It was beautiful. Me and my daughter went there for the view and to ride the Big Shot. The only thing that blew my mind was how expensive it was to just go up and sit in the area where you can see the view of Las Vegas.
Swinging by for a breakfast while traveling near by, and the dim sum here was good. The presentation and the experience were great. However, this is not the dim sum place where food can be seen and picked from the dim sum pushing cart, have to be ordered through the menu. Nice place, good food and great service.
Perfect. Quiet and peaceful. Elegant. Just far enough away from the mayhem further down the strip. Run by chinese people so many guests are Asian. I prefer to stsy here when in Vegas. It has resturant, casino, spa and much more. Its only 2 years old so clean and new.
Its new and clean and very upscale. Lots of table game options, and nice selection of slot machines. The restaurants are wonderful.
The casino is CLOSED for now...the hotel appears new, friendly staff, spacious rooms with safety locker, clean bathrooms, restaurants though most preparations are chinese.....parking space is available, cabs are parked nearby....small pool which is closed after dusk.....located across the action hub of Las Vegas, therefore u may have to get a cab to travel all the time u go to a casino or watch shows....overall good value for money.....ice vending machines & beverages pay for drink machines are stationed on all floors...
Went with my family. Had a great time. The hotel rates were cheap and the rooms were awesome! Very clean and beautiful. Casino is small but the staff were very friendly. Didnt get a chance to try the food but it smelled great. Free parking.
If your appreciate hot tea in all its forms, Cha Garden is for you. The extensive menu describes each type of tea and herb available. The staff is very knowledgeable about every single tea on the menu! We ordered a very unique green tea that can only be found on a mountain in Japan. Its so quiet and private too. We took our own tea cakes since no food is offered. A must in Las Vegas!
The hotel is very nice. I stayed in this hotel for 2 days. The quality is very nice. Rooms are clean and neat. This is situated very near to the LV strip. Easy to find food options near to this hotel.
Will always stay at the Lucky Dragon when in town. This is now my new favorite place to stay.
Love this place! Amazing Asian cuisine in the night market. Great bars and gaming floor to hang out at. Very sleek and friendly staff. Has one of the first bitcoin ATMs on the strip!
What is good: price, location, big and clean rooms. What is bad: disorganization, I was there in July 2017, booked the room 1 month in advance but when I arrived there after a very exhaustive flight I had to wait for more than 1 hour in the reception, the attendant said that all of the rooms were occupied. While I was waiting a big group of Chinese nationals (about 15) arrived and got checked in right away, but I still had to wait for 30 more minutes, and just after a lot of argument the attendant found me a room.
Rooms are spacious and modern. The staff is super friendly. I would absolutely stay there again.
Enjoyed the setup and the format of the hotel nice style friendly staff lot of restaurants though
Very nice place! Had to make a last minute reservation when we arrived to Vegas and the front desk was very prompt and helpful. The room was very nice and clean. Loved the fact they has complimentary robes! Will definitely book here again.
Staff is friendly. Even though the hotel has a Chinese theme, it caters to all. The breakfast it served (from 6:30~9) is actually pretty good for a hotel that’s under bankruptcy protection. Room is very clean. Quiet. The one I stayed in is for handicap because my mom is very old. The stand-up shower has a folding seat for seniors. There’s no coffe make but a water kettle you can boil ypur own water or make your own instant coffee, also upscale Chinese tea bags are available. Furniture is contempo style, very chic. This is my new favorite hotel. Rates are cheaper compared to other similar hotels. Parking is easy and free. The casino is closed, but I dont really gamble. Hotel is within walking distance to Stratosphere if you want to gamble or play the slots. I like this location because no need to deal with strip traffic.
Hotel is nice, is a Chinese hotel. Room are spacious but the casino is always desert. It is in a middle position between the strip and Downtown so you need a bus.
