Very good park for the dogs at a convenient location. There are two parks inside this - for small dogs and for big dogs. Also has about 3 ponds for dogs to enjoy water and also to swim. It also has couple of water fountains. Park is very big and clean so dogs can run over everywhere. Will definitely recommend for dogs to enjoy the time here.
The most spacious and clean park in or around Houston. Goldie loves it here! There are always an array of cute dogs she can play with. Loads of room to run and two sparkling pools to take a dip on a hot summers day. We always end with a nice bath and walk around. Love this park!
Great dog park for big dogs. 2 Dog lakes which are quiet large and the sides are easy for dogs to get in and out all around. Steps and shallow area on lakes for smaller, more water timid dogs. Great long walk around the park for leash walking. The park is kept mowed and stocked with doggy bags, although some people dont abide by the rules, and pick up after their pet. Generally good dogs and good conscientious dog owners go here.
Good-sized dog park. Only wish people would have picked up their dogs poo, otherwise it is very clean. Also it has a very nice dog shower area.
Super cool place to take your dog, fun, spacious, couple of man made lakes where they go swimming, make sure to bring a towel!
This dog park is great! My fur baby always has so much fun here, playing with the other kiddos and swimming in the two lakes. The park has a separate section for small dogs as well, and dog water fountains. There are also showers to rinse off your dog before leaving. My only complaint is that a lot of people dont pick up after their animals, even though there are doggie bag stations everywhere.
This park is fantastic!! Tons of space for our doggo to run around and always has a good amount of other dogs there to socialize with. The ponds are also an added bonus for those super hot days. There is also an area to rinse off or bathe your pup which is really convenient afterward. Definitely our go to dog park!
Not a fan of this park. It just didnt give us the warm and fuzzies. Our family went with our new puppy and none of us liked it. It could be a great place but the people didnt seem to be as friendly as at other parks. We actually left after about 20 minutes and went to a different park.
I love this park! Our first experience there was so sweet. I love that there is two separate spaces for the dogs, one side for the small and one side for the large dogs. My girl was too shy but we will keep trying to let her know it is a safe space. The benchs around the park are helpful to sit down and just enjoy the doggos playing. There’s plenty of poop stations and also I think I saw a fountain. The wash station is very convenient for the ones that got in the dog pool too!
Great place! The pup loved it, especially the ponds! Clean, ample parking, and plenty of places to sit and let the dogs play! Will be back for sure!
Wonderful gigantic park! It has multiple ponds in the large dog area and a pond in the small dog area. Plenty of room for the dogs to run around off leash. There is a great three stall dog wash station right outside the park. I have a mud loving dog and the wash station with hoses was extremely helpful.
Fantastic dog park with space for dogs to run around. There are two lakes which the dogs can run into, but dont worry theres a shower to rinse them off in before you leave. Its also a nice place to go just to pet dogs and get some good vibes in ya.
I love this park but our dig was attached by another. This is normal in dog parks but the other owner did nothing to separate the dogs. I love the park but Ill opt for walks in the park near own home and backyard exercise for our dog. Good luck.
My dog really likes running around in the large and small dog areas. He swims a little bit but the small dog pool should be shallower from what I see. Most dogs dont swim across as its too deep. They should be able to touch bottom at least with their back legs, Its concerning that the bottom cant be seen because the water is too green/dark. The park is pretty big. Some added obstacles and things for them to climb up or slide down would be nice too. Yes even dogs like slides.
While this place is a little outof the way for me it is so worththe drive! There is so muchspace to run and play here. The water feature is spaciousas well. There are many treesfor shade and two pavilions forhumans. The owners |encountered were very friendlyas well. If you have a dog inHouston this park is a must. Highly recommend.
Large well-maintained dog park is spacious and has 2 ponds. Also has gravel paths, numerous benches and covered sitting area that make it more pleasant for dog parents. 2 dog wash stations are great as well. No bathrooms at the dog area but some are located short drive across busy street. Dogs were happily tired on drive home.
Great large park! Lots of friendly dogs
Great park with ponds for dogs to swim im and showers to then clean them off.If your pup needs socialization, bring them here.
Great park for dogs. Very spacious, very friendly. Loved that it had a rinse area
My dog absolutely loves going out here ! It’s always clean and it’s away from the road so it’s really peaceful! Plenty of space to social distance even on the weekend!
Other than the sound of the gun range down the road this is a very nice place to take your dogs for some exercise.
Really nice open area to bring your pups. I came on a rainy day which is why it looks real empty. People are very nice in general. Only drawback is the dog pond (at least in the small dog area) is loaded with chemicals and it’s very obvious. I try to keep my dog from drinking the water but the water fountain is so far that sometimes I don’t win. I heard some dogs got sick from drinking that water...
