It has amazing shade. Ill spend around 2 hours at this park with my 2 year-old son. Its easy to move around. It has trees the kids can easily climb, as well.

Great hillside park with a playground, sports fields, and sweeping views.

Beech park dog park. Not the best dog park but nice when its just too hot for a real walk or cant get to Bear Creek lake park. Very nice dogs to the east along the fence.

Its a great sledding place

I visited the baseball fields at this park. Decently maintained field, and in a beautiful spot in Green Mountian, right off the hiking trails. Port-o-potty only, and no recycling.

City of Lakewood takes great care of their parks and this one is no exception, an amazing sledding hill here in the winter but shhhh its a secret ;)
