Ocean front older but very clean resort. Covid cleaned. Did not disturb us. Plenty of towels left for us. Walking distance to shopping and restaurants. Our accomodations included a kitchen. Ample plates, silverware etc. May visit again next Spring.
Checked in, room was 2 bedroom two bathroom, second bathroom had nonworking commode. Staff could not say when it would be fixed. Drove almost 14 hours to get there. Ended up leaving! Would not recommend Enchated Isle Resort at all.
This is a charming resort in a quiet section of Hollywood Beach right on the ocean. Everything is set up for guests’ convenience, such as a pool with chaise lounges, a grove with a barbecue grill and picnic tables, a courtyard where guests can interact with each other. Parking is guaranteed and right outside the door. There are beach chairs and chaise lounges on the ocean side of the resort and you can sit on the grass or on the sand with the ocean in front. The beach area is private and beautiful. This is an older ( 1960s vintage ) resort with some upgrades in the units such as new showers, wide screen TVs, microwaves. Our unit had a gallery kitchen that was difficult to maneuver around and the refrigerator door did not open fully, making it difficult to get food items in and out. The staff was very attentive and eager to please. This resort is mainly for timeshares. I would return if a unit becomes available next winter.
Nice place right on beach. Could use updating though.
Secret gem in Fort Lauderdale area beaches.Shhhh dont tell anyone. LOLBeen coming here for almost 20 years and it never disappoints. The resort is an older timeshare but the management keeps it up as best they can. Has had some improvements a few years ago with newer bathrooms, new furniture and wifi is great now. Never a special assessment for us owners so they do a great job of keeping maintenance fees low.Beach chairs are free, free wifi, free parking, BBQs and a heated pool.Parking can be limited on weekends because the locals park here illegally, but other than that its an awesome place to take your yearly beach vacation. The pictures are from my front porch. It doesnt get any better than this in the area. Literally walk out your door and you are toes in the sand.Resort staff make you feel right at home. Very responsive to any requests. Great RCI trade if you have a timeshare.
Location is literally on the beach. Its not like a huge treck you want to do as little as possible. You can be out there and run back to your unit to grab something you forgot and be back in the beach in no time. There are easy to use showers/hoses for after the beach. The units are great. We stay in one that is technically two bedroom but the middle living room/kitchen area has a pull out and its own bathroom so it can basically become a three bedroom and lodge 6 people super comfortably. Walmart/Publix/Winn Dixie to the south and the Hollywood board walk to the north, all within 10 mins. Shout out to Mallory and Shirley who are always so helpful! The other people that stay here are usually very chill so it is a nice atmosphere. VERY CLEAN AND COIVD COMPLIANT!
This was our second time staying at this resort. It is very clean and comfortable here. We stayed in a one bedroom unit. It has a kitchen with stove, microwave, dishwasher, full size refrigerator and all the supplies you need. You just go shop at Publix or Walmart to stock up and cook your own meals. Or it is in walking distance to the boardwalk. The beach is so nice and private. They supply beach chairs and they even have toys for the kiddos. Such a great place to return to year after year. The staff are so nice and helpful. The upkeep is A++++.
The personal is great, the place is perfect for a family getaway.
We always have a great time when we visit, my family and I have been coming down here for the last twenty years. We get what we pay for which is an affordable clean place to stay, cook, and shower. Staff is always friendly, great environment for a family or a group of friends. Highly highly recommend you come check it out if you are looking for a deal without sacrificing the bare essentials, you wont be disappointed!
Florida beach is beautiful any time of year. This was our home for a week. Very clean and cozy. Close to shopping and activities. Great staff. Only negative was the ghost biters - little ants or something that bit us all over when we sat outside.
Beachfront property. Quaint. Clean. Comfortable. Will return for an extended stay.
Have no clue wasnt really there but probably nice
Nice clean place. Needs a little updating. But great place overall. Right on the beach.
Worst experience ever - woman in office could not have been ruder. Wont be back ever. Guest beware. Left this place and found a 4star hotel down the road for $20 more per night. Worst experience ever.
Absolutely great location from the ocean. Its an older resort the grounds are immaculate. The inside shows signs of age right down to the big back T.V. in the bedroom. The glass dishes arent clear even after washing. Housekeeping gets a 3, Shirley will leave you a note of what she should have done on Tuesday not of what she actually did, lol. But if you are okay with washing your dishes before you use them and inspecting your towels its a good place to stay if everything else is booked.
