This was something new and different. The virtual reality experience was so much fun for me, my partner and nephews who enjoyed since the beginning to the end. I would definitely recommend it to anybody who wants to do something completely different and have lots of fun. The place is very nice and clean. Go give it a try and live your own experience!
Amazing place. I went here with my sister and it went waaay past our expectations! We did Mission Sigma and won. It was so realistic and so much fun, literally had us screaming. The place was extremely clean and sanitary. Plus the lady at the front was so nice and helpful. 10/10 would recommend to everyone!
Everything was so much fun! The only reason why I give it 4 stars is because I thought it would be more action involved in the Jungle Quest but instead it was more of a thinking type activity. My husband wanted to hunt animals but instead it was a obstacle course type gaming experience. Overall extremely fun, and definitely will do again!
Exitus was a great experience for my family. Dora was very kind, caring, and outgoing with making sure we were all taken care of. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a fun virtual reality experience! Thanks again Dora for being so kind, and accommodating to my family and our guests !
We had a blast! Amazing place and very good and kind hearted people. Will definitely recommend and return!
Took four kids between 10 -18, one of which has autism and we all had a blast. Dora was so sweet, patient, and helpful to my daughter with autism, I couldnt be more grateful. Not to mention helping ME when I started getting dizzy from the Escape Room. The facility is very clean as well. We will definitely be back.
So fun! The hard levels were quiet long and they have the most updated equipment!
Dora and the gentlemen working with her really helped make this a fantastic experience! A group of 4 (2 children) did the survival mission and it was a blast. Would definitely recommend and plan to visit again
This place is a diamond in the rough. The escape rooms are all VR and the experience is nothing like Ive done before for escape rooms. Played a jungle VR that we completed in 40 minutes and will be back again.
Its a pretty hole-in-the-wall place for games (like you might miss the entrance if youre not paying attention). The place looks pretty neat though, kind of like an escape room vibe. They offer plenty of games and the like. Theres a locker to keep your valuables, which was appreciated. Its a little pricey but if youve never played VR before and wanna try it out, you should! But if you play often, Id suggest buying it for your own instead as itd be the equivalent of going to this place 4 or 5 times
We had my sons 10th birthday party here and it was awesome. Everything was set up for us, all we had to bring was the food. I got some vr action in as well with the other gamer parents of gamer kids lol. Definitely one of the best party decisions I have ever made.
I took my wife and her 2 best friends on her birthday. We had a blast, and loved every minute of it. Dora was sweet, and very helpful during the game mind horror. It was all our 1st time doing VR and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. I recommend this place to anyone who wants to have a fun time with family and friends.
My kids want to come back and do it again. I will say this you want to have some experience with games and I didn’t so I was confused lol. My daughter guided me along and thankfully the game is about teamwork. The game itself was so real with the VR goggles. I felt like I was really there. You will enjoy the game if you work together and pay attention. Both of the workers were very nice, pleasant and helpful. We will come back.
Went here for my birthday. As a 28 year old man, I had a great time. I felt like a kid again once I put the VR set on my head. The controls took a sec to get used to but any gamer can pick it up really quickly. I did one of the Escape Room style games. If you like escape rooms IRL then youll enjoy it as a VR game.
It was super duper fun!!! Did the House of fear one and it was so realistic. I’m definitely gonna visit again.
Was lots of fun!!! The staff was very friendly and nice. He had a conversation with us the entire time we were waiting for the other half of our group to finish. Were very knowledgeable. The game was lots of fun- we did a horror escape VR. The waiting room has a few games & puzzles to do while waiting. They also have lockers for your belongings. The bathroom was also very clean and cute. Great experience!
Must try .... awesome experience
Great VR games, friendly knowledge staff and great prices. Theyre always happy to see my kiddo and help him understand each new game he choses.