I would give 5 stars if the casino and spa was open. Beautiful hotel, beautiful room. Modern, clean, thats how every standard room should look like. Comfortable bed, clean bathroom. The parking is free and easy to park too. I recommend this place, same price like stratosphere for example for a much higher standard.
Nice place, clean and quiet, no crowds, and no casino. The staff is ok, the rooms are comfortable.
The room was big, clean and new in appearance. It was also very quiet. The lobby area is contemporary and clean. The staff are friendly and efficient. Unfortunately, this hotel has no casino -- its there, but not in operation -- and no restaurant. Oddly, a room service menu is still in the room..hmm. Im not sure what went wrong with this place, but its very unfortunate. I actually feel sorry for the staff and investors, because it feels like the hotel is about to close. However, you can get a great deal while its open. Be prepared for a less polished area, as there are a lot of vagrants and sketchy people on the ground. A short walk will get you to the Duece bus stop, and this will take you to the main strip. If you can deal with the minuses in order to save some money, Lucky Dragon is a good choice.
All staff are very good but the hotels design is terrible. Valet Parking sign at the entrance but no one was there. Then we headed to the parking building and found a spot. It was 99F inside the parking building and we had to keep walking with no guide signs to elevator until we reached 3rd floor in parking building. There was still no clue to find the lobby until we met another guest and he told us what to do. We need to take the elevator to 2nd floor of parking building; then we need to cross a bridge to the opposite building; then we need to take another elevator to 1st floor. After several steps we found a small lobby, which space was occupied by a dining room by about 5/6. The clerk was very nice though. I think the pink design can be modified because this pink is a little indescribable.
Very nice room with Chinese elements, but a bath tub would make it even better. The shower gel and shampoo come from a Paris brand. Theres a swimming pool next to the lobby. Lobby is usuallys playing Chinese songs, many attendants speak Mandarin or Cantonese. The casino is in the next building, which also serves Chinese cuisine.
This was a shockingly nice place to stop in. We had just stopped in quick to pick up a $1 chip as a souvenir and ended up staying for about an hour. Very clean, very friendly staff, great free wifi and nice machines/tables to play at. If youre looking for a nice place to stay off the strip this the place.
This place was a step up from motel 6 the only good thing was the swimming pool it was clean and relaxed
Place went bankrupt in less than a year lol casino is closed down. What a sham operation.
I was very impressed. Friendly staff The rooms are gorgeous and huge. Will return in the future. Dont let the neighborhood deter you
Very large and clean rooms. Interestingly enough, my room had a red tint on the windows which was cool but will definitely cause some confusion matching color patterns. The pool area is beautifully decorated and the bathroom is clean but also very basic. Breakfast is complimentary but nothing special. The staff was friendly and the price to value were well above our expectations.A really great bargain hotel.
I was an overnight guest here and was very happy with the quality of the room considering the price. Obviously its not on the Strip but with a car it was no problem. Staff was friendly and everything was very clean. the entire first floor is basically closed at the moment due to renovations so the place definitely feels a little dead. otherwise great day. My only other complaint is the lack of a mini fridge in the room.
If you are in the city for work, Lucky Dragon is a good place to stay. Good cost-benefit, quiet, Friendly staff, 10 min by car from main hotels in strip.
Clean rooms, robes in room, complimentary water, TV, hair dryer. Limited channels, no fridge, no coffee in room, and you can hear the people in rooms next to you.Had a drink at the bar, you get complimentary house wine during certain hours for guests. Price was good service was optional. I have no clue where the kitchen is but the bartender was gone like 20 minutes getting another patron food.Pool is pretty but hours are very limited. Its a bare bones hotel. No restaurant, no spa, no casino. Parking was ample and free. Easy to access from the I95.
