Fun little splash pad for all ages to enjoy. its free to the public, so get out and enjoy those hot summer days cooling down at the splash pad!

Children and I mostly like the garden. I cant blame anyone for the bathroom but the people who doesnt care for other people health, like how hard is it clean after yourself or children. If the shoe was on the other foot. Nobody would like it if you treated their home like this .

Great place for the kids to play and I love that theres no costs for it, it gets expensive to go to the aquatic center with 3 kids! Thank you Kingsport for offering this to the public, it is greatly appreciated!

This is a wonderful place and a fun way to cool off for kids. Specially if your children are smaller. My grandkids really loved it. Older kids might be a little bored but I think thats its great to have a free alternative for young parents on hot days. There is a playground and picnic tables here as well. I highly recommend it as an inexpensive fun afternoon for younger kids.

Great place to let the kids cool off on a hot summer day! Its free and there is a great variety of obstacles and sprays! I take my 1 year old and she loves is just as much as my 6 year old! They have some shade and there are picnic areas to set up for a birthday party. But I am pretty sure it is first come first serve, so get there early on the say you want to plan a party!

I was highly impressed with the lengths they went to for the safety and fun times for our fur babies! They put fences up to enclose the area and had two people monitoring the gates. Thats a really big deal seeing as the event was free!!!

Pretty cool place to take the kiddos to go play in the water. They also have a large covered area with picnic tables so the parents can sit and try to avoid baking in the sun. The splash pad seems to be well maintained and best of all it’s free!!!

Took some family from Indiana to the Splash Pad. Trusting as they are they left their stuff lay while taking my niece to play in the water. Short story is my wife had to round up all their personal items (cell phones/wallets because this guy was watching them for a long period of time and making his way closer to them. When my wife gathered up their belongings and took them to the car, he was obviously upset. Additionally, I dont like to judge, but this should be a place that people with children should be allowed to visit. A lot of young adults just loitering who werent with kids.

The playground is AWESOME, but more info on seasonal use for the splash pad would be nice. They have 3 #s available to call for information, but theyre useless if no1 is gonna answer any of them. The posted sign says Closed for the season. Exactly what do you consider the season if 80° weather doesnt apply?!

What a great treasure of Kingsport! Ideas for improvement: A more kid-friendly surface. More shaded seating closer. Some young children playground items.

Ive taken my children and grandchildren to the Splash Pad during summers for over ten years. Its a great place to cool off on hot days. There are picnic tables, benches and a playground as well.The Splash Pad is a wonderful place for Free summer fun with the children and family.

We love going here. I would just recommend more seating for parents in the shade close to the pad. I hope they expand the splash pad.

Love this place a must go for the young kids. Great place to picnic and get together for birthdays. You can cool off in the water or dry off and play on the playground. You can bring a tent and set it up or rent one of the 2 shelters they have available. There is a big open field right beside the splash pad and playground you could play soccer softball kickball tag anything you like. You can also expect a visit from the ice cream truck. He had a big variety to choose from and its a refreshing treat. This is a great place to take the kids yo play for an afternoon its free and refreshing on a hit summers day.

The splash pad would not turn on and the showers were on and we couldnt get them to turn off. Just seemed like upkeep could have been better.

I was in town visiting my grandkids and my daughter, we had so much fun .

Let me start off by saying Ive lived in Kingsport my entire life. I knew the splash pad existed, but had never visited until today. I went with some out-of-town relatives to try it out. The facilities were better than I had anticipated. The bathhouse was very clean, and the entire place was tidy. The splash pad attraction was just part of the fun, as they had a full size playground and a field for the kids to run and play. The only downside is that I wish it was completely fenced in, like the fencing around the splash pad. Other than that, it was a wonderful place to visit with the children. If youre looking for something to do on a hot summer day, I would suggest it to anyone.

My children love it! Bring a picnic and stay for hours. Only recommend you bring your own toilet paper as the restrooms could be better painted to be a public place.

Very nice shaded shelter for parents to watch kids in the splash pad. Bring your own chairs. Birthday rentals for picnic shelters are $30 as of July 2017. Great place to take kids during the summer!

This is a wonderful free activity for hot days. 2 shelters that can be rented for parties, playground, basketball court, and splash pad are available. It is usually breezy so those not getting wet dont suffer too much from the heat. The grounds are maintained well. It has bathroom/changing area right off the splashpad(hidden in the mural wall).

Didnt know you had to reserve a shelter. In what world does a grown man think its right to tear down a 7 year old boys birthday party decorations (FOR A GROWN WOMANS BABY SHOWER) AND THROW THE DECORATIONS IN THE TRASH?? Who does that?? Oh Its the splash pad rent a cop. Yet a 5 year old BLATANTLY smacks me in the back of the head...i got to take care of business with the dad MYSELF. WTH DO THEY PAY THIS FOOL FOR?! Useless. Useless. Useless.

We had a wonderful time. It could use some more shade at the playground area & some more benches. The children summer programs cause it to become a bit crowded after lunch so expansion when funding is available would be great.

My daughter always has so much fun running through all the sprinklers. We also utilize the covered picnic areas ( yes, they have grills ) and the regular playground attached.

The ONLY thing in Kingsport for children to do that is free besides a park. I feel Kingsport needs to invest more money into the youth and the drug/alcohol issue would dramatically decrease.