This place was awesome the lady that helped us was so helpful...I never done VR before but I would deff go back...and my kids also had a blast
Great place for a quick escapade, staff is knowledgeable and friendly. They have adventures for all levels of experience. Do not be discouraged if you have no experience gaming. If you are absolutely stuck they push you in the right direction without deterring from the experience.
I went to ExitusVR for my birthday with a group of friends and I THOROUGHLY enjoyed my experience!! We did The Cosmos game which was amazing! It was my first ever VR experience and it was so much fun! Our assistant Dora was very friendly and helpful to us when we were stuck in some parts of the game. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place! I plan on going back in the future to play their other games :)
1st time here and it was awesome. Dora was super helpful. Will come back again. Over 150 different VR games.
Great VR experience, staff very friendly and helpful, lots of games to choose from, we all enjoyed it. Will certainly come again.
This little hole in the wall is definitely a diamond in the rough. I took my two boys there for an hour and they loved every minute of it. We plan on going back because they had so much fun. Is recommend this to anyone that loves gaming or loves tech, because this is the future of both.
I took the family to experience a fun time and indeed we did. With 3 boys, 9,10, and 11 yrs, the recommended escape vr was the Cosmos. I liked that Ms. Dora was in the room giving us clues as needed so that the family can be successful at completing the mission. We went for fun, not competition. Last thing you want is for the boys to feel bummed by failing the escape mission. We also did the individual play and the kids loved it. Well definitely return!
So different from your typical escape room!! We thoroughly enjoyed it!!!
Visited with friends for a birthday celebration. We were a mixed party, males and females, with ages ranging from 8 to late 40s. Everyone had a blast. The staff was courteous and took time to explain what we needed to do to accomplish our assigned mission. Clues were provided when we got stuck, without feeding us the actual answers to the puzzle. We chose the cosmos vitual reality task it was quite fun figuring out the steps to solving the mission. We had to work as a team to reach our goal, although there was a brief individual task session.I did book ahead via phone call without a hitch. We went on a Saturday. There was no wait time to check in.Great experience overall. We all agreed it was worth repeating.
My 3rd grader and his friends had a blast. His grandparents and I played and were blown away by the tech. Totally worth it.
Excellent Experience!!! My partner and I just moved to Houston and we are always trying to find something different to do in Houston and so we discovered ExitusVR. It was an incredible experience. Customer service was great! Price was very fair, same or less as a dinner and movie for two! And if you have never done virtual reality, you are missing out! It is very realistic, fun and interactive. We had to problem solve to get to the end of our adventure. There are several VR adventures to choose from! The Manager knew it was our first time so he was VERY helpful in getting set up, explaining how to interact, and even guided us as needed throughout the game! We had such a blast and will definitely go back again! I would recommend it to anyone regardless of age!!!
We had so much fun here playing Cosmos that we came back the next day to play Mind Horror. It was excellent fun! The customer service is wonderful here. I highly recommend trying it.
The employee was so helpful. My buddy and I had a great time. Reasonable price to experience VR. Will be going back.
Big fun all over. The owner I believe John highly respectfull, patient, and i need to me tion that my wife forgot her purse there... What did he do, nicely called because he remembered that we were The previous clients...top notch for such a hidden/small place. Family fun
Had an awsome date with my husband! We did the cosmos game and it was so much fun and we accomplished our mission
Very friendly and open with experienced and knowledgeable guide.
Loved this experience! I am an escape room junkie, but had never tried a virtual reality experience before. I was absolutely blown away by how real everything looked with in the game! The staff were friendly and accommodating, though we did have some technological glitches during our game that took a little while to resolve. The puzzles with in the game itself we’re pretty easy to solve… The biggest challenge honestly was figuring out how to move around in this new virtual world. The venue was nothing to look at on the outside or on the inside, but the virtual reality experience itself was fantastic! I would definitely check out the other games they have.
Absolutely LOVED this experience! Highly recommend for any age and great for family time!