Its a nice and clean but tiny casino in a not-so-safe neighborhood. If you really can only speak mandarin and plan to play baccarat / ultimate th / pai gow / blackjack all day, this is the place.Pros- Its new and clean! 2 story casino makes it less smokey- Very well lit interior and looks upscale- Rooms are cheap but looks like quality. Right now they are about $45/night- Everything is written in English and Chinese- Feels very safe insideCons- This is slightly off the strip and its not safe to walk outside the casino.- The place is tiny. What you see in the pictures are pretty much it for this place- limited games. no crapsNotes- A lot of asian food choices inside, but I didnt eat there.- The clientele are mostly asians and not the americanized ones.- Once again, if you are planning to drive or take Lyft everywhere, this is a decent choice.- I saw a few other people that arrived with me and left with me 10 mins later since there wasnt much to see.
Fantastic newer, smaller hotel and casino that caters to the Asian traveler but is very good to the locals as well. Good mid week rates and very Zen in the rooms.
Great casino. Beautiful architecture. Room rates are affordable.
Its really nice and great staff
3.5 stars. I was only there for the gambling part of the casino. Service reps were nice and frequent. The gambling section was not very big compared to other casinos in the valley. It was not crowded all. Decor was nice. You can get free food and drinks when you gamble at the tables.
We spent one night here. The Asian inspired decor was very beautiful. We got a double bed room. The beds were firm mattresses. I really enjoyed the pillows. They are very comfortable. The shower was considerably large. Bathrobes were provided. It had a very clean and comfortable feel. We were not able to see the Strip from the 7th floor, so the view was not that great. The bartender was friendly and the rest of the hotel staff was helpful as well. The pool was not deep at all, but adequate if you just want to lounge for a little while. The breakfast was a simple offering of bread & jam, coffee & tea, as well as a rice soup (?). Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would come back again
First, this is just a hotel and the name needs to be updated on Google and 3rd party booking sites as the casino has been closed since at least Jan 2018. Dont expect to gamble at this location. Second, there are no restaurants in the hotel and there is only 24hr room service. You will need to eat out and forget about bringing any leftovers back to the room that need refrigeration. There are no refrigerators in the room unless you pay an extra $35/night to have one. I would advise bringing your own cooler and fill it with ice from down the hall. There is also no entertainment at the hotel. The room was nice and chic, I liked the Asian theme of the hotel and was easy to get to the bus stop if you want to get to the strip or to Fremont Street. I was mostly disappointed because my expectations of Lucky Dragon was that is was a hotel/casino and was presented as such on the 3rd party booking sites and Google. Looking on the hotel website news section you see events, but no indication that there are no longer any events happening.
Its gone I miss it fun n quiet environment love the peace
This was a really nice hotel with great rates. Very professional and well organized. Quite area, beautiful room and view. Easy free parking. Nice robes for after your shower. Will be staying here again next time I visit.
Very nice and quiet place to stay. Clean .The hostess are very polite . Just half a block from the strip. For me the less crowded area is better. Parking very convenient. They have a small casino and a restaurant where we had some lunch arriving. Good quality and prices.
The hotel is really nice, clean and the service is flawless. Good quality shampoo, body lotion and hair conditioner provided with the rooms are additional perks. It is worth mentioning because the quality of those toiletries are quiet superior to the ones provided by other hotels. The casino is good but is not as good compared to the other services. The hotel has swimming pool, but small in size and within a small area.
The casino and restaurant not open. The pool is small and has minimal hours. Bar food was good but pricey. Place was like a ghost town. Have a car to drop off or pick up, but was never available. The room was nice and clean though. Looking for a quiet place to sleep, its a winner!
David the bartender is just.. Precious!!Besides David.. The hotel is FAB!! Beds a little small.. But the place is an elegant Ghost town!! Sad to see a new business go under so swiftly.
