Beautifully maintained park between Rec Center to north and Ice Arena to south. Has an adaptive swing (see pic). Very nice, and interactive, playground. Worth a trip if youre nearby.

Great park with lots of stuff for kids to play on. Plus some large fields to run around on. They also have an outdoor workout space next to the play equipment for parents to use while their kids play.

This park features an amazing playground for different ages of kids. There are a lot of unique features, unique workout equipment that both kids and adults can use, and it spread out over a pretty large rubber surface.

Great park, I should give it 1 star so its less crowded but Im not like that lol. Could use a bit more shade in the hotter months. But this is my 4 year olds favorite park for a reason. Lots of stuff for them to climb on and slide down.

The only reason for the deduction right now, is because this place can be really really crowded. And most of the adults and for obvious reasons almost all of the kids dont wear masks. Not a playground you want to go to on the weekend if you are serious about social distancing.

Fun for all ages especially having the outdoors workout equipment was neat

Beautiful park, substantially nicer, more modern, and well equipped than most parks. Its also very big and has activities for people of all ages. I especially love the music area -- could spend hours there. Its also a great spot to watch the sun set since there arent any buildings in the way.

Awesome park with lots to do for all ages. There are small structures for toddlers and larger ones for big kiddos. In addition to the playgrounds there is a sand pit with digging tools and a harmony park section with bells and hammers for kids to enjoy!

This park is great. Theres some many things to play on. Theres a whole music area the kids can bang on. The ground is nice soft rubber and all the equipment is new and feels very safe. There are picnic tables and theyre are covered. The bathrooms are clean and theres also a basketball court and soccer fields. We spend at least 3 hours here and my kids never want to leave. There is work out equipment too that Ive seen adults use and the kids climb on them too.

First time here and completely love it! It has plenty of things for kids (age 0-10) to be entertained. Big playground, small playground, sand box, little merry ground, music boxes, big grass area, basketball court, etc! Awesome!!!!

The dogs, kiddos, & I had a great time at the park. Tons of great grass for Maddie to role around in and play fetch! The park is huge. A wonderful playground for the little Humans. They loved it. :) The park even has a clean restroom. Parking was ample. A ton of fun things around the park. We all had a great time. We loved visiting the park. I wish there was a park this wonderful closer to us.

This park is extravagant and pretty amazing. Its massive and there are many things to play on for kids. almost the entire park is covered in a rubber compound which is safe to run around on for kids. the only reason I wouldnt give it five stars is because its so popular for these reasons that its usually pretty populated.

This park is phenomenal! It has the whole shabang! It has several exercise stations for the older kids to adult. The playground was a huge hit with the little monsters. They were able to play And have fun With plenty of space to Stomp around. Would definitely recommend this to any of my friends with kids or without! This new playground has a wide age range and fun variety of equipment. There are spinning things, climbing, and musical instruments. The surface is wheelchair accessible and there are adaptive swings. There is fitness equipment too and lots of open lawn. A sand digger for tots.

Love the park! The flooring they use makes it possible for my one year old to walk or crawl easily. The playground is fun for my older kids as well. Its on our favorites list. Also has workout equipment for parents, though I havent used those yet

This park is awesome! Huge variety of equipment for all ages, including various slide and swing types, a sand pit, huge musical/percussive instruments, climbing and spinning obstacles, a nice soft surface - with covered picnic areas, surrounded by soccer fields and a basketball court (and right next to a rec center w/ indoor and outdoor pool). Even adults can play on the fun exercise equipment!

We love this park. There is something for everyone. Basketball hoops, musical instruments, sand box, workout equipment for adults, climbing. My kids love it every time. Be warned that it is hard to get them to leave.

One of my favorite parks in Denver area! So much to do. They even have some playground equipment for people in wheel chairs! They have a swing where mommy and baby can swing together and a large sand area.

Amazing park! Plan to stay awhile. Dont waste your money on the splash pad in the rec center.

Ive been visiting Carmody Park for 25 years. Theres still basketball and soccer. The recreation center is still there along with the walking path around the lake and the ice arena on the south. Whats new?Now is the best time. Its got a new playground with a nature theme that is accessible to all abilities.Theres outside exercise equipment. If you have kids, they can play while you watch and exercise.Many times there are instructor led exercise classes like Zumba and fitness. People meet at the park to stroller job, ru nearly everyn, bike, etc. And theres always fun and happiness. I think the new shelters are used for birthday parties, graduation celebrations, etc. nearly every weekend.I love that Lakewood listened to the neighborhood and rebuilt this park. It truly is a place of community. Thank you Lakewood.

Nice place for taking your kids - ground is that soft shredded rubber material so if there is a fall it wont hurt - lots of swings, slides, etc. There are a few tables for setting up lunch/picnic.

Its so awesome to have a wheelchair/ stroller accessible park with a variety of play options for kiddos with different capabilities! It includes different sensory experiences, adaptive swings, music play, sandbox, jungle gyms, and more!

This is our new favorite playground/park! She loves the sand pit and they have like 5 slides. The music making area is very creative and the workout area gives bored adults something to do as well! Large grass area, small pond near walking trails, lots of parking, a few covered shelters, and bathrooms and water fountains. Very well maintained and it should get a five star but some of the staff/parents from the rec center next door tend to be rude. Outside of that it’s a great park! Enjoy!!!

One of the best childrens parks in Lakewood/Denver area

If you have not yet been here you are missing out! This park is incredible. There are many different themes to the outdoor park. Tree house, rock climbing, swings, spiderweb climber, music area with different chimes and drums. Along with a dandy play area for kiddos and work out equipment for anyone over 12 years of age to enjoy. There are also eating areas and restrooms. Very nice place to take your littles for an enjoyable day outside. Plenty of space to play on the swings, basket ball, hop scotch or soccer! Nicely kept and clean!

Very organized, very clean, very entertaining, very fun, my grandkids love it, the best playground I have ever seen, love it.

They are draining the lake once again and it is quite. But still a pleasant walk with the tree turning colors.

If you have little ones...you will love this park

It was perfectly fine but not worth the drive from Centennial, where we have better parks like Westlands and Center Park.

The food was horrible. Service also was slow. I wouldnt recommend this place.

Perfect when its not too hot!

We really enjoy coming to this park. They have a lot of variety for all ages to enjoy. They have an area where kids can play chimes and gongs, a sand area, slides, areas to climb, spin and more. There are basketball courts and placed to play hopscotch. One of my favorite features is the swing where you can swing with your baby face-to-face. During the summer, it can get very crowded with daycare groups. There isnt a lot of shade, so bring sunscreen and water. There are bathrooms and a drinking fountain, but I dont know if they are open year round.

The Dads that I know literally refer to this place as the cool park. The surface is made of some type of spongy foam so that your kids do not get hurt falling and also do not end up full of sand or wood chips. There are some really cool slides that are built into the side of a hill so that little kids can get up them without a ladder. They also have a large music section for kids to play on drums. The park is rather large and has a mix of equipment for both older and younger kids. My kids really enjoy this place.

This playground is huge, with activities for all ages. Love the workout equipment idea for parents as they watch their children. Adaptive playground allows all children to play together. Didnt feel crowded even on a busy Saturday afternoon.

Its just a cool park close to school. There are rubber pebbles that scratch up my knees when I trip.
