I watched several Ghibli films here. That was cool. The alcohol and food service was a nice extra.

Excellent seating, drinks and food. I dont normally comment on the bathrooms, but the cleanliness and availability of bathrooms was amazing! The 4:1 ratio of theater rooms to bathrooms is so helpful when there are packed showtimes.For $9.50, ordering food to be delivered to you is as easy as pushing the button on your seats swing out tray table. Burgers have the option of 4 different proteins, including black bean burger for vegetarians, salads, desserts and drinks (alcoholic and non).I once attended solo and had a great time because I didnt have to settle for sitting in that single chair between 2 groups of people. I was able to reserve my seat at the ticket desk by choosing from the seating map showing the occupied vs available seats and chose one with a 2-seat buffer from others. The second time I attended with my daughter and her boyfriend the second time and the service and seat availability was just as good.I arrived exactly at the time posted for the movies showtime, but had plenty of time to settle in, because they said the actual start was 20 minutes later. So if you want to have the best chance of making sure youre not sandwiched in, go a little later.Parking is a little harder, since its sharing spaces with neighboring stores in the strip mall, but I was able to find a spot within 5 minutes.Id definitely recommend to solo and group viewers and will return when I next visit my daughter.

Love this place, the bartenders and the food, but sometimes the place has a weird smell.

The movie itself was amazing but we chose to go here so we could have the movie/dinner experience all in one. However the place was chaos when we arrived. The movies were running late and they wouldn’t even let us in to the theater until the start time of the movie. We arrived 20 minutes early like the website said and we were told to wait. We sat in the bar and had terrible service. When we finally were allowed to go into the theater, after the posted start time, we pressed the button for service. There were about 10 people total in the theater and the waiter took the people’s order in the front first. By the time he got to the row in front of us and our row he said he would be back with menus. After about 15-20 minutes the people in the front row got their food and the server informed the rest of us that the kitchen was closed! So the main thing that set this movie theater apart from the rest we couldn’t even experience. Super disappointing. We could have saved a ton of money and went to our local movie theater and would have had the same experience but actually would have been able to get popcorn.

Best theater experience of my life! No joke! The food is great. The seats were comfy. Everyone who works there is friendly and helpful. So much fun. It was not expensive either! I really wish this was in my hometown.

Well we went to see the doors celebration of ray manzarek, the theater was clean and comfortable service was fast and friendly. This was our first time ever trying this type of movie theater and, we had a very pleasant experience. Even though all of the ticket sales were on line and dont try to call we never got a answer after five or six tries. Once there they were very helpful. Food and selection are very good for a decent price.

Dumbo was good, not what I expected. The food was good. It came a little slower (30 minutes)than I thought it should.

Tried our Studio Movie Grill because I had a giftcard and it changed the way I wanted to see a movie. Being able to order food and get a refill from a button and not missing any of the movie was incredible. I thought doing a service like this people would be in the way but the servers know what they are doing and did an excellent job. This is a full experience and if you have a child this would be a great idea or you have a child at home and need a date night idea knock out dinner and a movie all at once. Im just saying I was impressed great job Studio Movie Grill.

They need a better system for delivering food to people. I got asked about 6 different times if I ordered something while trying to watch the movie. Wouldnt recommend going to see a movie you need to pay attention to because food is delivered the entire movie and people are constantly stepping over you. Great choice for kids because they can be a bit louder and nobody will notice. Otherwise, not the experience for me. Also, no stadium seating.

This well keep very friendly venue, that definitely meets the hype it promotes! Great food at a fair price that makes you wish all movies are longer! My family looks for to making it an regularly schedule family visit.

Great movie. {We saw Underwater}The four stars are because we wanted to order food, but we were told it would be done after our movie was over. The waiter said, it was because it was of Bad Boys; guess everyone was in there. {The young waiters were nice tho}.

