First time going! It was fun for the four if us to get out if the house for a change. Dont do like us and just show up tho! We made an appt for 10. They told us to go to thier web site and book a time next time. We did the Rock-N-Roll room. I grew up on country music so I had to keep asking my old man a bunch of questions lol. They would have gotten a 5 star but the room wasnt ready when we walked into it. And was made to back out of the room till he got it ready. All n all it was a fun family time to get out of the house!

My 10 year old grandson was visiting for the summer from out of state and kept asking to go but I couldnt find any one his age available to go with him. He assured me that I would love it so I reluctantly booked TAKEN online and filled out our waivers. We did not have to wait at all and we had a wonderful time of finding hidden clues, solving riddles, and unlocking mysteries. We will definitely be returning to try to ESCAPE again in all its different ways!!!

I actually went in thinking that I wasted money and wasn’t going that it wasn’t going to be enjoyable. I was so wrong. We had a blast and it was really challenging. While we didn’t escape this time, we are going to be coming back to try again. Our guide Ben was so nice, helpful, and so funny.

Always have a good time here. Staff is super friendly. Wish the management would get some new rooms as weve now done all 3 and would like to do more

The host was welcoming and friendly- the room was decorated well and made you feel like you’re “locked in a cabin in the woods”... puzzles were challenging but we were still able to escape. Would recommend to anyone who loves escape rooms.

It was great and and so fun place to go to the only thing that I didn’t like was the price it should not be 75$ just for 3 people it should be around 50 or sum other than that there was a great employe, Ben there who answered every question I asked he was so helpful and he taught us some cool stuff it was a great experience the only thing was the pricing

This was my very first experience doing the Escape Room and I was definitely not disappointed!! I will for sure be doing it again! I say more people the better the game! My group of gal pals had a blast! Can’t wait to do another one!

I played Virus X and House of Houdini with two friends tonight, and had a blast. Both rooms were challenging but not exasperatingly so. Gary ran both of our games, and he was really nice. Its a very nice and very clean place.

We were the only two people on a Thursday night at 10PM after Christmas and the staff was awesome. Great puzzles for “Taken”. We will be back for every challenge.

I had a blast at this Escape Room. I was really surprised in our challenge. The business is clean. The bathrooms are very nice. (I know that may seem like a strange thing to mention. But come on, how many times do you go to a cool place only to want to vomit if you have to use the restroom). I would recommend giving it a try. We had a group with 5 adults and one child. We did escape with a minute to spare. It is a good time.

Its a great way to spend an evening working together with friends and family to find a solution. Best tip I could give you is not to skip around. Start with clue one and finish it before going on to clue two, and so on.

My office wanted to do something together as a team and decided we would try an Escape Room (something none of us had done before). It was great! So great everyone wants to go back for another room, we will definitely be back. Thank you for a great team building experience.

So much fun! This was my first time at the Escape Room, and I really enjoyed it! I loved the fact that the clues were difficult to figure out, but not so difficult that it was frustrating. The host was very helpful in explaining everything and answering our questions. I cant wait to try another room!

We have done several escape rooms. First time with Escape Room Kinsport. Enjoyed the Houdini room. Staff was kind and courteous. The puzzles were fun and just the right amount of challenge.

Took my children here Friday and it was the worst experience. We were put in a room with 4 grown adults that would not let my kids participate at all. They literally snatched the clues out of their hands and took off with them. Would read them amongst themselves. They said they had been their before so they should have allowed my kids the experience since it was their first time. Wasted $100 kids hated it bc they had no clue what the whole room was about, considering they didn’t read anything or participate whatsoever. We won’t go back because staff should have said or done something it was ridiculous. They said they were watching the whole time.

It was aboustley a great family adventure!

The staff is amazing! I cant say enough about how friendly they are. The quality of this experience is worth every penny. Our kids loved virus x in the summer. We did a date night with the Taken scenario tonight and it was so much fun! We have already scheduled to go back!

We were more than disappointed at this location. There were only 2 of us and expressed to Blake that we would probably need help, this is supposed to be fun and engaging with the staff. After our 3 clues were used we tried and tried to get a hint or some sort of response we got disgusted walked out of the room looked for Blake couldnt find him and unlocked the front door, which had a sign on it that said he would be back, we are still not sure if he still thinks that we are in the room!

Our experience was wonderful! My best friend and I, who have both played quite a few escape games, escaped Virus X in 49 minutes. I highly recommend checking out Escape Room Kingsport, as well as the other escape games in the area for the junkies. Our Game Host, Gary, was phenomenal, as well. Wonderful people and really cool games!

Had a great time tonight! Great story line and room ideas. Clues and escape were hard but not unfair! Great game master all in all fantastic experience will go back again very soon!

