Played The Links yesterday. Great experience from beginning to end. What a beautiful course! A big thank you! to the staff member who took the time to deliver my phone and credit cards to me mid-round. The special rate included a bucket of balls for the practice range, where I had left my phone, credit cards, and ID (ugh!). While I hadnt noticed the loss at that point, I am very grateful to the kind man who spared me the distress that the realization would have caused me. It is so great to know that Fox Hollow counts with people of integrity and good will.
One of my favorite golf courses. Staff is super friendly and the course is well-kept.
I really like the layout of two of the three 9s at this course, and the course maintenance is really well done. However, I no longer regularly golf there because the pace of play is consistently terrible, they do not manage play on the course and as a result, my last three rounds have been at or longer than 5 hours. Three years ago, I had to leave the course after the 15th hole because I was at 4:45 minutes. I stopped going to the course. A year later, I played a round to see if it improved...it had not. 5 hours. Last year, I came on a late fall day to check again. No improvement. Played today, 2:28 for the front nine, quit after 4 holes on the back took over an hour and I had a ten minute wait on the tee box of the fifth hole. Rangers do nothing. The course just crams people on and shrugs its shoulders at the terrible pace. Ill check back in a year or so.
Great course. Much better than I am! Folks who work there are wonderful and overall a good place to spend some time at.
Played canyon/meadows. Course conditions were good, no gps on carts which I was expecting for courses in this price point. Played canyon to meadows, canyon was good with lots of elevation changes. Meadows was better in my opinion, more risk vs reward. Saw bev cart once for 18 holes on weekday. Shop staff was okay, not great.
Gets 5 stars because if the great golf lesson I got from Mike, one of their pros. Learned more in 15 minutes than I did in an hour at one of the fancy downtown shops. Thanks Mike. Ill be back.
This review is based solely on the pace of play. The course itself is a wonderful course to play on and is always in great shape. However, the pace of play is horrendous. I played nine holes of twilight at the end of June. Our tee time was at 6:38pm and we did not finish until 9:15pm. Although Fox Hollow has many tees available for many different ability levels, the fact of the matter is that the course overall is difficult. Many people who play this course are hitting every tee shot into the tall grass. This is not necessarily bad, but when tee times are nine minutes apart, this presents a problem. To add to the bad pace of play, there are rarely, if ever, any marshals out regulating pace of play. This is especially true for playing during their twilight hours. If you enjoy taking two hours and 40 minutes to play nine holes, this is the course for you!
Have a tournament here every year always a great place to golf and in pristine condition. Great clubhouse and great service in the restaurant and bar area! Love the food and breakfast burritos! Never been dissappointed!
Never again. Great layout, but sadly this course plays slower than ANY in the entire front range. 5 hours and 27 minutes is inexcusable. Get your act together, Fox Hollow!
Good golf course with three distinct nines - two links, and one through trees and lakes and creeks. Lots if fun...great sitting on the patio after finishing to enjoy a cool drink!
Really slow rate of play especially when then allow groups of 5 but dont worry its only $70 a round. I would allow 5 or 6 a group if I was charging that per head
The course Fairways and greens were in mint condition. Unbelievably healthy and beautiful. In my opinion they you should not have a tee time for 5:15 for 9 holes.Beginning of 7th hole was quite hard to see ball. Basically impossible for the 8th and 9th. but we did it anyway. The very latest teatime should be around 4:45 or something.Still very beautiful
Driving range was great to help me improve my swing and game. Went there twice and would recommend this location.
Very disappointed. I have played this course many times and have always had great experiences. But today was not so. My group made a reservation a week ago, and made a note that I would be joining for the back nine. When I arrived I was told someone had bought my time.... A simple mistake that I can forgive except that the lady working the pro shop did not make any attempt to help solve the problem. I was told there was nothing that could be done, I could not play and I was sent on my way. So I left, very disappointed as to how the situation was handled.
Slow pace of play but fun course. Played Links to Canyon. Links felt a bit cramped and the holes did not feel very creative. Canyon was much, much better. There is a dog-leg left downhill (forgot hole number) across a canyon (more of a deep creek). There is a marshal at the bend to tell you when to tee off, mainly if you plan on blindly go for the green. The holes on the canyon course are more creative and I found much more enjoyable. The holes are not side by side like the links course. The greens on this course felt like glass, I kept sliding right off the back (and often times, straight down-hill). I would recommend but give Links a pass if you have the choice.
Great course! Nice club house, driving range and chipping, putting area
The course is great, and the staff has always been very friendly.
Beautiful course. Interesting holes. Reasonable rates. Only thing is they dont have enough signs for a course with three different sets of nine holes. Its a bit confusing.
When you are in Colorado this is a must play if youre serious about golf. All facilities are excellent and the staff is great.
Course in good shape check in easy and quick staff friendly. Big negative cart paths only
The course is phenomenal, some of the clubhouse staff are helpful and nice and some of them grumpy and not interested in being helpful.
Pace of play was absolutely horrendous. 5 hours to play 18 today. Course is in pretty good shape but they’re are putting too many times on the tee sheet. We had 3 groups on the 2nd hole par 3. Pace was immediately slow and stayed slow.
Excellent choice if you’re looking to play 5 hour rounds. Pace of play was so slow and the marshalls are more concerned with the native grass than they are with the glacial pace. Course was in solid shape but waiting five minutes on every tee box is not appealing to me.
Enjoyable course, havent played in years but the Canyon course is still tough. Meadows course is still my favorite of the three as its a little more forgiving.
Ive played this course about 6 times this summer. Great staff, beautiful views and most of all, a challenging game of golf.
3 super fun 9 hole championship courses
Great options with three nine hole courses!