Nice setting. Some nice people some are not. Popcorn and food is good. Floors and tables could be cleaner but overall not to bad for a theater. If you go, bring a jacket. It gets pretty chilly

The place is ran by teenagers which is fine, but whoever management is they need to step it up. I arrived 15 mins early for a 10:45 show on a Friday. I overheard staff telling guest they were not sure how fast they would receive there food and making excuses for the kitchen. I walked past several stations were food that was supposed to be delivered was just sitting out uncovered. Had a male friend with me he said the bathroom was disgusting, and so was the ladies room. Visiting from out of town I will never return. Staff members need better customer service training. And the mangers need to be more present. It looked like a mad house.

Great service food was hot and well prepared. Seats was comfortable. Had a great time. I like that they have a 5.00 Tuesday where you can watch any movie all day and night for 5.00. Great deal will return.

The employees seem to have bad communication with one another. The place seems to be under-staff as well. While ordering, we ask for a cup of ranch. It did not come with it therefore we asked again. It took 15 minutes and me getting up to save the trouble cause I get it you guys are busy and bouncing movie to movie taking orders. The employee seem like I am bothering them for getting out my seat to ask for the cup of ranch. I work in customer service industry for 7 years. You do not make a customer feel like a burden and treat everyone with respect. After this experience I will not be coming here nor recommending to anyone.

Food is terrible. Everything else was good. Chicken tenders were hard and then when I bit into it the chicken was stuck together I didnt even complain. I just didnt eat it. I know next time ear before I come or after I leave. Other then that the seats were nice and movie played well.

It was unique and fun! Prices were approximately what I would expect with a movie theater, the food was decent. I will come back here for sure.

Im not a movie goer. I didnt buy a big flat screen for nothing but I was pleasantly surprised by the clean comfortable & spacious interior at Studio movie grill. No waiting in line for yummy nom noms! No sore butt from hard seats! It was definitely a great experience.

I have allergies... I ordered a cheese burger with white cheese because Im allergic to yellow and fried with no seasoning because Im allergic to all spices. My order arrived inaccurate made with yellow cheese and piles with extra seasoning and after sending it back and waiting at least 40mins I received my order made the same way. None of our extra condiments requested were received. Poor service! Last time this happened we called the manger and he just argued about it. So, I didnt bother. Restrooms smelled awful... could smell in corridor. I will not return!

I would not give this place any stars But It would not let this go through with out any. The staff is young kids who smart off at the guests and alot of trouble makers who work there. I will never go back there. The GM is so stand offish you cant get any issues resolved. I will spend my money elsewhere.

I love this place but the food is wayyy overpriced. The pizza is the best value.. Enough for two people..but $5 for a soft drink and $3 for bottled water?!?! With no tap water option. I get it you pay that much at a regular theater but Im not buying dinner when I go there. Hell at Texas Roadhouse I only pay 2.99 and I see a server more than twice. Food is decent but not special.

The movie was great but about a quarter into the movie stopped for about 10 to 15 min to word on why and during that time the wait staff stopped coming around. When the movie started back up we missed that 10 or 15 min and they wouldnt roll my back for us to watch it. Then they didnt offer to compensate us after the movie.

Movie was good, however communication between servers and kitchen was horrible. Husband was told the were out of a main entree item and asked to choose another entree, 10 minutes later his original order comes out and they forget my entree entirely. Food and Drinks is not worth $50 . Highly recommend just getting your drinks and popcorn and leave it at that.

Its a good place to get good food and drinks while watching your movie. If only the quality of the movie screens and seating was better, itll easily be my go to for watching movies. Good enough for a matinee experience though.

Dinner and a movie! The food was amazing, not at all what I expected from a theater. Take sanitizing wipes with you for your table they didnt look like they were cleaned very well.

I watched Dragon Ball Super Broly here. My wife and I enjoyed cocktails at the bar. The drinks were very good. I ate the coconut shrimp while watching the movie and that was delicious as well. The service is great, having people serve you food while watching a movie is a great experience. I feel very boujee.