Great area. Maintenance cost is too high. Condo needs updated.
Awesome hideaway among the big resorts! Got a condo through timeshare trade. Had a problem with the first room but staff made adjustment and made it right. Nice amenities, location, parking. Looking for place for some simple beach time? This is your place!
Beachside clean units. Staff very friendly +helpful. Very relaxing place, queen bed comfy but sheets bit scratchy. Quiet beach town, not much happening, but nice boardwalk in a 10 minute walk with several food spots + the Marguerita Hotel which is beautiful.
Great place to book for vacation ! I love it’ friendly stuffs’ clean rooms’ nice rooms . The beach is right there and I love how they have “Hotdog Wednesday” for the whole resort love it !
Great location, needs a little bit of updating. Right on the water. Good value
It needs to be renovated. Tiles were loose and furniture was old, the ceiling was patched up, look like the door was forced open from outside - just to name a few. We did not feel safe.
The beach is RIGHT THERE! You could live in a hole and it wouldnt matter the beach is so close!! Location, location, location!!! The boardwalk, the beach...need I say more. They also have a pool. The bikes you can borrow for free are left out and are a bit Rusty.. but they have sand toys you can borrow and beach chairs you can use while on the beach. It really is wonderful being able to walk to the beach to see the sunrise. The apartment itself was clean, and modestly decorated. I wouldnt say it was spacious, but who cares you literally are there to eat a few meals, use the restroom and sleep... The rest of the time there are tons of things to do. If you get a one bedroom everything about that unit is spacious, but we had the two bedroom unit and it felt like the exact same square footage as the one bedroom only they made it fit another bedroom. The staff were accommodating and there are free hotdogs on the beach on Wednesday!!! That was super cool.
Nice, clean room. Very spacious and a wonderful location... right on the beach. There are beach chairs free for guests, and a nice pool. Very nice front desk people, and security personnel around at night. Would definitely stay here again.
Four stars because its right on the beach. Small property has decent amenities, swimming pool, BBQ grills, lawn chairs for relaxing on the beach. Its one of the few places left that is not surrounded by high-rise condos, so the beach is not crowded. Short walk to the beachfront broadwalk with lots of shops, restaurants, bars, etc.
This is a dated resort, that said, the location is great. It reminds us of an era long forgotten. Where children learned to swim and play, while elder family members gathered around to share stories of how things once were. No frills or mega resort. Simple and back to basics, done well. If youre ok with minimal, without cheap thrills, this place will more than satisfy. If youre looking for luxurious and pretentious, this is not your place.
Customer service is great and you cant beat the location
Its a quaint no nonsense resort to relax. Some suites face the ocean for a great view. The service is basic nut not intrusive. You can rest, walk around or ride a bike. You feel quite at home here. You have a kitchen to cook your mesls or great restaurants around to chose from. Its perfect.
Good management & grounds are on the Atlantic Ocean.
A nice older timeshare. Very quiet!
Location gets you right on the beach. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Mallory, Shirley and Joel
While the complex is not a newer building its up to date, clean, and best of all is right on the beach. they have coffee and doughnut every morning and some time hot dogs and chips in the afternoon. 5 min walk to a popular boardwalk where restaurants serve the things you love to eat.
Nice well kept property. Ocean at your front door. With nice well maintained pool. Friendly lay back place to stay .
This resort has a couple buildings right next to the water just south if the Hollywood boardwalk. The staff are friendly and accommodating, the apartments are cozy, and the beach access is beautiful and private. You dont even need to have one of the waterfront view units to feel like youre right on the beach and youre going to enjoy your time here.
The place is a small resort. We have been there four different times. The first time I was there I didnt know what to expect because the pictures on the website werent very good but I was pleasingly surprised when we arrive. There are different buildings and they have done upgrades to some of them, I guess it just depends on which building you get. The best thing about this place is the location. the beach is within steps away, and the views are beautiful. I only wish they would add on the hot tub in the pool area .
While it is not a five star resort it is cozy and and comfortable. Walking on the beach and their outdoor cooking facilities and pool make it very enjoyable.
This is a wonderful small resort, its a quiet area in a big metropolitan area. Right on the beach. The rooms are clean and well furnished, they are not as large as at the big resorts, but the size of the room is not why you are staying on the beach.
Nice place to stay - NO BUGSVery close to the beach Extremely helpful & friendly staffI would definitely stay there again.
Small resort right on the beach. The check in office staff are very helpful.
