Nice place to take my littles with special needs where we can get in and out quickly if the need arises. The zoo has seen better days, but... its free so cant complain too much.

The otter exhibit at the zoo recently opened and it is nice.The zoo has been cleaned up and painted and the grounds are in good condition. The animal exhibits are small and sparse but the animals are well cared for.

As a kid, one of my joys was riding around the park as mom drove through it. Still nice, although the animals are now at the Zoo.

It would be a beautiful park but it is so dirty and unsafe. Ive found needles on play areas and theres so much broken glass... not even worth the risk.

Had a great time yesterday at Carey Park Zoo! Looks so pretty and fun for kids! Anxious to see new exhibit when you get done.

Carey Park has something for everyone, be they children or adults. I believe it hides perhaps its best content behind a large dike - the beautifully flowing Arkansas River, small strips of woodland, and a constantly changing riverbank. I have fond memories in this area of playing guitar with friends as we stargazed long into the night, dreaming about the future. Go off trail. Explore. There is so much more than meets the eye here.

Peaceful atmosphere to just sit an chill or walk a path for exercise. Can fish one of the ponds or the Arkansas river. A small zoo for kids. Lots to do there.

Fun to go fishing at the pond. Caught a few tonight. Was a nice night outside, beautiful stars out in the sky and fish biting. A fishermans dreams.

Huge park with a lovely biking/walking trail (with vistas of the river!), a community pool, well-kept baseball fields, a zoo, golf course, and disc golf course! I wish all city parks were like this!

Nice big park with plenty of things to do. The park had fishing ponds, sand volleyball, basketball court, baseball fields, skate park, disc golf, golfing course, zoo, public pool, multiple playgrounds, a bike/running trail that runs around the park and to rice park and a fountain.

Great place to take the kids and play on the equipment, visit the petting zoo or relax at the fishing pond.

The park was absolutely beautiful. I really enjoyed seeing the friendly ducks walking near me and the geese and ducks swimming in the water.

During the day its pretty great, however it gets quite rapey at night

I travel for business to Hutchinson and just discovered this gem. The 2.4 mile loop around the golf course and along the Arkansas River is a great place to exercise after work. I am looking forward to a round of golf in the future.

Went to a Monarch ballgame. Fun evening reasonable priced concessions. Good family fun.

Its a very nice place to visit. Very calming and soothing. Lot of ducks and geese. Which is also nice. I had a great time there. If you want some peace. This is a great place to go. I wouldnt see why anybody wouldnt like this place. It is beautiful and serene. It makes me miss home. The water is so relaxing. I just love the environment there. Definitely recommend.

Golf course has had many renovations the past several years. Good course to play for a novice to intermediate player.

Peaceful & Lots of areas for picnics, family reunions...etc. Feeding the Ducks was a good time.

I pulled over to the Carey Park fountain to return some work calls, thinking that I could enjoy some scenery while on the phone. Wrong. A minivan pulled up beside me, thinking I was someone else... I paid no attention until they drove to the other side of the fountain next to another car and I watched the most blatant, carefree drug deal in the history of drug deals go down. They even watched me watch them. Keep it classy Hutchinson!

For this size of a town its a fantastic fantastic Park

Free Great area for all the family and ages.One big area you can find Golf, frisbee, a lake,the local swimming pool(admission), the free zoo that takes donations if youd like, 5 children play areas Ive discovered, ECT!If there was something I could change would be lawn maintenance, the stickers are real bad right now.

Its a really nice big park, golf course, disc golf course, lots of playgrounds all over, even a few baseball fields, sadly they blocked the spot everyone would park at to get to the river, I personally dont go there much now because thats the spot we always went, but its still a super great park and theres also a bunch of bridges around the water good for pictures.

Carey Park has a multitude of play areas, a golf course, a swimming pool, a small zoo with indigenous type animals. Lots to do!

Great places for a variety of activities. We picnic here on occasion, either near the lagoon or just past the ball fields. Usually enjoy a walk and the kids always have somewhere to play.

A peaceful place to unwind, feed the ducks, have a picnic or enjoy a walk or take in the zoo.

Whether you’re here to walk/ along the river, sit at a park bench and relax Carey Park really does have the perfect set up.

I wouldnt go the length to say or call this a tourist attraction. But, it is a great place to go let the kids play

A pretty nice place to visit. Good place to fish, watch the birds, play a game of soccer, football, or baseball. Borders the Arkansas River, a nice place to swim in the summer. Also borders the water park. All around tranquil and casual as a parks should be.

I enjoy driving thru the park and remembering the times my grandmother took us to feed the animals along the road. Not sure it was an official zoo in the 1970s. The ponds and walking trails are a great way to spend some time with those you love.

Beautiful, well taken care of, and plenty to do. Fish, free zoo, walks, salt city splash, scenery, head over the dike for fun in the river. And plenty of playgrounds for the kiddos!

I take my 3 year old grandson to the zoo and he loves it.

My granddaughter has a goose that runs up to her and wants to be held lol we take them recycled bird seed from my clients Parakeet and cockatiel. Its the same one each time I love it and the waterfall is a perfect place to take pics

I needed out of the house, so I bagged Burger King and drove to Carey park to eat it.Then I fed some geese.

Its in Hutchinson ks. There is 4 good things in Hutchinson ks,and thats 4 ways out of town....just my opinion

Took a nice walk through the park today was nice out park looked well kept. Vehicles were mindful of foor traffic. Police patrols making a safe experience.

This is a beautiful gem tucked away in Hutchinson!! We enjoyed walking around the lakes in the park and then went to the zoo!! Most of the animals were awake and playing or eating. What an awesome area!!

There for a wedding. The bride was the sister of a good friend. The area they had was private and very quaint. Nice restrooms. Beautiful spot for small family gathering.

Great place to take the kids for a full day of fun. They have the zoo, the playgrounds, the golf course, the river and the pool.

The park is huge and very clean with plenty of walkways and benches to sit on. We love watching the ducks and turtles. There are baby ducks there this year!
