My kiddos love this place. We have been many times this summer. Great family fun and affordable. P.s the cream cheese pretzel at the concession stand is the best!

OPEN DAY, NOT VERY CROWDED AFTER 3PM. JUST THE WAY I LIKE IT. HAD A FUN HOT DAY. DONT FORGET TO BRING THE SUN SCREEN. ONLY THING THAT ID SAY THAT SHOULD CHANGE IS TO HAVE MORE LOUNGE CHAIRS. NEVER ENOUGH.

Kids always have to have fun. the bathrooms and showers are very clean so plan on showering at home. The rest of the facility is clean

It is a wonderful place to go to the pool, take family members and children. Things like that, although I feel like they need to make it a little larger. Do some renovations because I went on a weekday where it was moderately crowded and I really dont want to see how absolutely packed it is on Saturday and Sunday.

Salt City Splash is a nice place to go and cool down on a hot day. Its fun to go down their slides and jumping off their diving boards. Love how they have a adult/ teen pool, Kid pool, and a baby pool with a playground. They have good food and a reasonable price for their food. I highly recommend this place to go in the summer!

Great staff inside a clean facility offering safe and family oriented fun in the sun. Bring sunscreen and keep your children within arms reach please, the lifeguards are great but they are the last defense against drowning. Swimming suit is required, and check if they have metal grommets or beads, as these must be taken out before you can go down the righteous water slides. No outside food or drinks, there is a concessions stand. Admission is pretty cheap for a water park. Highly recommend visiting the splash!

Love this place! Been going here since I was little. Lifeguards are great as they take their job seriously. Admission is very reasonable, concessions is probably their moneymaker so if you dont plan on spending much on food(or you have nagging kids!) definitely eat before you go.

As Community Aqua centers go this is definitely one of the best in the country. They have multiple pools for multiple ages lots of different apparatus in the kids pool they have a pool just for the 2 Aqua tubes that will Splash you into their own private pool. And the large pool has both a short and tall diving board as well as some Lanes that are buoyed off just for people wanting to do laps which is very nice so you can do laps without running into kids that are playing. It also has two basketball hoops at the shallow end and a large nicely manicured lawn area in the park surrounding the pools. The only negative that I can find is if they close much too early, usually at 6:30 every evening and I for the life of me cannot understand why they are not open later.Overall this Hutchinson Aqua Center gets a 5-star rating. I have been to hundreds of tools across the country in my lifetime and this is one of the better pools I do not give out 5 star ratings lightly.FYI I would also give the entire Municipal Park area here a 5-star rating because it also includes an 18-hole Golf Course a few blocks away which was very nice, very reasonably priced, and well maintained, as I just finished playing it.... and a zoo right down the block as well. I am quite impressed with this community park in a town this small.

Weve been here for group swim lessons and private. My kids are new to the pool and the swim instructors were very patient and helpful. I fully believe private swim lessons are worth the price you pay there. Group sessions you get about 6 minutes of the 30 minutes with your child per lesson.

Was very impressed with the response and emergency care given to a child requiring medical attention after suffering a laceration to his foot. I also witnessed the responce to a child who had wandered into deeper water, became overwhelmed and needed immediate assistance and attention. The response of your staff in those situations shows excellence in training and dedication to safety.

Nice enough place, but will NOT let in grand parents in to watch without paying FULL PRICE!

It is a good pool

I have 5 young children. The areas for them were great. Not too deep for my non-swimmers. Lots of activites (slides, sprayers, floats, act.) to keep them interested for hours. Baby area was nice, as well, for my eight month old.

I had to pay to watch my grandchilren. I dont swim anymore.

Theres much fun to be had here for all ages. The guards keep a good eye out too.

I honestly love this pool. There is plenty to do. The food is good. Theres a playground and an area for little bitty kids. They have a time on saturdays cor the elderly and kids under 8.My main issue with the place is the price. $5 each isnt that bad.... Unless you go often. Which I planned on. So I looked into their summer passes. I have a pass at the Sedgwick County Zoo. So I figured why not get one for the pool.Now lets break this down. A pass that lasts a FULL year at that zoo for me and my husband is $99. My son is free but next year wont be. Then we will pay $130 FOR A FULL YEAR at a zoo that consistently takes us 3 hours to get through. We go every month.At Salt City Splash they do not have family passes. Only individual ones. A pass FOR JUST ME is $70. This pass gets you like one week of May and August and all of June and July. That us $70 FOR LESS THAN 3 MONTHS. Tack on that my son will be 3 next year and his pass would be $30. That is $100 FOR LESS THAN 3 MONTHS access. We would have to go at least 3 times a week the entire summer. It would come to $170 if we also got a pass for my husband.That is some ridiculous pricing....So while I like the place. The fact that their pricing on passes is so ridiculous just kinda made me not bother going. I max wanted to go two times a week. And their pricing kept me from bothering.

This place is kid friend for young kids. Took my kids to kenwood and Salina and it was a joke. My 7 year was very disappointed she couldn’t go down a slide there. But here at the salt city splash she can go down the slide. My kids love this place

Always a great family day and I love the season passes it makes me happy that we can enjoy hours of fun together for all the ages of our kids

The pool is well maintained. Shower and bathrooma are clean. Lots of fun for the whole family. Toddler/infant area is fenced with gate so there is less worry. Also nice playground and concession area to enjoy.

This public pool has two diving boards, two slides, a kiddie pool, adult swimming pool, and a pool for those in-between. The water is always nice and staff is nothin but cool! You will definitely enjoy the experience.

Such a nice facility. I wasnt there very long, and just visiting Hutch, but it was a nice break from the heat at clean and friend pool.

At the end of every swim season they let the dogs have a turn to swim!