“Good golfers need to learn how to play slower” - Paula Front DeskWorst experience I’ve have playing golf. Had the first tee time out and when I made the turn they sent out 3 groups playing only 9 holes holding me back for 30min. Went into the pro shop and they prorated me for 9 holes. Paula from the front desk said “good golfers need to learn how to play slower.” Didn’t know playing too fast was a punishment especially for being the first tee time out. I also found it very disrespectful when Paula decided to laugh in my face about the whole situation because she doesn’t have a basic understanding on how a golf course should be ran. My advice for Paula is to go back to the tennis club and never touch a golf club again.
Wonderful course, but get marshals out to move play along. 7am tees should not be anywhere close to this 5+ hr round
Like the fact that they have 3 9 hole courses and not 18. Beautiful scenery.
Very cool place. 1st time there.
Love this Golf Course and the Restaurant is good. Especially Breakfast!!
Friendly service and good food. Reasonably priced
Friendly. Course in good condition. Restaurant serving. Overall a good time
Great place, great staff, and well organized with tee times during COVID.
Fun challenging course with great staff
Fox Hollow was an absolute great golf course. This course is great for everyone from the Saturday with the boys golfer to the single digit handicap that is looking for a good challenge. The 18 loop when I played was the Meadows to the Links and I absolutely enjoyed the ability to play two different styles of golf in the same round. The Meadows was tree lined target golf with will protected greens and water in play. The Links was pretty authentic links golf without trees and the wind decided your strategy. The grounds crew had the curse in great shape and the practice facilities were very well thought and useful. Bang for the buck this is high on my list in the Denver Metro. I will absolutely be back.
Not interested in golf, but the restaurants pretty good. Pretty scenery and a nice diversion. Fore! - or whatever it is those golfer types say :)
Course in excellent condition. Several holes require you to lay up which i dont enjoy
Multiple courses. Different feels on each. Very worth the price
Very nice 27 hole layout. Prime season rates are a little pricey, but offseason rates are hard to beat.
I have only golfed here a couple times and wow! Definitely my favorite course I have ever golfed at, it is well priced and the scenery is amazing! They have three sections on the course, canyon, meadow, and links course. I have only golfed at canyon but I loved totally recommend golfing here if you get the chance!!
Really strict. Management interrupted our meal 3 times to let us know the company couldnt bring water before we even got on the course. Very rude.
It appears as though the driving range will be on mats all summer, very disappointing. I cant justify spending $9 on a bucket of range balls to hit on mats.
Please keep this beautiful place protected. Love the wild life and its perfect for golf.
Friends we were visiting in Lakewood suggested The Den at Fox Hollow for breakfast. So glad they did. We were seated outside (at our request), had a great view of the golf course and surrounding mountains (foot hills?) and lots of sun shine. Four of us ordered different breakfast items, and no one complained about the quality or short time we had to wait to receive our orders. Our waitress, Julie, really seemed interested in us, made sure we had everything we asked for and/or needed & stopped by our table several times to make sure everything was alright. This was a terrific place for a outstanding breakfast. Actually looking forward to returning to CO just to eat at this restaurant again.
I had to cancel my tee time due to unforeseen events. A gentleman named Dave was EXTREMELY sympathetic and polite. He wished that everything was okay with me and hoped to see me there again soon.I will book here again as soon as I have a chance!
Great course. Well maintained.
Nice course, well maintained and fun!
Nice course, hopefully will look better with more water, but not bad at all.
Absolutely beautiful course that’s ruined because they have no sense of pace and timing for getting groups out so it inevitably just becomes a giant log jam. I teed off at 6pm walking alone and left the course at sundown at 8:30 on the 6th hole.
Great place to hot balls and beautiful scenery
Laid back. Hit a bucket at the range.
Great golf course
Nutthin like an early morning toke and stroke =D
Very nice course,well maintained
Great place to play!
Great food and drinks!
I have been a fan of Fox Hollow Golf Course and the Den restaurant for well over ten years. I love the atmosphere, the friendly service and the food is great. Plus, you have four great golf courses in which to golf!
Greens like concrete today. Get some water on em.
Will definitely be back I played the canyon and meadows which meadows seemed pretty mellow and canyon was a lot of fun. Ill be back to try the links course.
Great views and great food
Great course for the price
Super easy course. Greens roll smooth. Tee boxes are very well maintained. Just kidding about the easy part.
I didnt golf but I had fun!
Beautiful golf course. Nice club house and bar area. Good value overall.
Beautiful course and great staff.
Nice course with great views.
Driving range was super and good good too!!!
Nice challenging and scenic golf
Fox Hollow is a great place to golf!

Beautiful golf course
Gorgeous golf course
Course was in good condition, nice and green. The green were a bit slow and nothing broke like it should but a fun play and beautiful views.
Wonderful food in a cozy place, good service beautiful golf course
I fricken love Fox Hollow, it’s beautiful. The Canyon and Meadow are my favorite.
My good friend Brian Conboy got an ace on #6 Canyon Course so on overall great time...Bear Hug mens league...
One of the best courses on the front range.
Great weather and great atmosphere couldnt ask for more
Great shape
Too expensive and pace of play is way too slow. The course is in good shape, but for a city course youd expect a better deal for its residents. $72 for 18 with a cart is too expensive. $85 on weekend. No thanks.
Nice place to bike thru.
Love the 3 different courses. Food and folks are awesome!!
Everything was great. Links is a little exposed if its windy. Canyon is challenging and beautiful.
Very fun! I love courses that make you think and this course is definitely a thinking mans course. Greens rolled very true and there was actually real sand in all the bunkers. Being so close to the foot hills, be prepared to deal with the occasional wind gust. Driving range is top notch, plenty of room
I didnt golf but the clubhouse food is always yummy! My husband likes golfing here tho.