One star because the beds are nice. Another star because the room itself was nice.Minus three star because they are charging a “Hotel Fee” (See pictures) stating that the fee is for these “Complementary Amenities”. When we arrived at the lobby for the breakfast around 0945, an employee informed us that it ended at 0930. Their list said that breakfast is from 0930-1030. Complimentary usually implies that it is free but you are obviously paying for all the “Amenities” on this list. No wonder they filled for bankruptcy. Note that the adjacent casino is completely out of use. Stay away from this hotel; hopefully this plot of land can be used for something useful.
Excellent 3 Day stay. Perfect Choice. Serene Decor. Beautiful Scenic views from upper floors. We would definitely recommend this hotel to others. This location will be popular when the casino and restaurant opens.
The casino was closed, it rained a couple of days and had buckets everywhere for the leaking ceilings. Valet, water, coffee was to be included in the resort fees... they ran out of water no coffee in the room and valet was scares. Not sure why there was a resort fee when more than half of the amenities were closed. We were able to hear people in the rooms next to us. Do not recommend this place nor will my family and i ever stay there again!!
I visited the casino and restaurants. The casino is smaller in comparison and parking can be tricky cause of the layout. The casino looks magnificent, the Asian decor is done perfectly.
We went in to check this place out. It is pure class from start to finish.Gorgeous decorations and a luxurious feel are the first things that I noticed upon entering this placeWe stopped in at the restaurant tip have a snack. It took a while to get served but the meal was great. It was an experience just to go inside here.
Best place for Dim Sum in town. Plus, if youre playing on the tables downstairs, theres a free menu of bite sized snacks you can have right at the table! Just ask your cocktail server. Also, if youre playing at a little higher level, the VIP gaming area upstairs has personal butlers that will take care of bringing great meals right out to you. So if youre tired of spending more at the Strip properties and being treated like just another number, stop on by. Remember, garage parking is free!
Pretty clean place. Staff very friendly. Pool is small. Not in a bad location, a decent walk from the strip. Quiet compare to hotels on the strip. I would stay here again
Place is really good.. rooms look great.. service here is pretty bad.. had a worse experience with customer service with billing. They cancelled my reservation from expedia as checked in late and billed an extra $100. After a lot of back and forth the receptionist said she will waive it and next day i saw a charge on my cc. I have to call 2-3 times to fix it.. customer service lady is not helpful at all.. for the place i give 4 stars but for service 0
Had a wonderful experience at this hotel. Its the kind of place you can go for a more relaxing stay near the strip. Not too crowded, with a small, but very comfortable pool area. There was no open casino when I went, though there are others in the area. The staff was a huge part of the experience. Very friendly and helpful. Id particularly thank Connie from room service, David and Abraham from the lounge / pool area. I would absolutely return in the future.
Staff very pleasant, facility so clean and rooms was not what I expected. Great job on this facility. Unfortunately the gaming side of it was unable to succeed. Definitely a place to book price was incredible for a Friday evening 49 for a beautiful room, WiFi no extra charge, valet was complimentary & there was continental breakfast offered in the morning if.Book if you want a above decent hotel and very friendly and gracious staff.
Great service! Everyone is so friendly. David the bartender is awesome. Abraham the pool guy was very nice and attentive and Connie our house keeper was so cool!! Defiantly gonna stay here again
First time here, stayed 4 days 3 nights. They charge a resort fee of $31.28 per night (which is expected) and a $75 hold per night (which is not listed at the time if booking) no casino, no restaurants, no spa, pool was open until 6:30 even on weekends. They offer valet which I was only able to use once as no one came out when I stopped in valet area, good thing the garage was pretty empty, but if its included in the report fee it should be available, especially if no other part of the resort amenities are. Hardly any guests in the hotel. No refrigerator, no iron, no bottle water (which is part of their resort fees) and no microwave. They offer 2 complimentary glasses of their house wine per guest between 4pm - 6pm. My son (8 yrs old) threw up a bit on the floor and they charged me an additional $270 for deep cleaning however it was only a few spots as he made it to the bathroom and I was able to clean it. The only nice thing I can say is rooms and hotel had a nice decor. Definitely would not stay here again OR recommend this hotel to anyone.