Horrible Experience... I have been very forgiving with this theater because its the closest to my home... The sewer smell that happens once a month, the alcohol beverages are always too sweet, and the food is hit or miss... But today took the cake!!! I will never return and would advise everyone who has any type of disability to avoid attending here. You will not be accommodated or communicated with properly.

Restaurant quality food, but the wait was a bit long. We didnt get our food until halfway through the movie. Excellent customer service and great quality theater though. Fun times, but not on the cheap side for food.

The food was really good. However, in recent years the level of service Ive gotten here has severely dropped.From when I pressed the button for service to when I got the food, it took 80 minutes. Ive been here on opening weekend for major block buster hits such as days of Future past and the service Ive had recently is so poor its beyond words.I checked with a manger and they stated they didnt properly anticipate the needs level. Thats garbage, frozen 2 and beautiful day in the neighborhood are major movies.I dont even have words to say how dissatisfied I am. All we have been offered is an apology.

This place was dirty and use to be a clean environment. Sevice was super slow. Ordered food and didnt get it until 20 min before the show was over and by the time they brought me my drunk the ice had melted completely.

Great theater. Large, comfy seats. Last two times I’ve been in, the service was a little slow. Had my service light on for 30 min before being greeted. Others arrived after me were being served first. Food and drinks are always good.

Went here on multiple occasions, the food has been more than disappointing. Its cold every time because like all the other comments, it sits outside for a good amount of time. So much potential wasted. Saw that the popcorn is regular microwave brand too..at least be discreet about overcharging ppl for it instead of pouring it in the bowl right in the hall smhh

I don’t post a lot but I saw the trolls were hard at work here so I thought I would jump in. I LOVE this place. It is not the newest, but I love the staff. The food is good, the screens are big and clear, sound is good. Again it is not the TOP in any category but near the top in all of them! I drive past 3 theaters to get here. I especially love the diversity of clientele, such great people, I love being counted among them!

Never just show up expecting to see a movie its opening week 9.9 times out of 10 it will be sold out. Which also makes there stupid idea of free movie passes pointless if you cant even use them before they expire. Food and drinks are over priced and half the time they screw up your order

How are you telling customers that the kitchen is not serving food or drinks on Valentines Day!!! Then inside the movies you have Amy the manager shouting at us customersThat if we order food it’ll take an hour andIf we order a drink it’ll take 30 minutes. It’s not our fault that your under staffed on a Friday and on Valentines Day! Don’t yell at us customers because you’re frustrated with your job.

I love this place! A movie and great food and drinks! The $5 Tuesdays make is EVEN better! Im a huge fan and will recommend to everyone!The only issue I had was I went to the bathroom up front one of the stall doors (the one next to the handicap stall) didnt stay shut. There was not even a piece that the latch fit in to keep the door locked/closed. Other than that the bathroom was clean and stocked.

Terrible service! We ordered food and waiting 1.5 hours to get it. Heck we had to remind the waitress about the food. Didn’t even have our regular drink. We waited 1.5 hours the movie was almost over, then she came over like...let me check on it! We knew it was forgot, no apology no anything. Then when the check came, I couldn’t write a tip or anything...no pen. She came back to us like we don’t have your card in file. I saw her swipe out card 3 times. We checked our bank statement it listed a charge for $1.00. So they had it, then she never came back. I still tipped her even though I really shouldn’t. I’m not that petty, but no apology again. Like come on.....least you could do is say sorry for the confusion your all set! We won’t be back but accountability is all I ask! Your employee needs to display this characteristic right or wrong.

Its a great place and lots of co workers love it but I always have a long long wait on food I never get refills I ask for and they are always out something I wanna order I have visited four times and was dissatisfied with the services each time my wife tried ordering e different meals when we saw End Game and they was out of everything except burgers

Husband and I came here for a date night. The waiting area was a little chaotic and unorganized. When we got to our seats they were filthy! My cup holder had old food in it, there was food down in the cracks of the seat, spilled food in the side of the arm rest and old dried food on the tabletop. Overall the whole place was dirty but we already paid for tickets ahead of time so we tried to have a good time. Drinks are almost $5 a piece and we never even got a refill! So $5 for 1 glass of soda... over all not a good experience and was expensive!

