The resort is beautiful, we stayed in the 3 bedroom unit. It was spacious. The master has a king size bed, the first bedroom has two queen beds and the third has one queen bed. The sofa pulls out into a bed, so you can have 10 people in the unit. The dinning room table will fit 10 people comfortably. I will definitely go back!!

Quiet, serene. A golf resort bit as a non golfer it was great for me too. Had a girls weekend with my daughter and we relaxed fully! I was even able to continue my running regime on a picturesque running/biking path. The room is not completely contemporary but it is esthetically pleasing and clean. Seems to have been recently remodeled though.

What an enjoyable week at Island Links Resort!! We didnt want to check out! The resort personnel are so personable and professional. Keith called a couple of times to see how things we going and asked if we needed anything! I reported a missing TV remote on day one and it was no more than ten minutes and one was delivered to our condo!! Island Links is truly a resort, offering many amenities and activities each day. Pool party/gathering was great. Free food and drinks. Heated lap pool in November was appreciated. The condo was very nice; clean and a fully appointed kitchen! The location is perfect for us, all tucked away in the beautiful live oaks and palms.This is my second visit to Island Links this year, and many other stays in prior years. I keep coming back because of the service and the way we are treated.Thanks to everyone at Island Links for your kindness and excellent customer service! We will return!

Great place to stay in Hilton head. Staff was very helpful and friendly, they went above and beyond. Rooms were spacious, clean, comfortable, and well equipped.Had a really nice time, and would recommend this place to others.

Beautiful place. I loved it. We stayed on the top floor to avoid overhead noise. Islanders Beach is close and my favorite since it is a little isolated.

This was our first year at Island Links and we will definitely be back. Our 2 bedroom was super clean and comfortable and had all the amenities a person could ask for. There were many families around us and you couldnt hear a peep out of anyone. The pool is fantastic, having a bar there with snacks was also very nice. There were lots of daily poolside activities to keep both children and adults busy. The staff is super nice. Although it is possible to walk to the beach, its about a mile and a half. Parking is ample if you choose to drive or there is a shuttle at the resort that can also take you there.

Everything about the residence was up to par. No complaints

Beautiful resort just 1.1 miles from the beach. Drive and park for $1 an hour or take a pleasant walk via a bike/walking path. Pool is large with shaded area for those who prefer pools over beaches. Rooms are large and updated. Would definitely return to this gem.

This place is awesome. We had a three bedroom two bath. The place was very lovely. Plenty of supplies for kitchen and bathroom. Washer and dryer combination. Great room set up. The property is also nice with several different pools and extremely friendly and helpful staff. A lot of shading for the heat. Enjoyed the bike rental and the back trails for exploration. Also, right off the main strip so plenty of restaurants and stores for shopping. You cannot go wrong selecting this resort, it’s a win-win.Date of stay: August 2020

Great place to stay on Hilton Head Island. Reasonable during the off-season (early November). Nice pool and plenty of things to do. However, beach shuttle ends at end of September.

The resort was easy to locate. The condo we stayed in was very spacious. The master bedroom had a whirlpool. The grounds were nice, the pool area very large. There was even a shuttle to the beach.

This resort exceeded our expectations. Our place was super clean and had everything we needed. The staff were all super friendly and helpful. The pools were awesome for our 3 kids (4, 7, 8) and provided hours of entertainment for them. I would definitely rebook.

We stayed at Island Links Resort for a one-week vacation, and we were impressed. From our phone calls to the resort to check-in to response from the maintenance folks to the accommodations, this place is GREAT! The 3-bedroom unit was spacious and clean and worked well for our five adults and five children (nine and under). Kudos to Keith at the front desk (from phone calls beforehand to care after we arrived) to Justin at maintenance (with various issues which were dealt with swiftly) and to the entire staff. They were professional in every way. The resort is outstanding.

Do NOT stay here. SCAM. We stayed here right before Labor Day weekend. Rooms and grounds are completely outdated...no big deal. However we checked out on a Thursday, and then were charged an extra $1000 on a Saturday, 2 weeks later charged an additional almost $800 on our credit card. Upon seeing these charges, we contacted the resort and were told there was “extensive damage” in our room. WHAT?!? Asked for an explanation, photos, detailed report.. and nearly a week later still no return phone call or anything we’ve requested. DO NOT stay here unless you are willing to pay to upgrade their rooms for them.