Neighbors smoked out our room. Marijuana dispensary a block away. Hotel had to use an ozone machine to clear it which meant we could not go into our room. Would not move our room or offer ANYTHING as a comp. I mean, Id be happy with a 10% off the hotel lobby bar or 1 free non alcoholic drink while we were stuck waiting. Nothing. Will not go back.
The first authentic Asian themed hotel in North America. Beautifully decorated with the golden dragon at the center of the casino. This hotel is quite smaller than other major hotels in Las Vegas strip area but the newest hotel so the newest rooms in Las Vegas. If you want to experience something exotic or something youve never experienced in your life, try this hotel. You can enjoy authentic Chinese foods which you can hardly find in the U.S. They have 4 different Chinese restaurants from street foods to fine dining. You can also enjoy tea time at the lobby area, which was nice to me. Those teas were authentic too. If you want a chill and quite atmosphere, this hotel is a right choice for you since there are not many attractions and amenities around this area yet. But SLS hotel is a neighbor and it is just one block away from the strip. By the way, if you have a chance, try prime rib at Golden Steer Steak House, right next to the hotel. You wont regret! I highly recommend this hotel :)
Nice place to stay, the room was very nice and clean. But I did not like how we were charged a fee for “amenities” like casino, gym, restaurant etc.. when their casino and restaurant is closed down. So I don’t see why people are being charged an extra $70 when half the hotel is shut down. I do not suggest going here if you’re looking for gambling, and a lively atmosphere. The hotel was like a ghost town.
First time here, wanted to check it out. There was plenty of parking as the casino was a little quiet. The decor of the casino is nice. The small size of it too was very convenient, very efficient. I was greeted very enthusiastically by a bartender as I wandered around the second floor and he was very inviting, offering me a look at his awesome happy hour menu as well as the menu of their restaurant. He also explained to me the tea bar that was located in the hotel lobby and that piqued my interest. He left a great impression.
Awesome location for decent price.Very clean.Rooms are nice. Not much to choose from machines downstairs but who cares when you are in Vegas.Go to other hotel and gamble.Parking is perfect and plenty to choose from.
Clean, and pretty affordable. Parking is free and plentiful. Just a few weird things, like how the room has an ironing board but you have to call for an iron. They have good complimentary tea leaves packet, but no hot water maker. Theres a complimentary car that can take you anywhere within a few miles, but you have to figure out how to get back to the hotel.
Quite the let down. I was super excited to go to a brand new casino and it was in fact brand new.. But that was the only thing impressive about it. It was pretty. The selection, or lack there of, of slot machines was lacking. Although the selection of the Asian and/or Chinese themed games was in abundance. And thats always a good time but the vibe of the place was quite dull. Not much of anything going on. Didnt really feel very much like a casino at all really..... On a positive note, the woman that helped me the Dragons Club to sign up for a players card.. I believe her name was Chris... was extremely sweet, knowledgeable and helpful. I dont think Ill be going back though.
I would put 0 star if it allows me. No casino, no restaurant, no slippers, toothpaste and toothbrush in the room. No tea bag or coffee bag, no bottle water and no fridge. A 4 star hotel without everything? Really!
I dont understand the negative reviews of the casino and restaurant. The staff, dealers, pit bosses, cashiers, waiters, etc. were cheerful and friendly when we went there. Very nice place. We found everything we ordered delicious! Excellent place. No regrets.
Clean, large suite with living room, 2 55 inch TVs, huge bathroom walk in shower. Quality shampoo, conditioner, body wash and soap bar. Accent lights throughout the suite. Air conditioner works great. Very happy with the room.