My daughter and I have seen several movies at the College park location. On October 17 2019 we decided to go see Zombieland: double tap. We were first in theater, first to order. We received our entrees, I asked about our drinks and appetizers. Received our drinks 15 minutes after our food. Received appetizer when we were almost finished with entrees. Never received our desert. Paid with cash, and waitress shorted me $10 in change.. I guess she made sure to get her tip lol.. but usually we have always had good service and good time..

When it comes to movie theaters, Studio Movie Grill is always one of my top favorites. The food is good and the ticket pricing is very reasonable. The employees there are very attentive and friendly. I definitely recommend!

Its a great place to eat & watch movies but Id recommend staying on the many employees trying to pick up around the building when and if they find themselves bored whilst on the clock. Otherwise..I love this place and will return.

So I like the idea of eating while you watch a movie. I dont like paying more than my meal should cost. They do have $5 movie Wednesdays which is cool, and makes up for the overcharge in food. With that being said I enjoyed my chicken bites and felt like they did give a good amount of food. Its nice that you can press a button and they will come and give you a refill when needed. I recommend you trying it out if interested. You might love it or you might not. All up to your preferences and expectations.

Always a great time here they just need to work on there team work and human errors no way we ordered chips salsa and queso dip but didnt see the cheese until the movie and chips was almost gone had to ask for it four times. Just sad for a $81 dollar snack between 4kids and 2adults

Fire the manager. Food and trash strewn about the corridor. Kitchen smelled. Staff left drinks and food on workstations out in the open. The volume was deafeningly loud (and Im hard of hearing). Obnoxious commercials before the film. Had to ask 5 times and wait 30 minutes for a $5 diet Pepsi. The seats were comfortable and the film great, but Ill never go to another SMG or franchise. Checkout Flix Brewhouse if you dont want to feel emotionally and psychologically assaulted.

Took my niece to seen frozen 2 and I had the worst experience. Ordered food it didn’t come out until the end of the movie Didn’t get my drink. I asked for a refund and had to wait about 20 mins for the manager to give me my money back. The bathrooms were very dirty. I do not recommend this place to anyone.

They value of the food has decreased and the service has dropped off since they originally opened. If youre only wanting to experience a good movie then it qualifies as an experience.

The theater was clean and the staff was nice but the overall setting is disruptive. Having to have a waitress just for popcorn is a pain. And them coming up and down the aisles talking at full volume is just a bad situation. I could also hear music and noise from the theater next to ours. I wont be going back.

The actual website listed 10:45 pm for a movie, so we drove all the way there and immediately noticed the movie time was not listed on the board. An employee stated that I was incorrect and I proceeded to show her the listed time on the website. She then stated that the manager must have changed the times. -____- Didn’t offer anything or seen empathetic.

This place isnt too bad but they seriously need a different set up for collecting on the check. The girl insisted we settle up the check during the last few minutes of the movie. Excuse me but we paid to also see the movie not be bothered to pay the bill while still eating and watching the movie. Also brought us stuff we didnt order and someone from our group opened a bottle of wine we didnt order thinking it was ordered by another in our group. We didnt drink it as we discovered their mistake quickly. It was for ppl in a different row...we were still made to pay for it even though we didnt drink it nor did we order it. If we had consumed it that would have been different but thats not how they saw it. We paid for it but we werent happy about it. It was a $25 bottle we didnt order!!! Be careful if you eat here that whats on your bill is actually what you ordered and received.

The service there is great. Ticket prices are good. The quality of the food is lacking and needs to improve to increase sales. The seats are everything but comfy, but arent bad enough to be basically wooden boards. I would recommend it just for the movie and maybe some popcorn and/or soda.