This was by far, one of the best resorts we’ve stayed in! The condo was large and roomy! We stayed with our daughter and her husband and our granddaughter and so much room to roam about! The large picture window looked out to the pond and pool area. The pool was great with a ‘beach’! Also loved the bicycle/ walking trail that was near the resort! It was also quiet, but close to restaurants and shopping!

So far great. Facility has been updated. Grounds very clean. Check-in process smooth. Enjoyable so far.

Loved this place. My kids and I had a great time. The condo and the complex were spotless and super clean. They were very friendly and super helpful. We really liked the location, the pool, and the walk to the beach was wonderful. Plan on going back next year.

Wonderful family getaway during the Covid. Some things were just different like no beach shuttle, which was a little frustrating because it was impossible to find parking at the beaches closest to the resort. All in all it was a very pleasant experience!

The place overall is really nice. Pool was great. Lots of room. The couch was very uncomfortable and the tv’s were pretty old and outdated. All in all a good stay and would go back.

A large group had rented in the same location with most travelers from the upper northeast 15 plus hours or more away. We had requested rooms to be close to each other. Upon check in, every guest reservation was in a different building in the complex. With the recent covid concerns, I called the resort the day before to confirm there were still open and was informed they had 90% of the rooms open. With that information in hand, I did not think it would be difficult to have the group next to each others but the front desk staff refused. Additionally, at check in, we were informed the pool would be closed most of the day day on Saturday for maintenance. Really, of all days, why not a weekday, just poor planning. On top of it, on my last of three nights, I had a large cooler loaded with meats, beverages and other supplies stolen from the back of my pick up truck. Just salt in the wound. Not sure I would stay again.

Nice resort but somewhat dated. Everything was clean and worked perfectly. Enjoyed the amenities and the pool was very clean! We stay at the Palmera resorts every time we come to Hilton Head. Ready for some updates to the rooms. Still, I would recommend this resort!

The condo was great. The space was large enough for our family of 9, but the pool and the beach access were a joke. There was a lap pool which was super tiny with a maximum depth if 4 ft and then there was a splash pad, that looked huge online but was very small. No beach access within walking distance but the resort offered a shuttle service from 9-5. If you arent coming for the beach or the pool, then you will love it here.

Our family absolutely LOVES this resort! Great location, amazing staff, beautiful rooms and terrific pool.Our family has stayed at this resort 4 times now and we are planning two more trips to this resort this year alone! The units are perfect for kids with a room that two kids can share with two beds and a TV and DVD player in their own room. The balconies overlook the pond (with fountain) or the pool, or both. The open floor plan allows the family to all be together during meals and when watching TV. The deck overlooks either the pond or the pool and is a great sitting area for meals in the evening. The beds are very comfortable and the rooms are very spacious. With a full kitchen, this resort saves families money as well, allowing people to cook in when they want and only eat out when desired instead of every meal.The staff are always very friendly. Especially Keith who almost always seems to be there when we stay there and is helpful in providing information about the resort and local amenities, plus he is always great with the kids.The outdoor pool and Cabana is terrific! There is a splash pad for all kids but especially infants, a water play area for young kids in shallow water, a deep pool area with a fountain and circular swim area, a hot tub and a second heated pool that we used when we stayed there in October.The Cabana has great pool side drinks and food. Ashley there is amazing and provides great food and drink suggestions along with great local suggestions being a Hilton Head resident since she was little. Their smoothies are terrific for the kids and they have a number of food options that are great for kids and adults. The adult smoothies are also well made and if you ask Ashley, she will give you some recommendations to try.The location of the resort is perfect since it is close to two great beaches that are public but much less frequented than other beaches, and the free shuttle allows easy to and from every 15 minutes.We highly recommend this resort and we have also enjoyed other resorts owned by this company including Coral Sands and Coral Reef.

Everything that we want for a family resort (except for restaurants) is right there. and we are happy to go “off resort” for restaurants.We felt that this year, the leaves could have been swept up. They really covered the grass.Otherwise, great!