Amazing place to take your dog to have some fun!
This place is perfect for all dogs an amazing dog park
Just drove by here to take my dog for the first time. I was really looking forward to it. However, it is completely and utterly flooded. Its so sad. That entire area is badly flooded. I cant imagine that this place will ever be a park again.
Good dog park but floods easily. Has two ponds in the large dog area, plenty of space, and two coverings you can sit under.
Very large park, great opens space.
Loved the park and the pond.It has a large dog section and a small dog section.....
What an awesome dog park! Its enourmous and so spacious. Lots of space for dogs to run, and there are two very large shallow ponds with short bubbling fountains for the dogs to play in. Theres also a smaller dog park attached to the main park, ostensibly for small dogs. The perimeter fence has really large airlocks for taking the dogs off leash before and after entering the park. Theres even a few stalls to shower off your dogs afterwards.
We love the park. Its a great place to take your dog large or small. They have a separate park area for small dogs and three ponds for swimming.
My dog loves the park. He is like a big kid. Well he is a big kid.
I really enjoyed this place. I enjoyed watching my puppy run around withthe other dogs. They have a pond for them to swim in and doggie bags floor clean up. At tha entrance they have doggie showers
Love this park. Large spacious grounds with pools, paths and trees; all with a separate small dog area for the little ones not quiet as large as their egos. There are a few geocache in the area. Nice large offset area as well, open recreational drone flying. All in all a nice area to spend an afternoon!
The dogs had some much fun running around and jumping into the water ponds. I loved how they have entrances lead into their own seperate large area before you use the 2nd door to get into or out of the park. They also had a seperate area for smaller dogs under 20lbs that had its own pond, covered benches, and a few trees and plenty of space for them to run around.
Excellent park with a pond for small dogs!
The place is beautiful for everyone the dogs can play, run and after all the fun they can take a bath. The only thing that I dont like is some owners of the dogs dont follow the rules of the dog park.
Best dog park i have been to in the Houston area.
Arguably the best dog park in Houston. Everyone is friendly, end up making a ton of new connections every time I go! Plus, surrounded by dogs its a win-win for everyone. Enjoy being able to work out while my dog can run around freely to socialize with other pets nearby. The washing stalls are a god send, especially if your dog is prone to jumping in the water like mine. Biiiig green areas for your dog to tire themself out running as well.
I come here every chance I get!! The people who come here are so warm, welcome and talkative and usually a regular too. The man made pond to me is kind of gross because it’s blue, there is stale standing water in certain parts of the park (not on the trails) so you will need to be prepared to wash your dog after. The park is big but not too big and has TONS of tree shade so you can walk around on a super hot day and not be affected too much.
One of the best dog parks in Houston. Plenty of space to run and two small lakes to swim in. Never had any issues with aggressive dogs. Everyone is always friendly.
Rita love this park...
. they have a large dog area with multiple pools. And then they also have a small dog area with a pool and a little water fountain. On top of all that they also have a track that takes you around the entire park. This is my favorite part to take my doggies
Kyoto had a good B-day party thanks for letting him celabrate it here!!
Great park, cant believe it took me a year to find it. Will be a weekly go to spot
Great places for dates dog ha
Relatively clean and very spacious with multiple (small) lakes for your dogs to play in. 3 rinse/wash stations on the premises - highly recommended for a fun day with your pups.
This is a large park with a lot of room for the dogs to run and two swimming ponds for the dogs to play in and our PWD loves the water. Both ponds were great with water circulators to prevent pond scum. There were about 30 dogs there when we visited with mostly responsible dog owners. Only bad thing is that some owners did not pick-up after their dogs. Overall, it is worth the drive out there from the city.
Good park. Two different water areas on large side for busier days.
This place is great! There are always tons of dogs there to play with, and most of the time they are friendly. There are swimming pools and dog washing stations which are both maintained very nice. The grass is getting pretty thin in places, and it had a lot of soggy places and standing water, so even if your dog doesnt swim, hell come out as muddy as if he did. People are not festidious about cleaning up after their dog, so watch your step.
Best dog park in west Houston area. This mostly gets flooded whenever there are heavy rains so always check before going. But when it’s dry, this is the dog park we prefer to go to. There are 2 pools that our dogs love to swim in, the water is reasonably clean. A big park For all dogs and a small park for small dogs, stations to pickup after your dog, drinking water fountains, 3 dog rinse stations and lots of parking space. There is also a trail around the park where you can walk your dog on leash. There are always dogs here so my dogs find friends to play with. My only suggestion would be to have more grass and less gravel in some areas of the park. Because after getting his paws soaked in water when my Great Dane runs on the gravel, he chips his paws and they start to bleed.