Was in blding. #2. Nice deck over the pool facing the ocean. Staff was very accommodating & friendly. Great stay!
On the Beach with a Pool. Very Convenient !
This place is between the A1A road and the beach!!small, wonderful appointments-studio, 1 and 2 bedroom and you literally 2alk out of.your roomand o 5o the beach... 2ith xhairs.and.tables and all.availavle.for.free... very family friendly. And Hollywood FL has.lots to .do-looking forward to exploring it more.
This little resort is amazing. The staff is so friendly. I have been to Inchanted Isle so many times and each time I go, I have an awesome time. Great place to go if you want to relax.
Nice little place. Nice people. A bit dated. Need to rethink outlets. Beds not very comfy and quite creaky. Hear everything upstairs with chairs. But....clean, steps from the beach. No crowds. Boardwalk nearby. Good location.
I was greeted warmly by Mark and Mallory and walked into a nice contemporary styled and very clean room. My view from upstairs was poolside with a slice of ocean and palm trees. The room had all the amenities I needed, except food. The kitchen had a coffe maker w packets to brew and the freezer contains an automatic ice maker. I took an uber to the Super Walmart down the street and got the necessities for my stay. From there I went directly to the clean beach and borrowed one of many lounge chairs available (for sharing). After a quiet nap in the sun, I headed towards the heated pool to cool off. I passed a nice sized patio area that contained two fabulous grills and utensils - also for residents to share. I was sorry that I didnt buy something to bbq!In the evening, I traveled down the broadwalk to find many different restaurant and bar options. To be sure- this distance is not a hop, skip and a jump, yet- it is a nice stroll along the beachside and helped me get acquainted w the area.To my surprise, a brand new Jimmy Buffet Margaritaville had opened and there was lots of activities offered. The bandshell also had nightly music. There was always something to do if you wanted it. Or, you could just stay on the beautiful beach and be away from the touristy attractions down the street.
Nice units. Clean and comfortable. Close to the beach.
Staff is frendly and helpful. Property is clean and well kept. Having the beach right there is awesome and its a short walk to the south end of the broadwalk.
Friendly staff,clean and great location!
Beautiful!!
Friendly customer service. Mallory in the office is amazing. LOVE IT HERE!
Friends own at this Timeshare. Its cute, sits right on the beach. Reasonable condition overall. Not high end, very relaxed atmosphere.
This is a timeshare we go every year at the same time, and love it. I think it is more for adults we have the beach, nice restaurants, there is entertainment on the boardwalk at night. The unit is a nice kitchen, one bedroom and living space.
We been coming here for one week a year every year since I was like 10 (Im 31) every year it gets a little more run down... nothing is upgraded in the kitchens or furniture....but overall its always a good time, its on the beach and no1 bothers you
Just got home after another great week at Enchanted Isle, we are owners and have been coming here for over a dozen years. One bonus for owning here is we always get the same room, in our case, the penthouse, and we get to see the changes they make year to year. It seems they do something every year. If...
Great location, dated & small interior but had all we needed. plenty of beach chairs, toys, umbrellas, bikes to borrow and enjoy on a quiet strip of gorgeous beach.
Confort... relax... Good HOTEL!
Oceanfront. .nice.
Cute Hollywood hotel! Awesome service and very clean rooms. Close to broadwalk
We consider this our home away from home. The staff is excellent, the rooms are spacious and clean. The location and price cannot be equalled.
Temporary visit- clean rooms, close to beach, and everything was in good working order
The spot is idyllic, with a quiet beach steps away from the front door. My wife and I had initially scheduled a vacation at a larger Resort, and are so happy that we decided to stay here instead.
Very relaxing.
I love this place very laid back and very relaxing here very friendly service Its my 10th time here and Loving it. I do live 5 hours away and this is a great place just to get away from it all.
Nice place. Amazing view.
Exactly what you need and close to the beach. Perfect. Not too much and not too little.
Absolutely loved the place.
Great location on nice beach but place is a total dump! Apparently doing renovations now which are long overdue but they should have closed the place rather than subject guests to this mess. Hope they get new towels too because the ones we got were OLD and disgusting! Not coming back, thats for sure!!!
5th year here love it thanks shirley ur the best see next year
The resort is great! Here May 2017 and had a blast . The beach is close and beautiful.
Tiny small unit, old old linens, No ocean view. Very old building on a nice beach with chairs. If you are exchanging in on RCI, youll probably will be disappointed.
