. The crappy band kept playing hits until 3 AM. Although they were in the courtyard, it sounded like they were right outside the door. The Imperial Palace will supply you with earplugs, but they are hard, have a wire in them, and cause an earache after a few hours. We drove 30 hours and needed a quiet place to sleep, but we did not get that here. I would never recommend this place. Spend the extra $20 and go somewhere else. Also they charge $6/hour to use the internet.

If youre taking your new girlfriend to Las Vegas, maybe this shouldnt be your first choice. Now, if like me, you visit the city a lot, prefer to spend your money on food, entertainment, gambling, etc... then this could be a good choice.Due to work, I travel to Vegas solo often, and things I appreciate about IP are... Parking, Proximity to Monorail, Center of Strip Location, Affordable Rooms, Friendly Service, Low Cost Table Buy Ins.As others have mentioned, best to get food elsewhere, although Ive had good meals at the Hash House. IP buffet is horrible so skip that for sure.Ive had rooms that were great and not so great, but Ive also had rooms comped more times than I can remember, so few arguments from me on room decor. If you dont use the pool, dont need to impress anyone, dont mind eating elsewhere, can handle waiting when the elevator is slow (Ive used the stairs many times), then the plus side of staying on the strip for next to nothing looks a bit brighter.

Definitely the Red Roof Inn/Super 8 of the Casinos in Vega. Very inexpensive, and there are many reasons! It was clean and quiet (on the upper floors!), but the amenities were few and far between. Small (19) TV from probably 1990 and only about 10 cable channels (at least they had ESPN and Fox News!). Carpets and chairs were clean (vacuumed) but stained (we dont want to think about with what, but we all know!). No refrigerator of microwave. No free internet access - but you can pay $10 per day for wifi! The entire place is about 15 years overdue for a renovation! The front desk is right smack in the middle of the casino with a stage 20 feet or so away, so there is not way to hear what the people at the front desk are saying when you check in! Especially since to most of them, English is a second (or third!) language!Worst Sports Bar on the planet! I think they had an extra storage space, so they put 5 or 6 TVs and a bar in and tuned them into ESPN! Oh, none of the TVs are in direct view of the bar! Good specials there though.I will say, the Black Jack dealers and Pit Bosses were friendly and helped my nieces learn how to play. They still lost all their money, but had fun.All in all, 5 out of 10. If you dont plan on spending too much time in your room and just need a place to crash, stay here. If you want to have an awesome room and a TON of things to do right in your hotel, check out the Venetian!

This place is a real dump. A few of my friends have stayed here while visiting out of town. The only thing this place has going for it is the location (right on the Strip) and the price. Some guy once told me that every hotel is the same when youre asleep. If youre on a tight budget, give it a shot but get out when you awake.