First, we have done over 7 escape rooms at multiple locations. This was our first time at this place. So I booked this escape room for 5:55 Taken on Sunday 5/19/19. We arrived at 5:25. No one was there and all the lights were out. I called to see what the hours were and double checked to make sure I made the reservation for the right day and time. The phone number had an option to hear the hours of operation and for Sunday said they open at 5pm. Finally someone arrived and saw us sitting out front but they took at least 10 mins before they came up to the door, unlocked it then immediately ran off without greeting us or anything. We walked in and met Gary who I asked about the hours and he told me that they usually don’t show up until 5:40 and I mentioned that I called and it said 5. He then said “I don’t know who told you that” he then told us to fill out the waivers and we have 20 mins to hang out then he disappeared. We kept busy with the puzzles they had set out then Gary finally showed back up and took us to our room. The room overall is very cluttered. He made sure to tell us a couple times that there’s a lot of things that weren’t important in there. Then told us a few rules and let us begin. We ended up using our 3 clues but found Gary hard to get ahold of when we were asking for him some which is aggravating when you’re against the clock. I’m not sure how or if he watches us but multiple times he would come on and be like “oh I didn’t hear you”. What was very unhelpful and honestly wouldn’t see it at any other escape room was that when we were doing a letter lock and were 100% sure we had the word right but it wouldn’t open we asked Gary multiple times if we had the right word just to make sure since it wasn’t opening. He didn’t reply to us until finally the 8th time we asked (keep in mind this was only in a few minutes. I’m not sure why he was ignoring us) he said he couldn’t tell us. We finally gave up with it then started looking around the room again he came over the speakers to try and get us to unlock the letter lock again. We expressed that we tried and the word we were sure it was he wouldn’t tell us if it was right or not and then he proceeds to tell us that you have to pull very hard on it. So once we did that with the word that we already had on it, it opened. I just don’t get why he didn’t tell us that yes the word we thought it was was right and to pull hard because it would’ve saved us so much time. We ended up getting out at 49 mins but we weren’t even excited and were more happy to be done and not have to deal with Gary anymore. He was not energetic, unenthusiastic, not helpful, not friendly... basically everything you don’t want a game master to be at all. It honestly felt like Gary didn’t want to be there at all. We won’t be going back for fear of having to work with him again.

Well thought out rooms, great staff . Our family have played all of the rooms and every one from an 8 year old to 65 year old were working together in a fun experience of cooperation, deliberation, and problem solving . A great way to learn life skills in an enjoyable manner . Thank you ! Looking forward to new rooms soon, as well - can’t wsit !!!!

Fun times in the Houdini room with our crew, including a 12 year old, two almost 11 year olds, and 5 year old. We escaped!

Our office went as a group to the Escape Room in Kingsport. Our game host, Heath, was awesome! We all had a great time and can’t wait to go back!

My experience doing the game ‘Taken’ at Escape Room Kingsport left me disappointed. As frequent escape room goers (8 to be exact), this room has been the only escape room so far that we have agreed is not worth the price.Employees did not greet us when we walked in; in fact, they looked like they’d rather be anywhere but there. I guess that same attitude continued throughout our game. When our clue sign was held up, it took quite a while to get a reply (especially when the clock is ticking). Even once our time ran out, we let ourselves out of the room as no one came to see us out. We were left just standing in the hall for what felt like forever.Now, back to the clues. Every other escape room we’ve attended has had some sort of policy allowing free clues or extra clues beyond the number allotted that simply add to your time. No such luck here. If you’re stuck, be ready to just walk around aimlessly. (At least you’re getting your steps in for the day!)Now, to the room itself -Let’s start with a disclaimer: don’t book this room if you’re not into looking at a bunch of dead animal props. As far as the other props in the room go, there were lots of useless, unnecessary and misleading props that didn’t add much to the setting. There were parts where there was inadequate lighting that made it difficult to do what was necessary to move on. In general, the clues were muddled and hard to understand. Needless to say, we were frustrated.We drove half an hour for this escape room hoping for something fun and wound up being disappointed. This experience left us not wanting to try any of the other rooms offered at Escape Room Kingsport.

The guides were great. The room was very challenging but we prevailed. Everyone should try this to strain your brain.

It was a lot of fun and Id do it again. However, there were key places that were too dark to see what we needed to see. At the end our host needed a flashlight to show us how one of the clues worked. I couldnt see it at all without the flashlight. Maybe some better lighting in places or a flashlight available in the room to use.

We did not make it out of the taken room, but we had so much fun we signed up to complete the virus x room the same evening. We did make it out of the virus x room. They were both challenging and fun with great game masters. Cant wait for the rooms to change and try new ones.

Do this for Chloe’s Birthday. The girls had a blast! I would recommend for sure and can’t wait to go back and do it again!

My family and I did Taken, and it was a blast. If you like puzzles, and dont mind some tension/fear, I cant recommend this enough. We cant wait to come back to try more scenarios!

My groups experience at this location was mediocre at best. The game was confusing and not especially fun. We played the Virus X. I didnt feel it was worth the money we paid at all. The game moderator wasnt helpful and didnt pay attention to us during the game when we needed clues and assistance. He was late in answering our questions and we had to wave at the cameras for a long while and shout his name to get his attention. That cost us time and added frustration. The clues provided were not delivered or communicated well to add much clarity at all. The game wasnt especially creative, mostly repetitive locks and boring number codes that were difficult to discover. Overall, it was highly disappointing & didnt inspire a good time. I have been to Tri-cities Escape room on State street in Bristol and they are top notch and super fun! I highly recommend them over this location any day.

We had a group of 7 who tried to escape from Virus-X. Although we made it to the final step, we werent quick enough. The tasks were very challenging, the host was very nice and helpful, and we will be back! Thank you for a fun experience!

Best entertainment you can get!. 3 different rooms to choose from and they said creating new ones for a bigger rotation. Price was good for how long you are there. Game lasts about 1 and a half hours including the briefing. Restrooms on site also.

Had a great time there. FYI, they dont actually lock you in the rooms. Winning involves figuring out the combination of the lock box on the inside of the door.
