Neat, clean park with a nice redone playground and basketball courts. Theres a separate playground for young kids.

Wonderful park. The kids have a lot of fun here. Very busy. Note that the little kid play area is only open Monday through Friday until 11:30am.

The park has a well kept playground area with a fenced, separate area for toddlers. Add the basketball courts, the softball fields, covered pavilions with bbqs, and a Marine Fighter plane on display makes a great local park.

Met a long time friend there and we shared some laughs and some tears. Take something to sit on though because all the seating is blocked off for now.

All of the park seating is closed due to the pandemic but you can bring a mat and seat on the grass oe enjoy the rest of the park.

The “Airplane Park” Del Valle Park’s memorial was finally updated. It took many years for them to add several missing names of the fallen, including my Father’s. Since then they have really improved the memorial. Visit it after dusk, it is really a nice tribute to Lakewood’s own fallen boys. Thank you Lakewood!

Nice park. Very clean. It has a new playground for the children to play. The memorial area is wonderful.

Pros: Great theme that the kids really loved. Equipment seems new and in very good shape with lots to do, including slides and swings. Restrooms available very close to the playground, within the park were cleaner than I expected for a public park. Cons: Shady spots to sit and wait/watch or picnic were hard to come by and, even in the middle of this hot July day, the grass was muddy.

Great Park to bring kids to. We bring my son here when he gets out of TK.

The locals call it airplane park we call it a good time we play basketball we play on both playgrounds. When the time is right we take a walk around the park it has a large area to run through green grass. Lots of kids its good for children to build their social skills by playing with other kids interacting and socializing will help them a lot. Its great for birthday parties!

Best playground ever! There is so much to do and enjoy on this playground. It keeps my older kids and younger kids entertained for hours. Great picnic spots, bathrooms are ok, it’s a good park to spend time at.

The Tot Lot is a wonderful place to get your kids enrolled for development and also building friendship and interaction skills.

Concerts in the park are the best! This park fills up and everyone had a great time! Lots of space, good food and a playground for the kids.

The park was very nice, this was My 1st time there it was kept up very well !!!! I was there 4 a baby shower & we were under a gazebo we had plenty of tables,but they only have 1 bathroom spot & it was all the way on the other side of the park!!!! Its a long walk when U need 2 go Bad!!!!!!

My kids love this park. The memorial in front is beautiful. Makes thia park personal and a special tribute. Nice grounds. Multiple playgrounds. Lots to do. My kids love the zip line. Great way to spend the day

Safe, enjoyable, especially when the parents are watching their children and are not busy with a conversation or cellphone.The park has a nice structure, or apparatus, that has some slides, a rock wall, and a little hill, among other things.The most popular item might be the zip line.As long as parents are watching or supervising their children, all issues and misunderstandings can be avoided.

Always a great visit, especially for the kids. The park is usually very clean and always lots of parents with their kids playing. Lots of other kids for my two boys to play with. The airplane theme is really well done, my older son loves it. Even my younger loves climbing up and going down the big slide. There are interesting climbing things and a large airplane for kids to pretend in. All the station panels have knobs and dials and steering wheels. Its really a great park.

Del Valle Park is a very beautifull park, please do your part to help keep our park beautifull! Throw away trash in trash bins, there are many of them all around the park, it was shocking how much trash i picked up today. Love where you live and play and have respect and pride, and teach your kids to have respect too. I see so many kids throw trash on the ground and their parents laugh. Please be kind and have respect for others and our park.

Two different play structures ones a plane and an air control tower. The one for the smaller kids play place is gated and there is fire engine structure. With a house and some see saw things.

This is our second time camping at Del Valle Regional Park. We stayed at the same campsite that we used before. Our campsite is fully shaded and only has a neighbor on one side. It was also a short walk to the restrooms and showers. The water faucet was nearby. The lake is close enough to walk, but we drove. There is swimming beach with lifeguards. The water is shallow enough for small children and is well marked with bouys and ropes. On the other side of the lake are boat rentals and snack bar. We are planning to go back and do another family camp out next year.

Great spot to bring your children to have a picnic, come see the plane, the veterans memorial is beautiful. The park has basketball courts baseball fields, playground. Nice park to have a relaxing time

One of the best parks in Lakewood. Aka airplane park because of the giant light up jet on the corner. Its great for baseball, football, soccer, basketball, and it has 2 awesome kiddie playgrounds. A must for Lakewood residents.

Great park for kids and family outings. The bigger playground has a broken slide at the moment, as of 4/21/19. Hope itll get repaired soon.

Very cool park! Lots of fun things to climb and explore for the kiddos. Theres even a seperate play structure for wee ones, a splash/kiddie pool and benches in the shade for parents. Plenty of street parking too.
