Only go there because family is there but I feel discriminated against, we cant ride our motorcycles in to visit our family.

I lived here since January 25th and I absolutely love it everyone is so wonderful nice is a great place to live I totally recommend it in everything to do theres so much to do you cant even do it all in one day its great the pool is wonderfully heated and the spa is so nice and hot!!! Like I said its a wonderful place. To live!!!

The place is not safe . the police are in the park day in and night . people are rude and nasty . the drugs in the park . the park manager was fired for fraud . too many cover ups in the park . the park is not safe at all

I havent been to Down Yonder but want to point out that they are not the only 55+ community that doesnt allow motorcycles. It should be stated in the rules and regulations and is a question that should be asked prior to purchasing if one expects to own a motorcycle or to have visitors that ride motorcycle. We passed on a couple of parks for this reason. Even parks that allow motorcycles may have rules about them like you can only drive them through the park during certain hours and can only drive them from the entrance to the unit; no driving around the park. The reason for this is that some motorcycles are really loud and would be disruptive.

The pool and rec house are very clean and enjoyable. The residents seem to have little clicks they belong to and always have something to complain about. But if you put headphones on or ignore them, its very relaxing. There is a smoking and non smoking area. They always have great music playing...I was just visiting, but I heard their lot fees are over $700 - $800, one of the highest in the area.

Very nice park the grounds are kept up very well an office manager is very helpful doing a great job

My sister lives there, its so expensive, she pays 745.00. A month lot rent, crazy...

The park itself is nice, the residents are the real gem here. Has a wonderful community feeling and they are welcoming almost to the point of being overbearing for some. The Cons are the staff, they treat the residents rudely and its been an issue at the park since I have moved in( 3 different managers). They seem more concerned with cutting costs and raising revenue then actually managing. Any actual upkeep is performed by a a sub par and untrained maintenance team. The park will continue to fall into disrepair due to this prevailing attitude. For the price point its a close call, Im not sure if I would consider purchasing in this community a second time.

We were in there for a move. All houses look up kept folks were nice. Seemed like a nice place to live. Couple club houses with covered shuffleboard courts

This is my parents neighborhood and its nice and clean. Landscaping and maintenance is done by the park, so nobody has overgrown yards or dumpy looking lots. Overall its a nice, clean park for anyone who is 50+ years old.

Down Yonder is a beautiful place to live with many activities to keep you busy! The staff are helpful and friendly.

I think since I moved in eigther people are friendly or noisy. But I have not seen nothing out of place. I am a private person, dont like gossip nor will have my name in it. So hopefully it will be a nice place to live. I do think that the rent is steep. For older and retired people. But other than that have no complaints.

Down Yonder is not a reputable place to deal with Deborah McClure attempting to sell # 58 a trashy trailer owned by her Father and will give an applicant an application ONLY with a cash deposit then REFUSE TO GIVE THE DEPOSIT BACK IF YOU CHOOSE NOT TO PURCHASE....SHE STATES SHE DEPOSIT THE $ AND THE BANL ATE IT UP IN LESS THAN 10 HOURS LOL AND DOWN YONDER REFUSED TO INTERVENE STATING THAT RESISENT IS A KNOWN DRUG ADDICT AND THEY JUST WANTED HER GINE SOOOOOOO PROCEED WITH CAUTION

I went to there rummage sale it was alot of fun.

Very clean 55 plus park. Very quiet with no problems. The Staff are wonderful and friendly. There is a function hall, a heated pool, a hot tub, a small exercise room and room with a pool table. Lawn work is included in the lot fee but not any work on trees or shrubs. Trash comes twice a week. They have holiday pot lucks and other get-togethers for the residents. Overall, a very nice place to live.

Wonderful friendly small neighborhood. Off a 35mph road and convenient to the highways. I do suggest this park for anyone looking to semi-retire or looking to relocate to the area. Lot rent is a bit high but you do get.amenities.

Wouldnt let me visit my family cause I drive a motorcycle after I traveled 5 hours from north florida. Plan on moving my loved ones outta here

Good quiet place for senior citizens. It is however located next to 142nd ave which can be a busy road as a school/church is across the street. But the police are not here often unlike the parks nearby so that is a good thing.

A 55+ community. There are a lot of rules and there are plenty of bossy/cranky residents that make sure you follow them. The lot rent is increased frequently and is now at a level most seniors cant afford.The mailboxes are teeny tiny so if you pick up mail for someone you literally HAVE to go every day. The postman/woman is awful, not Down Yonders fault, but maybe they could consider a solution for the mail.*Update 10/2018 they have updated the mailboxes but have increased the lot rent yet again for the new year. So many homes for sale in this park and more seniors very scared for a future they cant afford to eat AND pay rent.

My parents live here, it is a very clean and tidy park with people taking pride in the appearance of the outside of their homes.

New owner here, they refused my first payment on their portal. Second payment had to be by check. I used to work for KW properties and management company based out of Miami and I can tell you ELS is the worst management company ever! Over priced lot fees too. With all the other trailer parks around, WHY BOTHER?..

The park is going down hill because of the manager there she plays sides with the H O A you cant trust her to do the right thing . and the park floods real bad and the sewer lines are very OLD . The owners of the park only care about money . A lot of the people like to gossip and the tax fraud that is going on there, people are turning their heads and the homeowners association turns there head to the tax fraud thats all they do is cover up crimes the place is full of white trash and low life drunks, they have sex at the pool nude and the drunk partys they have there are loud . I see lots of people come and go they dont stay long at all . The park manager is very rude and you should pull a police report before you move in here. The manager rents places to any body she doesnt care as long as you come up with the down payment. When the good people get sick of the park they just go . They walk away from their homes which is something that they count on so they can take it and resell it. The crime is getting bad in the area . Largo is not a nice place to live . so if you like tax fraud and loud partys getting nude at the hot tub and the gossip you will love this place . Its where the white trash goes because there low life people who rip off the government, STOP THE TAX FRAUD