HUGE Park and love that there is separation for larger and smaller dogs in case you dont feel comfortable or it might be your dogs first time really interacting with others. All of the dogs and owners were so friendly! (Our first time there) water for swimming dogs too!
My family and I are in love with this park. It has everything you need for your dogs entertainment plus a bathing station thats perfect for cleaning your pup before you head home.
Always maintained! Great Area. N Huge play area
Love this place! Dog owners are very good at helping keep the park in good conditions for all to use.
It is an amazing dog park. my dog had so much fun that me and my mom decided to maybe make it a hobby for him.
Great place to bring your dogs for some off leash fun in a safe fenced environment. Space for them to run and enjoy themselves. If they do get muddy there is a doggie shower facility to clean them off before they get back into your car.
This is my getaway. The park seems to be clean every time and dogs are usually nice. I like how they have a separate play area for dogs of all sizes.
Alot of room for your friend to run and play.
Great dog park! We love bringing our dogs here. The people are friendly and helpful. I like that the smaller dogs have a separate area from the large dogs.
This will be a forever special park for me because today my baby actually swam. Ive been trying to get him to swim since he was a puppy but he was always so scared. Idk why this park because I always take him to other parks and being our first time here and him swimming definitely did not expect that.
Place is great, clean, spacious and water hole for the dogs to swim in
No bathrooms for humans and one of the ponds was partially filled with red algae, but the area is pretty clean with dog washing stations, picnic tables, a walking path outside of the dog area, a small dog area, and some really nice shade trees. Also watch out for snakes.I prefer Archer dog park which is on Hwy 6 a short distance away, personally. If only for the bathrooms.
It is amazing for dogs and would recommend your dogs will absolutely love it. It had a billion other dogs and it fire hydrants along with pools and dog water fountains. My 1 complaint is that there are no restrooms. I had to leave the park and go in the woods. Overall a great experience just go to the restroom first
A male dog attacked my four month old female doberman puppy; of course that never would have happened if I had brought my three and and half year old doberman male with us.
Clean, safe, friendly and spacious with small dog area. Can be hot due to lack of shade and mud is everywhere when it rains.
So. Much. Space! Such a clean and safe place to take your fur babies. I went on a Monday morning. Maybe 5 guests for the 3 hours we were there. Water fountains have a connecting water bowl for the dogs. No breed restrictions, I brought my 4 year old Bulloxer and she played with puppy pits, a puppy Great Dane and a couple Huskies that convinced her to get in the water, no small feat for my dog without trust and fun. Truly enjoyed my visit. Site is patrolled by Constables but they are not invasive.
Very clean and big area to run your dog!!!
A lot of good people and great dogs, but our dog HAS been attacked twice out there (he wasnt seriously hurt either time, but blood was drawn once. Neither time was he aggressive).People need to monitor their dogs a bit more closely.Still, its a great park.
Really great dog park. Lots of water features and room to run.
Awesome place, awesome people, I never had an incident other than a moody small dogs once in a whileBut Rooney loves it, if you have a bulldog, lets meet up
Very well maintained and clean with tennis balls everywhere for fetch if you forget to bring one like me. The pup loves to swim in the water and all the owners have been very kind thus far.
Great place to let your dog run
Really nice park. Could improve by upgrading the baths and irrigation. Prepare for mud.
15 min inside and they shatter my window.Unbelievable
So great! My dog loved it
Great park but wish it had some agility equipment and I wish people would clean up after their dogs more.
Good amenities of a dog park. Very little shade.
Great dog park with a nice track around the entire park, a small dog area with its own little swimming hole, and two larger swimming areas for big dogs. Plus bags for poop, covered sitting areas and water fountains and a wash up area for after.
Excellent place to let your lil or big baby play. Plus we dog lovers are the friendly sort, so theres always a stranger with a good story to share!
Its an Beautiful place for Niko.We love it.All my Dogs as an Matter of fact loved this Park.
The park seems a good place to go. But be aware there could be aggressive dog around, whose owner just standby and let the dog bite other dogs. So I had to end up with taking my dog home to avoid the bite from the aggressive dog.
Good place for my lil babes to run.
The Good:The park itself seems well maintained. There’s plenty of parking and there’s a washing station for when your dog decides to get in the little ponds. The Not So Good:I don’t actually like the little ponds of water; way too much possibility of the dogs getting sick. It’s right across the street from an outdoor gun range and our dog doesn’t like fireworks. There’s a ton of dogs which can be good or bad depending on your dog’s temperament. It’s off of a main road.Unfortunately, the gun range noises trumps all for our dog so we won’t be going back.
Very nice park. Only downside is that some owners dont pick up after their pets. Baggies are there for a purpose.