Awesome set-ups, Good prices, and friendly staff. Made my brothers first Vr experience a great one!
It was a first time experience and we definitely loved it. We played Cosmos. It was immersive. This would be our go to family outing. So much fun.
Do not let the outside look fool you. What awaits you inside will blow your mind. Its like in a sci-fi movie where the character opens the door, goes inside a quaint looking place, then gets transported to a whole new dimension!ExitusVR is the only virtual reality escape room in the Houston, TX area. There are three scenarios to choose from for group play. The venue also has virtual reality multiplayer games to choose from, and also single player games. They only use the best VR equipment currently on the market (HTC Vive, Oculus Rift), and high end gaming machines to power those VR headsets.Rates are affordable, but then again there is no other place like it, so its hard to compare prices. Since the escape room and VR games may take awhile, customers come in by appointments only. What makes ExitusVR stand out is their exceptional customer service. Since virtual reality is sometimes a hard concept to explain, the owners and their employees do a great job walking you through the process and answering any questions.Did I mention this place is all women owned and employed. Great for equality in the workplace.Stop by if you get the chance. It will be worth it!
Experience was AMAZING! They have very reasonable prices, lots of games, great employees, and it was just overall best vr experience.
Awesome experience! 1st time doing virtual reality. Took my bf for his birthday and he really enjoyed it! Definitely have to go back.
Great, fun, exhilarating experience! I agree that everyone must try VR at least once. Me and my spouse did the Cosmos experience and was fun but challenging. Made us work as a team and interact with the virtual world. All in all, good fun!
I used them for an office event and it was great! Everyone really enjoyed playing the different VR games they brought
I took my husband here for his birthday. We had a blast! It is a really cool experience and unique to Houston. I highly recommend this for team building or fun with the kids.
The virtual escape room concept is interesting. We had fun.
John has a great experience here. It definitely exceeded our expectations... totally recommended
Really fun! It is a VR escape room. I did the “Escape the Cosmos” really fun! It was hard but fun once we talked it threw and worked together.
I love video games and this took it to another level!!
Small place but the games are EPIC, so much fun, get a group of gamers together and go to town on it. Staff was great and helpful.
We celebrated a staff birthday at this location. We had a great time!
Amazing VR experience and professionalism! ExitUS participated at the @afrorenfest 2019 and gave an unforgettable experience. They ran a program called I AM A MAN VR, which was set to the events leading up to the Black American civil rights movement. It was the most talked about activity at the festival. We recommend them for any event!
Ok. Dont be alarmed by its location. Yes its a real place. When we first pulled up, we almost turned around. I can say tell your friends and family to try VR. HAD A BLAST!!!! The motion made me very sick so beware. Just stare at one spot when you fly but I had so much fun. The bigger the team, I think the max is 6, the better the experience. I played with 3, can only imagine how much fun 6 people can have. Despite my soft stomach I would definitely play again. The staff is very friendly and professional. Loved it!!!
Had my first virtual reality experience here a few weeks ago. One of the coolest experiences of my life. Staff was very friendly while leading my trial run through the escape room. I would recommend this for anyone that is into gaming or even as a team building exercise. Ill definitely be back!
This place was a blast! My group and I had so much fun! The people running it are very nice, as well. My friend set up the appointment for my bachelor party, but we got distracted and missed our slot. The good people at ExitusVR let me reschedule later in the week with no hassle!
It was a novel and immersive experience for me. I really enjoyed the game. The staff was very friendly too.
The google earth experience is not an experience for the fate at heart. Those who dont like heights, big bodies of water, or being suspended in outer space without being able to perceive your body. Should take this under consideration.
Its a small location, but that doesnt affect the quality of the experience. Large selection of games, friendly and helpful folks, cant wait to go back.
I really like this place. My 1st visit. This is something new and fun today with a date or a group of friends
What would you and your colleagues, friends or family normally do for fun? Maybe go out for a coffee, a meal or watch a film? Sound alright but also pretty ordinary. EXIT the ordinary by booking the only virtual reality escape room in Houston.
