Clean, great baseball and lacrosse fields. Beautiful basketball courts. Decent amount of parking.

Great fields for baseball, soccer or lacrosse. The track was nicely laid out with exercise equipment. Pleasantly surprised.

This park has a major insect problem! Beautiful park to allow it to be overtaken with ground bees.

We came here for the fall festival. It was a great time. 3 bounce houses set up for the kids. A bit of trick or treating as well.Craft booths for the wife and her mom.A good time was had by all.

It was great but the concession stand closed early and we had 2 baseball games back to back so if you didn’t have snacks with you then you were out of luck. Other than that the fields were good and park was nice.

Very clean rec center. I visit weekly. Love that it opens early. I also like that they added the outdoor gym with resistance training equipment. The staff is always helpful and friendly and did I mention how clean its kept?

Great field, the turf field looked very nice. The dirt fields were also very good and the warm up area for the batting cage was very nice. The bathrooms were clean with a good snack shop as well. Great environment to play at and a very well run field.

Absolutely nice park I love the environment I love how clean it is I feel as though my children are safe on the playground. There isnt any trash or dead plants. It all looks well kept together Im grateful to the parks and rec employees who maintain the beautification of this park

New to NC Im from Cleveland oh and this park beats Cleveland oh park by far!! Kid friendly and adult friendly too!!! Love outdoor work out area great!!

I love the setup here. Playground outside for my younger kids to play on when my older ones werent competing in the rec center.

Very nice athletic park. Watched a few games here. Constantly hitting foul balls into the backs of the crowd which wasnt great.

I play kickball here! But the fields could be slightly better maintained.

I do volleyball and we have our practice and games at the Athletic Park. The inside is super clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful!

Parking gets filled up quickly on weekends

Lights on field #4 are not as bright as the other fields need to up date, concession closes to early, not prepared for late games after five. Bathrooms need to be updated and cleaned .

Two plaugrounds for young and older kids, bothbfenced in, lots of sport events available here and in indoor basketball court for rainy days, walking trail, clean public bathrooms.