Very enjoyable experience. Food and movie were great. Kids fries were just the right temp. I didnt have to worry about the little ones burning their tongues. Popcorn was excellent and was brought out minuets after we ordered it. We had ages 2 to 67 with us. All enjoyed the evening.

So throughout our times in coming here over 3 years weve received 1 star to 4 star service. Once, my parents, husband, and sister all went to see The Last Jedi and ordered full entrees and drinks. My parents NEVER got their food after we paged them twice, and I stepped outside (missing the movie) twice, trying to have someone rectify the situation. On the fourth encounter the server looked at me and asked what Id like him to do about it. I was appalled. As a previous server and a cosmetology instructor I teach my students to provide respect and professionalism. We were also charged for the food we never got. I WILL SAY: we finally got a hold of a manager and he did a fantastic job apologizing and understanding our situation. He truly did his best to make it up to us with coupons/tickets, as well as his demeanor. So that situation was taken care of as best as possible but its a memory that stains the reputation a bit.I will also say weve had very pleasant interactions with attentive servers and have gotten our food and drink very quickly. It has definitely gotten better in the last couple months. Its hard to say by how much because were hesitant to go.Whenever we go now its usually for the $5 matinee tickets and possibly pretzels or popcorn to snack on. Anything else we havent tried again due to previous encounters. Im happy to change the rating as time goes on, but again were hesitant to try as frequently, so things may have changed more for the positive than I know.

The customer service is great, decent food. If you need to use the restroom, do so before you visit or go somewhere else because it smells like hot sewage in their bathroom.

Absolutely terrible service. It took about 30-45min from when we first pressed push for service before someone arrived, then another 1-1.5 hours before we got our food. I was worried the movie would be over before we got our food. They brought us the appetizer after we got our regular food, then charged us double for the appetizer. Will never come here again.

The movie theater is nice and pretty clean. The bartender who made our drinks I believe was in training but you would not have known it except for his name tag stating that. He was very polite and friendly and made some damn good drinks. The young man who took our orders was friendly and on point.

They take to much time for service to you the food and they while they are doing that they interrupt the movie. Because they are taking with you while they are taking your order.

This is a great place I love it here! I can see me just going here to relax even if I dont get to view a movie, it has a nice relaxing kind of vibe. They ran out of food for my order and I was over charged. The money was refunded back to me. I think the prices should be a little lower for the portions you get but hey its the movies. I love that you can get your food delivered to you while watching the movie oh and drink responsibly

I have ordered avocado toast and 2 beers. The avocado toast was way below my expectations and hard to eat. They have brought the beers after I asked again and they have charged me for 4 beers. In the end they have refunded me for the 2 beers but I had totally bad experience. Never going to order anything here ever. I m very disappointed with the service.

I love this place its not just for adults and my granddaughter wants to make this place a weekly treat over the summer. Did I forget to mention that Tuesdays are $5 movie day and this company gives back to the community. Everyone should come and enjoy!!!

Very, very dirty. Ordered drinks and popcorn 30 minutes before the movie started and they came 15 minutes after the movie started. They need to get a professional cleaning crew in there and spend a few days cleaning, then retrain the staff.

Wouldve been a perfect Saturday night date if this company had their stuff together. Went to see Harriet and they NEVER brought out my food order. Afterwards I did let mgmt know I would not refer anyone there.

Wed been here before and really enjoyed it but this time was different. The chairs were dirty with lumps of dried ketchup on the arm rest. It took over 30 minutes to get a bag of candy (which wouldnt have seemed bad if there werent people getting pizzas & cooked food delivered to them that had come in after us) and despite the massive aisles, the server kept hitting our chairs every time he passed behind us for any reason.

Can’t give it zero stars unfortunately! This place is a classic bait and switch compared to the seats in the lobby for display. The chairs are uncomfortable and don’t recline like most other similar places (and that’s after I switched from the office chairs with no padding in the back), waited over 20 minutes after pressing the button for service in the seat next to mine since I didn’t have one, and to top it off, the staff was very rude. Spend a few bucks less and go to Flix Brewhouse to get more. You’ll be glad you did. It’s the generic version of Flix but in an alternate universe.