The place is old and outdated, furniture, kitchen, etc. is outdated, from the 70s maybe. However it is about 50 to 300 ft from the beach depending on which building youre staying in (3 bldgs.total). Marc who was the concierge, maintenance man, grounds keeper etc., is an amazing guy who bends over backwards to help you. I felt bad for the guy because he pretty much takrs care of any issues or problems by himself. THERE IS NO STAFF ON SUNDAYS, so plan accordingly. For the price I paid, $125.00 a night, I probably could have gotten a nice hotel room, Enchanted Isle by the way is a time share facility that rents out rooms when not in use.
Three generations - grandma, son, grandson- enjoyed a delightful stay with the beach practically outside our front door. Clean. Safe. Plus the amenities we wanted.
Truly our home away from home. Operated by the friendliest and most helpful staff you will find anywhere.
The cutest little place, very nice staff, can use a bit more cleaning though.
Its a lovely quiet place. Beach nearby and pool, its wonderful!
We have been coming to our time share at Enchanted Isle for more than two decades. Its our winter vacation home. Its walking distance to the Hollywood Broadwalk along Hollywood Beach, lined with casual and gourmet restaurants. We take the water taxi to Fort Lauderdale, and drive to Miamis South Beach area in about half an hour.
The room was nice for the price. Very close to the beach. Beautiful view from our room.
Nice older resort ...friendly staff
Very friendly felt like home

Quaint, a renovated. Nice place
Food is freaking amazing!
Friend was staying there. When I went to his room it looked clean and neat.
After reading all the reviews on Yahoo about this place, my expectations were low. But when I first walked into our room, the couch and furniture were a lot nicer than I expected! They seemed new and updated. Our room had a bedroom and a pull-out couch in the living room. A pull-out sofa bed is not a nice place to sleep for a whole week, so keep that in mind. TVs were large, and had a VCR and DVD player. Our DVD player didnt work, but we asked the office about it and a maintenance guy came right over with a new one.The kitchen was pretty nice and had all the dishes and pots and pans you would ever need for cooking for yourself. Our ovens temperature dial fell off, so we had to be very careful when baking pizzas. Smoke alarms went off multiple times because of inaccurate oven temperatures. Someone on Yahoo said their air conditioning didnt work, but ours worked TOO well. It was freezing in the room when we first arrived, so we shut it off. Housekeeping will come and clean your room on Tuesdays. When housekeeping came on Tuesday, we didnt have our AC on because it wasnt hot, but they cranked it when they came in. So when we came back later that evening, it was FREEZING again. I accidentally hit the thermostat to heat when turning off the AC, and the heater kicked on, smelled terrible, and made the smoke detector go off!The worst part about our room was the doors. The front door was off the hinges a bit, so you could see light cracks in the top and bottom. The bedroom door didnt close completely (no privacy), and the bathroom door was one of those rolling ones, and it only closed completely from the OUTSIDE of the bathroom (no locked door EVER). The bathroom itself was really tiny, and had no exhaust fan, only a window that you can crack to let the steam out. But we did have hot water all the time and decent water pressure. They stock up the bars of soap (we probably had a dozen or so), but they dont give you shampoo, conditioner, or lotion like hotels do.The other major downfall of our room in particular (which was located in the corner of the farthest building from the main office) is that the Wi-Fi internet didnt work unless we had our front door open. Even then, it was spotty. We told the staff, and they said maintenance was working on it, but the signal never got better. Super annoying. We never swam in the pool, but it was heated and looked nice. Shuffleboard outside the condo buildings was fun. It wasnt super active or hopping while we were there, so if youre looking for lots of action or nightlife, youll have to go somewhere else. The beach is very close - less than a 30 second walk. The staff was friendly, laid-back, and everyone in Hollywood just sort of leaves you alone; its really chill. Downtown Hollywood was a great place to visit and very pedestrian-friendly. You can even take the trolley from the broadwalk to downtown (although when we rode it, there was a super drunk guy passed out on the trolley, and it took 5 minutes for the driver to yell at him and kick him off). Enchanted Isle has lots of brochures in the office and theyll tell you all about nearby attractions if you need info. We rode the Water Taxi up the inter-waterway to Fort Lauderdale, and that was fun. If you have a car, the drive down to Miami and South Beach isnt far, and worth a day trip.
Always clean..friendly and warm staff
Very nice place by the beach
The price and quality were ok
Very nice place
Quiet, Old School Florida !
Love it
