Fabulous park! Its huge and has lots to do. Theres a disc golf course, tennis courts, a walking trail, basketball courts, picnic pavilions, corn hole boards, and multiple new playgrounds. Theres plenty of parking and shade as well. Its a great place to take the family.

I’ve been back on the circuit now for awhile. I still fancy a little basketball, however. Unfortunately, there is no rims for the basketball goals. The court looks to be in decent shape so it’s a shame. Nice little disc golf course for those getting back to form. When it’s crowded with walkers, tennis players, picnickers, it can get to be too much. All in all I will keep returning to practice and get that ace. Happy hunting.

We came through for the disc golf course, and really enjoyed ourselves! Short enough distances that its family and beginner friendly, but enough variation in shot shapes to stay interesting for more advanced players. Tee pads were a bit short, but not too bad.

One of our favorite spots in Kingsport. Peaceful, beautiful quiet. Great for getting away for a minute to breathe from stresses of life. Great spot for quiet picnic in middle of day.

Love the area!! My boys have always enjoyed playing here. I did too as a child. The newly upgraded playground is great!!

You can do your own thing, but definitely needs to be updated

We frequently visit Borden park for tennis practice. We always have such an awesome experience using Borden parksclean, nicely kept, and great for practice tennis courts. To be completely honest with you, i think that Borden parks tennis courts are far better than Dobyns Bennetts tennis courts. I have played at DBs courts and i got my tennis ball out of the court and into a truck bed. We always use Borden park and always will, just always excellent !

I love this place i can rember putting my initials in trees. And i can read some other people s name in these trees i grew up with . Luv it .

Great beginners disc golf course. Also great if you are coming back from a long break. Take a picture of the course map because it can be a little confusing at first. Great warm up round for Warriors Path too.

My son loves it, its the park we frequent most in Kingsport. Excellent for younger kids especially!

Safe playground. Had picnic but there was a lot of flies. Trash cans overflowing.

The park is nice...we went there to have a picnic. After getting the food out we had so many flies around that it was not enjoyable. I would not picnic there again.

From the looks of it it seemed like it was a pretty comfortable fun place to go real quiet neighborhood plenty of room to move around

Its a nice park since it has been updated. It has a lot of play ground things for children to play on.

I really like this park, lots of shade an places to sit or sit an eat. It also has a few activities for adult an child ..reason not 5 stars....port.a.potty yuk!!!

Very nice place for kids of all ages

Peaceful good place to hang out and let kids play but DONT take your attention off of them. You cant trust all people in that area so lock your car doors also. And beware of junkies walking. Not saying its the ghetto just stay alert while visiting.

Very good day park. Tennis, walking, biking, picnic tables and shelters, children playgrounds, hoops, large and roomy, has clean restrooms.

Strange people kept getting to close to my kids. Just weird vibe from certain ones. Even had a couple try to take pictures of my children. Will not ever be back.

Love the new additions to Borden Park. We take our 4 year old as much as we can. Its a wonderful place for them to run around and have fun.

Good park in the city however they need to clean up some of the trash or have volunteers or those for community service to clean it up but a great place to walk and enjoy the squirrels and birds. I would love to volunteer for cleanup

Best park in time love the work they did just needs a easily accessible source of water besides the creek. My damn dog loves it so do my kids. Who hates throwing discs? please tell me. Love that course.

The disc golf course is much improved but I still got lost on one hole. Nice map

A lot of work has been done here, and its very nice! Kids love the new playground additions, and I like that there are benches in the shade.

This place is growing so much. So many new things and their using the space theyve got building new equipment. The parts that are under construction are taped off, so no worries. Cant wait to see when its all finished! Thanks Kingsport for trying to make our little city great again.

Great park. They had plenty of playgrounds and things for the kids to play on. It was pretty clean with the exception of a bunch of down branches. The only thing I had problems with was the puppy bags were all gone in every station and the bathrooms were not stocked besides that we loved it and will be back. There was one smaller child who was using some foul language and was trying to pick on some other smaller boys but I quickly nipped that and he left and went home.

Lots of room and recreation

Ive been going to Borden Park with my children and grandchildren for many years. Ive also walked my dog here for many years.There are play equipment for all ages, picnic shelters, disk golf and walking trails. Its usually quiet and the grounds are well kept.

Live nearby, has improved in the last little bit.

It has a short but sweet frsbie golf course.

Its a nice place to go thats local. They have been making lots of updates in the last year. This park has been around for atleast 60 years and it seems to not be going anywhere

Fun disc golf course, a little technical but not too hard. Tends to be very wet after a recent rain.

Wonderful paved walking paths. Was a little busy when i visited but far from congested A great place to relax and walk safely.

Borden Park is a nice level park with a lot of beautiful, large trees. Well maintained with several covered picnic areas. I played 18 holes of frisbee golf here and would highly recommend this course for anyone that is looking for a place with no hills. My knees cannot handle a lot of other courses.

This is a nice public park with a easily accessible picnic area. It is covered and right next to the playground which makes it really nice to use for a party or just any day picnic with the kids. The playground is fun for the kids and there are water faucets for them if they get thirsty while playing. Overall its a great place to spend the day!

Really nice park. Multiple play areas for the kids and the equipment was well maintained. They also offer a frisbee golf course, walking trail and multiple covered areas with tables but, the thing that surprised me was they offer solar powered charging stations. We really enjoyed our visit.

Great place!

Grew up in this park as part of the summer parks program where teachers out for the summer supervised/coordinated activities. I was involved almost 60 years ago, was a wonderful place to stay all day. They have since obtained grants and renovated with playground equipment, frisbee golf, upgraded basketball court, walking trails, benches, picnic shelters, tennis courts. Kingsport has something to be proud of with a history that locals know well.

Theyve done a lot to Borden Park! It looks GREAT now now!! Im really excited to tell ya!

Family friendly park with a good 28 hole disc golf course.

The new playground is wonderful. I love how I can see my kids from any bench. I am glad we have a good park closer to school.

This place has updated a lot since I was there as a kid back in 2000, I love it and so thankful theres still a place from my childhood that Im able to take my son to!!

Great carousel swing deal, brand new playground for the kids, ton of swings, covered shelters, basketball court, walking paths, and disc golf course make this an awesome park! Not as full featured as warriors path, but will add it into our weekly rotation.

Recently updated with brand new playground equipment, courts, solar powered charging station, etc. Very nice!

The parks are so much fun and the path is good for pictures and relaxing your mind. I would recommend this park of stressed people or just to get out of the house.

Big open park for little ones up to adults, plenty of shade on hot days, nice place for a walk as well, tennis courts and basket ball courts.
