Lame. Just an old water tank. Hot and humid inside. If you want to stand In hot humid weather to see an old concrete structure you can pretty much go anywhere in Houston no need to go here.
Great family outing and a great tour guide !
Best mangonada Ive had in a while here! The slide was awesome and there is fun here for all ages. Will definitely be back
My wife and I came here after Houston opened parks after the quarantine. We had a tour of the underground cistern, everyone practiced social distancing and we felt safe, wearing our masks of course. Once thi gs go back to normal Ill bring my kids too.
Cool place to tour. Recommend doing a free tour of the cistern underground. Tour is ~30 mins.
A unique and interesting experience inherently ingrained with Houston history. Its a slightly different experience each time I go. Everyone should go AT LEAST once!
This is a unique and interesting place. I recommend this for visitors and long term residents equally. Everyone gets something positive out of the experience.
Loved it here this is my neighborhood grew up here all my life and the changes they made are awesome
Me taking picture of her inside cistern
This was the meeting place for the 2020 Womes March standing for all things fostering tolerance, unity, solidarity. Oh, and yes of course, that women need to take over the world!
Awesome tour guide and great information.
Perfect place to work out . I wish the restrooms were open earlier .
This hidden gem is an incredible spot. Ive lived in Houston for over 20 years and never knew this existed until recently. The weekend that I was here, it was really cold and windy, but I imagine its much nicer in the Spring. I think you can rent this area out for parties since my cousin had a party here for his daughter. Definitely a great place to hang out or for a picnic.
It was a spacious park and we took kids out to have a picnic lunch and they loved it.
Beautiful park, they really do a nice job of keeping it up. Great for running or climbing (youre not supposed to climb).
Beautiful ambience for a nice walk.
Interesting and reasonably priced tour of the cistern! A must see
Something a little different, took the tour for $5, well worth it
Had a blast working Oktoberfest here! Really nice place & in a good/convenient area!
Awesome history and beautiful
Do not miss the Cistern, guided visit to know the awesome history of the Houston Water System
The best place to go for nature activities in houston. Take a boat ride down the bayou or rent bikes!
So good to enjoy a Saturday evening.
This is an excellent space for an event or small festival. I did not visit the cistern art exhibit but I did attend an event at this space and was very impressed.
Awesome place close to Downtown. Great at night with the Skyline behind.
Nice place for family time also berry clean place
Great park, could use a coffee shop
Fun historical tour of Houstons underground water supply.
Beautiful Scenery! Grat area
I like when they did the Palestinian Festivals the space is great but we had hard time finding parking
Great outdoors space for events, bring lots of sunscreen though!
Great guides and interesting history!
My favorite photo spot for Houston sunsets
An amazing park view, many things to do
Went to see tree there for a event that was held for kids
Tre Day 2019 was great and the park Was perfect with a huge skate
This area is bustling with joggers, cyclists, various food trucks, and textures of green space and plants to enjoy. An upper level provides a unique vantage point over the park and has a good view of the downtown skyline. Picnic tables provide refuge for a quick lunch or snack with friends or coworkers.
Loved the tour very interesting.
Events, music, fun

Great venue for concerts Fun Rins and festivals
Went to the Houston Wine Fest here a couple weeks ago. What a beautiful venue! Great view of the Houston skyline with a huge lawn and stage.
OK, but dont expect Munich Oktoberfest.
Izzie was so helpful!!! My daughter and I got lost in the park after a 2 hour walk. Our feet were hurting and we couldn’t find our car. Izzie came by on her cart with a big smile. She was super helpful and took us back to our car.—Jeanne Brunckhurst