Not happy with this hotel at all the hotel does not say it is under bankruptcy and that the casino is not open nor is the restaurant open, We had to eat at the bar which was okay my sisters chicken was raw. This casino wants to charge for a resort fee yet only provide half of what a hotel in Vegas is supposed to give. The first night we arrived we wanted to have a drink well little did we know the bar closed and room service was the only option with options for wine only which we wanted a mixed drink. We ended up walking down to wall greens to get a bottle and some juice and got back to the room and realized we needed a can opener for our pineapple juice, I went down and asked for a can opener and had no luck I said okay.. maybe a knife? They said they have no knifes that hardly cut a lime. I found a pair of scissors and got this can open. The customer service was okay not the best. Very nice room and hotel just sad to see that they are not working at full capacity for customers who pay full price but only get half of what they offer.
My son in law went to see his sister, he is 25, I thought I got a good rate, until he got there and told him about the $100 a night Incidental fee...Like a 25 yr old has an extra $200 in his pocket! I called to get them to take the charges off MY credit card, I spent over 2 hrs to set this up, then they told me that the charges had already been taken out of his card! He had $50 for the WHOLE WEEKEND!! I had to wire him $....THANKS LUCKY DRAGON! To be fair, he said the room was really nice, and it was a good thing cause they spent the WHOLE weekend there
Stayed there overnight for a concert in town. The place looks awesome with red and gold everywhere and everything is shiny new as one may expect from a hotel that was opened only 9 years ago. The rooms are modern with new tvs and very clean. The staff is very helpful and happy like they actually enjoy their job. All around a very pleasant experience and I would recommend it to anyone.
I would give this place a zero star if I could.First of all, they charge a resort fee and they don’t even have a running casino and a restaurant. They said it’s for complimentary amenities but when I went to the front desk to ask for toothpaste and toothbrush in the morning, they said they were out of it and told me to get it in the nearest Walgreens. If I have to get all those stuff, then why am I paying the resort fee. And they call themselves a 4-Star hotel. If I were you, I would avoid this place.
There are better Chinese buffets out there,
We went to see the Lucky Dragon as a tourist would. We had heard so many positive things and were very curious. It was a bit smaller than what I expected but having said that ... who cares?! This place was bright and airy and fresh. The marble was an elegant touch as were the flowets, bamboo and the grand centerpiece which hangs from the enormous open center ceiling, the crystal adorned Lucky Dragon. Its absolutely gorgeous. The restaurants are top notch with rave reviews. It was beautiful. We did not get the opportunity to see the rooms but I know they must be equally stunning. Also, the staff - very polite and perfectly manicured outfits. Classy
The casino and dine in restaurants are closed! That means the spa and meeting spaces are, too. The upside? Its relaxing, quiet, and smoke free. The staff is very attentive, working through a difficult situation (bankruptcy ). That said, the hidden fees are off putting. Thirty dollars a day for resort fees, for...and $75/day deposit for incidentals, 18% gratuity plus $3 service for room service food. That budget price is not what it seems, but the happy hour and potstickers from the skeleton kitchen almost makes up for it. The decor is fabulous. Have enjoyed Chinese breakfast. If you want to gamble, this is not optimal. If you want to chill and meet funny people at happy hour, then come on over!
Just stopped in to check it out the casino. It was very small. Mostly table games with a few machines. It looks beautiful, everything is new & the gold dragon chandelier is stunning. But I would not go there to gamble. The restaurant looks promising! Chinese food, of course. Gonna try to make it for lunch one day. Dim sum!
There was no one in the casino! It went out of business! Not a surprise!
I had never been into the lucky dragon, but my family came in to town and ended up staying there & the lobby was nice and clean. The rooms were beautiful and perfect size. The casino area was very clean, they also have a few restaurants. Smaller hotel/casino, but nice.
Nice but smaller than I thought. Thats good and bad. They had a wonderful Hawaiian/country western band playing in the nightclub area that was the highlight of visit. Ill likely go there again especially if they have entertainment like that.
Excellent customer service. The casino was clean and safe. The food was amazingly fresh and delicious. I very much enjoyed the art throughout. Cant wait to go back and try the hotel.
