Its a nice place to walk it has place to drink an sit by the water and watch the wild life
Nice day to walk and loved the new addition..
Walk is great trail is well laid out. People really did not bother with mask or distance with a 5ft is wide trail thats not really healthy
And is pandemic world this is a great place to hang out in the evenings with the kids
One of my favorite places to walk so relaxing and calming even my kids enjoy it.
Beautiful, relaxing, exercise.
So nice and peaceful . Beautiful scenery along the river . Wildlife the whole way . Can walk, ride bikes or just sit at the numerous benches along the way . Asphalt and concrete walk way in extremely good shape . Very, very nice way to enjoy the day for the whole family . Strongly recommend .
Beautiful, wide trail. The first half mile is gravel, then it turns into a paved trail that runs along a creek. Very hilly first mile (so be careful when coming back to the trailhead, especially with a stroller). There are wooden benches at every quarter mile or so. There is a water fountain and a Porta Potty at the trail head. Gravel parking lot.
I go here to jog. I always enjoy the scenery and ducks as well.
The Kingsport Greenbelt is a pleasant, low impact walk. Its a well maintained, open path with parking access every mile or so. Great for jogging or an afternoon stroll.
I went here to walk. Did not realize bikes took priority. Did not enjoy the walk. I had to keep going off the path or risk getting hit by a bike.
Great asset to Kingsport !
I just moved to Kingsport in 2018 for work, and I live next to an entrance to the Greenbelt. It has been so nice because I’m from an area up north with beautiful trail access and wildlife and I was worried by how much I would miss it. It’s so nice to have a place I can easily access at my lunch break to unplug and listen to (and watch) the wildlife.
I love the Greenbelt. You walk or run, or ride bikes down a paved trail through beautiful areas of mountains, woods, and Reedy Creek.
I love the Green Belt. I hope Kingsport extends it one day soon.
Good place to walk run or bicycle, I normally walk parts of the Greenbelt all year long its a great place to walk the dog. Just use caution because some parts go through some rough areas.
Very nice trail featuring Reedy Creek, plenty of wildlife, bathrooms, benches, water fountains, several access points with ample parking. Kingsport has done an amazing job. Great for walking, running, cycling, etc. Especially like the boardwalk located at the parking area behind K-Mart. If you want to view several species of waterfowl all in one place, that is the place to go!
Awesome stretch of trail from Orebank to Kingsport. Can challenge most levels of fitness required. Peaceful environment with lots of animals moving about the trail and river. Beware of the occasional tree branches falling. Do not recommend during adverse weather conditions as large trees have fallen.
This is the eastern end of the Kingsport Greenbelt. There is a decent-size gravel parking lot, a water fountain, and a portable toilet. The first section of the Greenbelt from this parking lot is gravel as it goes downhill. Once it reaches the bottom of the hill, then the Greenbelt becomes paved.
Very good place for walking. Beautiful
Complete with port-a-potty and water fountain. Great place to walk, jog or bike.
One of our favorite places to run in the Tri-Cities. This end is a little hilly, the other pretty flat. The middle section through downtown isnt much fun, but both ends are wonderful. Great community resource.
The Kingsport greenbelt is an awesome place to get in a jog or walk in the warmer months. There is a creek that runs most of the length of the trail and lots of shade to keep it from getting too hot.
Beautiful area for walking
Biled it very fun
Great trail for walking or biking natural beauty
This trail is beautiful!
Awesome urban trail through the heart of Kingsport. Most of the time youd think you were deep in the woods. Ive literally ridden this trail hundreds of miles over the years.
Beautiful and quiet
Beautiful trail. Has great views of the river. Love visiting this place.
A neat place to exercise both mind and body.
The trail looks beautiful in the spring!