Very friendly and walked us through the preparations before beginning the game. The game itself was called silent man and was a virtual reality escape room. There we a good amount of levels and puzzles to solve. I would recommend at least 3 people for the escape rooms, because they can be challenging and you must work together! The graphics is a Unity-based engine with Oculus. Everything ran smoothly and the experience was amazing!I would recommend to keep an eye out for Groupon and coupon codes because there are some out there that will save you money, but full price is worth it as well. Hoping someday to see longer experiences, maybe 1 1/2 to 2 hours!
First VR experience, had an absolute blast. It was an escape room to the max!
Overall we had a great time. Only problem was it was over too fast. We finished Cosmos in 35 mins and were left wanting more. While some of the cause of this was our intelligence, the staff sped up the game by volunteering help without the team agreeing that it was needed. Other room escapes Ive done only gave assistance when the team requested it. They should ask if you want help before giving it. Part of the satisfaction of doing this type of thing is the accomplishment you feel for figuring puzzles out on your own. Anyway, VR is an experience you have to try at least once. Do it!
Great place to experience VR. Great location and best prices in town.
I tried VR wayyyyy back in the day, and it was interesting, but made me nauseous and wasnt an immersive experience. Ive been carrying that impression with me for years, and it turns out, VR has taken some pretty huge leaps since then.If youre like me, and you gave it a shot at one point and were underwhelmed, nows the time to try it again, and Exitus is the place to go in Houston. Terrific staff/owner, lovely intimate setting right off one of the main drags - cant recommend them highly enough!
Excellent venue for family and/or friends. Dora was exceptionally helpful for those of us inept at VR. We intend to go again soon.
It was cool :)
Great experience! Best virtual reality gaming in Texas!
Great place! The have many headsets, and many games.
I thought VR was just a bunch of hype. This is something everyone should try at least once. I could spend hours on google earth alone. Everest, pyramids, stand on top of them... all at the touch of your fingertips.
It the most amazing experience. Really love it...and just recommend to all my friend and family
This was definitely a fun and unique experience, the staff there were great. Intend to go back.
Had a party with five 12-year old boys. They had a blast.
Extremely fun and had a great staff
I really enjoyed my time at Evitus. At first I was skeptical, seeing as how its not exactly in the nicest area of town and you need to be buzzed in at the gate. However they were extremely nice and their VR setup is really cool. While its possible to set up and use VR at home, the advantages of this place are 1. They already have all the equipment. 2. You get a whole room to move around in. 3. They have a multiplayer VR game where each player uses a headset etc. All of those would be difficult and/or expensive to have at home. Also, the hourly rate is quite reasonable considering how much fun it is. $25 an hour for single player ($35 for their multiplayer game) compares extremely favorably to other experiences. Here are some suggestions that I think would really help this place take off -1. Better location - From what I understand, they are already planning on moving to a new location so this should fix that issue. Their building is right next to a bunch of apartment complexes off of a side street near Hillcroft avenue. Its easy to miss, and doesnt look like its open to the public.2. Some type of intercom system - If a player has issues with their headset etc, they currently have to flag down an employee or wait for an employee to come check on them. What might work better is a button on the wall to call for assistance. That way a player could stay immersed in the experience without interruption unless they needed assistance.3. Trolley for the wires - The setup for the wires for the Vive is actually pretty good right now, but its fixed to hang from one place in the ceiling. That makes it relatively easy to get tangled up. A good solution that could minimize tangling and trip hazards is if the cord was mounted on a moving trolley on the ceiling that could slide around as the player moved around so that it stayed constantly overhead and out of the way, without having to dangle to the floor.
Best vr place!!!!
The girls had a great time!!!
Very nice experience
Really cool
I love it
Fun stuff and friendly staff