Pretty small casino and the pool is tiny. Restaurants were pretty expensive, the grab and go stuff downstairs wasnt too bad. No real attractions, sculptures etc to speak of. But, everything was clean and organized, parking was plentiful and free, so at least 3 stars for this place. I might try a restaurant or two there next time, one was closed for filming while I was there.
Absolutely loved staying in this emptied out casino and hotel! Staffvs.were kind and courteous, they honored their room rates advertised, and the pool is very nice! Loved the near silent ambience, the ease of parking, and the rooms are very classy! Nice beds, great pillows. Too bad theyre not gonna be around long
The staff there were unexperienced. They won’t even tell you beforehand that there was dinner at the hotel; you have to ask them for very simple information that should have been told to you. The shower supplies were limited to one bar of soap for every room. Free breakfast barely had anything- only store bought bread, porridge, and scrambled eggs.
I didnt stay in the hotel, but visited the casino. Everything looks beautiful. They have a nice small spa and several upscale restaurants. I had a meal in Dragons Alley. I like that there are a lot of choices here. Portions, price and anything else you use to qualify your meals.I had a chicken stir fry and lo mein noodles, FOR $6 DOLLARS, PEOPLE! Where can you eat in Las Vegas just off the Strip, get good quality ingredients and implements for $6? It was a healthy and delicious. Will go again soon.
The hotel was very clean and the rooms were spacious, however I was left slightly wanting constantly. For example, we called on our way to ask about the specifics of parking.. And were caught in an automated system loop. Then we checked in to find that not only do they charge over $30/day for resort fees, they also have a $100/night deposit. This is refundable, but tied up some funds while we were in Las Vegas. The room had tea, not coffee. The tea was completely in Chinese, so Im not sure the type. There was only one small bar of soap for the bathroom, which meant we had to get creative in the shower. We booked this via Priceline, and were told it was on the strip, only to find the strip was a 5 - 10 minute drive away. Parking was free, but there were limited spots on the lower floors.
A small but cute casino with an Asian theme...Pretty sweet glass dragon right in the middle of the casino floorFriendly staff + comfortable rooms = repeat business...Keep up the good work...
Wow its amazing, still has that new smell beautiful rooms and amazing view from our rooms on 7th floor, brilliant shower, very Friendly and helpful staff. Pool area small but well kept and plenty of beds and free cabanas. Casino small with limited table games but still found plenty to keep us occupied in the evening with staff willing to teach us the games. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again. Cost about $15 for 6 of us in taxi to middle of the strip.
Came in on opening night to check it out. Small casino but looked great. Be sure to check out the food downstairs by the casino. It is set up to look like a street with all the Asian street food youd ever want. They had dim sum, grilled meats, noodles, soups, sea food, deserts. Looked great!
A new hotel with good service to match its appearance. It was 40° C (105° F) when we checked in, and shortly after that the maintenance staff was going door-to-door to ensure the air conditioning was working satisfactorily. At the end of our stay, we were waiting for an afternoon flight to San Francisco, and they allowed late check-out up to 1 pm. The casino is just opposite of the hotel. Unfortunately it is a bit far from the Strip and any Deuce bus stops.