Very comfortable with good food. The service was very slow when ordering in th theater. Quick tip, order at the bar about 15 mins before your movie for no interruptions and quick service.

In the beginning this was a great theater. However, the last two times I’ve gone have been less than satisfactory. In January they were out of cups so we waited almost the whole movie for a drink that we had already paid for. I had to go out there to find out why we weren’t getting a drink. And then last night we went and they were out of popcorn. How does a theater run out of popcorn!? The theater is becoming run down fairly quickly. I’m disappointed and will find somewhere else to enjoy the occasional movie from now on.

Studio Movie Grill since the incident where they loss power and they had us sitting in the movie theater for quite a while in anticipation of a movie that would never happen.I believe they lost power due to an unfortunate situation maybe someone hit a transformer as I recall.I felt like it would have been better for them to have just completely closed down on that day and although it was nice they reissued tickets hand written on a little white card and heck I do not even know what I did with that any longer. I know some folks were noted a free ticket or admission and food too for a future visit.They must have missed the free meal notation on mine.Up to that point I had attended the movie studio grill a couple of times prior.My experiences have never been wonderful.I do believe all of the drinks are wayyyy overpriced and nothing I have ever ordered has been made correctly. The bloody mary I ordered was the worst. Tasted like (watery) shrimp cocktail sauce on a whole lotta ice --- yep it had a ton of ice in my bloody mary which I thought was odd ...never bothered to have anyone take it back or fix it --- I just ordered the overpriced foster beer of course that is in a can and a safer alternative.The food is most definitely sub par and not quite restaurant quality but priced at the same price points as if they were actually serving real restaurant quality food. Not worth the money at all.I find the theater to be a bit worn down and the seats are not very comfy and there is always an icky feeling I get when looking at the theater floors and the tables as if none of those get cleaned at all.The restrooms are beyond filthy and the smell is just plain horrible and regardless of how many other reviews they will read about the bathrooms being an issue they will not make any changes ....if I drive to theater today the floors and tables will still be dirty and the bathrooms will still be nasty and the leather chairs are still not comfy and some are already looking delapidated ...they have not replaced any aging chairs.They reply to all of the reviews in a generic form letter format...ughh...I just spent 30 minutes addressing my concerns here to still have to forward my complaints to the generic guest service email they tell everyone to respond to...LOL...they want me to re type everything again...are u kidding me...I do not wanna even copy and paste this same review just to send it to that generic guest service email address and all of the replies just sit days in an email que waiting to be deleted and a few will be addressed I mean it has to appear they (smg) are making some effort in addressing some of these folks complaints or concerns.... LOL ha ha yep alrighty then.My suggestion to others is to stay at home get on the internet search out alternative websites who cater to new released or current cinema released films and stay at home and save yourself a bit of money and probably a lot more peaceful movie watching experience.I hate the service staff constantly in the way to take orders or deliver food and the constant interruptive theater environment is a bit much (IMO). I almost have no desire to even do the theater anymore.No --- I would not recommend this movie theater and I predict a future closing of this theater down the road with their continued efforts in creating terrible movie goer experiences and not addressing major concerns such as the lack of overall theater cleanliness and the nasty bathrooms and OMG they smell terrible and the delapidated seating --- UMMM the most uncomfortable seating ever.When I do get a wild hair to do a night out at a movie theater with food options I have seen mentioned in a few other reviews I will try Flix Brewhouse ? I assume if that is in carmel it will be nice because they would never have a nasty movie and food theater environment in that locale.Nevermind the board of health in reference to Movie Studio Grill ... I feel they are lacking for sure.

It took a while to get our food and even after asking 3 times they never brought our popcorn. They did however refund the money. Seats are wore down and could use some TLC.

Go there once a month and enjoy a movie. We like the idea of having reserved seating and being able to take food and drinks purchased there into the theater.