Really enjoyed our stay. We came to celebrate our middle daughters graduation from high school. We had family and friends join us for a wonderful time & my wife even got the chance to see dolphins, a real treat for her! Room full of the amenities needed for a family vacation. Front desk crew were great and the concierge, Charlie, was a great help in pointing us to the best places to eat and the best sights to see. We were even offered golf and tennis time! Great time had by all, we will be back!

The resort is well located. The units are large and spacious. The decor is understated plantation style. The units are spotless and the staff accommodating and friendly. Though part of Palmerra Resorts we used our Diamond Resorts points. Weve really enjoyed our stay here. Highly recommend it.

I dont like the view of looking at woods when you open the curtains. I asked about a place for kids and was told there is nothing for kids except the pool area. I knew there were no pictures of the a kids playground but just thought there was something there for kids. I did enjoy the rest of the property and the room was very very satisfying. I would come back again.

They were very helpful and made sure the Condo was spotless and very clean. They offered plent of soap, towls, dishwasher det, ect. They offered free transportation the beach and back every 30 minutes. Planning on going back next year.

My first, but definitely not my last, vacation at Island Links, Hilton Head, SC! Awesome place for a laid back, quiet, relaxing time!

Have been using this facility periodically for last sixteen years. Facilities were always clean but as of June 2020, would consider furnishings and accessories as somewhat dated.Furthermore, the occupants directly above our unit ran, thumped, and jumped around from eight o’clock AM until ten o’clock PM. Most annoying experience. Guess I should have called attendant.

This resort is going down hill, stayed they in July, had issues. Ran down unit we were in!

My family and I booked through Airbnb and had no issues with check in or check out! The grounds are very well maintained and kept clean. All of the trees and nature makes it so welcoming and inviting to drive up to and relax knowing it’s Island time! The two pools and hot tub they have are amazing! We spent a lot of our time there. The pools and hot tub were clean and so much fun! Looked the beach entrance to the pool with the two water umbrellas and the splash pad for kids too. We loved the boardwalk around the pond area to the pool. The gas grills were great! Comes with everything you need to cook with too! Our condo was perfect! We had over 12 people staying with us and suited us perfectly! When we walked in it was clean and well kept. It’s in the perfect location between going over the bridge inland to shopping or if you want to stay on the island and shop and go to the beach you’re in the best of both worlds. About a 15 minute drive to Coligny Plaza and 5 minute drive to Folly Beach. We WILL come back! Thank you for making our stay during COVID-19 safe and spectacular!!

Island Links is a great place to stay. Our 3 bedroom condo was very large, well appointed, clean and comfortable. Facility has a large hot tub and two pools (one heated 82) as well as workout room. We road the bike path located on property to the beach which is approx 1 mile away.This is a timeshare property. Husband and I went to 1 hour presentation. Sales associates were very nice and considerate of our time. No high pressure tactics were used. In consideration for our time, we were provided island cash to use at various restaurants, shops, activities on the island. This made our vacation more memorable/affordable.Note: Be sure to check out the comedy magic cabaret and jazz corner....

Our favorite place to stay in Hilton Head island. Very clean. Close to everything. The shuttle to the beach is great. We will stay here every time from now on!

Everything was very clean, grounds well cared for,, staff were polite and helpful, especially our concierge Dior G. He is stellar! Above and beyond 100%.

Wonderful place, rooms are huge! I barely saw my kids lol. The only downside is they approached us with going on a 60 min presentation of timeshare. They were true to their word, it only lasted an hour and we got $125 regardless whether we buy or not.

Very nice rooms. Our room had an issue with our AC unit after the front desk closed so we called maintenance and a repair person came within ten minutes after calling and promptly got the AC working again. Beach was in close proximity, not a walk, but a very short bike or car ride.

Very nice Resort with a great staff offering assistance and programing to meet your entire Families needs...On top of all this - there is a heated pool all year round...Units situated with trees -golf course views etc - Three bedroom Units are great for large Family get-togethers...