First of all the ENTIRE casino, spa, and ALL restaurants are closed. The only thing open is the hotel. This place caters to Chinese people ONLY and thats okay but thats one of the reasons that this place is now in bankruptcy you have to be inclusive! The ONLY good thing I can say is that the bed I slept in was very comfortable! The room: was clean, has only ONE mirror in the bathroom, you are only given one small face soap and they DO NOT give you more even if you stay more than one day unless you throw it in the trash! No coffee pot, no radio, no docking stations, most t.v channels are in Mandarin. If you stay more than one day THEY WILL NOT change your bed linen unless you literally take everything OFF your bed and put it in a pile in the bathroom on the floor with your dirty towels! This is a NON smoking establishment UNLESS you are an elderly Chinese man then you can smoke ANY WHERE you want! Everyone else will get charged 150bucks even if they suspect you were smoking. I even have video of a man smoking in the hallway by the elevators no problem! NO ONE did a thing! The pool is the size of the one in your back yard and it closes early. They only have ONE lady cleaning the rooms and you can leave and come back in the evening and your room is still not done you have to request your room be cleaned. The charge you 75bucks PER DAY! In case you mess something up or smoke! They charge you a RESORT FEE! Of 31bucks and when you check out the 75per day is put back on your card. Such a scam! I video taped my room daily just in case they try something shady. There ARE NO staff available you literally can go to this hotel and find NO ONE! It was the creepiest most anxiety ridden Vegas trip I have EVER had. And the hotel is in the most sketchy neighborhood you could think of. And they have no security. Stay here at your own risk! I URGE YOU DO NOT STAY HERE! The price is not worth it!
Was great, the room was amazing for me and my daughter, staff was way nice, and gave us a free upgraded room, room service was delicious.
Easy to find well priced boutique hotel.Very popular with Chinese due to its nature but checkin staff were friendly and efficient.Room was large comfortable and clean. Well maintained and large bathroom with great walk in shower.Looking forward to trying the flight of tea
I visited Lucky Dragon on a whim to check it out. Its several blocks off the strip - has a multi story parking structure and 9 story hotel. The main casino floor is relative small compared to the typical Vegas casino but its nicely decorated and feels spacious. The center of the casino floor is a round bar and above the bar roof is a sparkling gold glass and crystal Dragon descending from the ceiling. Its definitely asian themed! The first floor includes a Chinese fast food joint with an exhibition kitchen. The second floor overlooks the casino floor and features a formal Chinese restaurant.
This is absolutely the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. I dont usually write negative reviews but I have to here. The staff is incredibly rude. They dont tell you when you are booking that the majority of the hotel is closed. The casino closed. The restaurants closed. The pool closed. The bar (which is the only place to get food) is closed till noon. If you want anything other than the crappy 1 item breakfast they set out (no joke boiled eggs and thats it yesterday, cheerios and thats it today) they make you order room service for an additional fee if its before noon. Dont stay here for any amount of money! You will get less than what you pay for no matter what.
Very elegant hotel and casino. Not a huge selection on slot machines. Minimum bets are higher than most local casinos. Table games are their highlights. Nice place to see. If you join their club you will get anywhere from $8 to 888.00 in free play to be used at the tables or slots. You get to choose. My husband and I each received $8, seems to be the lucky number.
Only reason for 2 star is because the rooms are decent. Newer design since it is a new hotel. Nice restroom but the bed is not too comfortable. The customer service is the main reason why I wouldnt stay here again. The front desk/check-in employees are horrible and they do not care for customers what so ever. I also found out when I arrived that there is no casino and no dining since they closed down. Big 2 thumbs down. Absolutely nothing to do at this hotel. I would never come here twice.
Cleanliness is very good. Rooms are modern. Parking is a bit weird. Beware of unadvertised hospitality fees which are only charged at the end of your stay.
Very nice accommodations, comfortable beds, but we wish they would have cleaned better. We found a used Q-tip in the bathroom, one of the robes had some gross tar on it and the decorative pillow on the bed looked like it was growing mold. It was probably just dust or lint, but either way my wife would not touch it.
The rooms are okay, the shower is awesome. They charge you a resort fee yet theres no resort plus a deposit that is applied upon arrival not before.. the casino is closed down and the breakfast sucks bad.... The only hotel I know that dont give you a refund for the days that you dont stay... I suggest you look for another hotel...
This was a really nice hotel with great rates. The only downfall is that the casino portion is being renovated. As that is the only downfall and doesnt take away from the friendliness from the staff, I gave it five stars.