Excellent Resort. Except this year they had trouble with the hot tub. ONLY able to use it 2 times during our 2 weeks stay. Was offered to go use sister resorts to use theirs. 15 minutes away. (Which we did)Other thing they could improve on it the sand paper tissue paper.

We have been going to Island Links for years and we love it!! I went as a teenager with my parents and now with my husband and our 16 month old. I loved it as a teenager and my toddler had a blast!! Lots to do and the condos are so spacious and nice. We will definitely be back!

Unfortunately with our 3 bedroom condo there was not a view which was disappointing. Pool was super since we had 4 children under 7 and they were so excited about the pool and the childrens activities. When we went to cook a dinner the big burner on the stove did not work nor did the gas grill by the clubhouse as it looked like it had a gas leak. The condo is centrally located and also provided us with ample space. I would return as there are always little inconveniences when you service this many people. However when I did report to the front desk the lady was less than interested in the burner or the grill.

Location is great. Its located in the midst of the main Hwy. 5-10 minutes to everything and anything. Nice furnishings but we had a lot of bugs in the room when we arrived so much that we had to buy bug spray. I loved having a washer and dryer in the unit. Nice pool and the size was great in comparison to some other places that weve stayed. The appliances need updating because the dishwasher kept falling off the track every time you pulled it out or pushed it in.

Its a good resort located in a good location. Quite but not as close to the beach as Id love it to be. But they have shuttle to take us there. So, its OK. Good experience overall.

We absolutely loved staying at Island Links Resort. Total comforts of home supplied in the units. Beds were outstandingly comfy, shuttle to the beach a total plus so that you’re not paying $5-7 per day for parking; Pools were very family friendly and the grounds were pristine. Nothing not to like here.

An unforgettable family vacation! Id return here ANYtime. Very nice accommodations in a great area. The staff was very nice, and was able to provide ready and accurate information. We needed to contact maintenance at one point, and they not only responded quickly and addressed the (minor) maintenance issue... but gave us friendly and good restaurant recommendations.

The resort overall was good except for a leak in the ceiling.

I actually loved the resort. Everything was very nice with the condo. It was very clean and close to the pool. The only thing I have negative to say is that we got there early in the morning and was told we could hang out at the pool till 11:00 and to come back then to get registered. So I did and room was still not ready so we went back too pool, hung out a while longer, went back a few hours later to see if room might be ready,(while keeping an eye on room since they gave us the room #,) and noticed dirty laundry out front. By this time it was probably 3:00. Long story short, we got in room at 4:00 check in time. I believe the kept us out of the room because I had asked multiple time if the room was ready yet and they were irritated with me. Other than that, we had a blast.

It wasnt awful, my family got a free monopoly game thats missing a card but we stayed 3 days and really didnt spend much time in the room. Saw an alligator and some turtles which was nice, different than the run of the mill resort.

The bus driver that takes you to the beach is awesome...

Been here last three years for Thanksgiving and golf.

I loved the property. Check in was quick and easy, it was clean and all of the necessary amenities were available. I didnt like the distance from the beach, but for the price it was well worth making the short drive. My only complaint was the gym above concierge. It was too hot to work out in!

Pool was great. Was surprised to learn they have daily activities and a shuttle to the resorts beach location every 30 minutes. Room was so much nicer than a taty hotel. Its a great palce to stay, yhe staff is great, and we will return

Very old and out dated. Pool kid area was broken, had feces on the pool ledge, had roach and spiders in our unit, at check in they gave us a room with other people in it. Horrible experience. At check in there were several people in the lobby complaining so I know it wasnt just us. I will never recommend Palmera Vacation Club or Island Links Resort to ANYONE!UPDATE: We have emailed, called, and you the only things you guys offered us was some island cash.

The reason this is 3 stars instead of 5 is because of a comment by one of the staff members at the pool. I am a 20 year old young female, who came with my family. My friend, nephew, and I were all swimming at the smaller pool. It was mid day so lots of kids and families and we were all playing football together. A staff member knelt down to the edge of the pool and said excuse me, this is a family resort and you are going to have to pull up your swim suit top and then smiled and waited for me to do so. I left immediately because all of the families and kids heard. My swim suit was fully covering and it is just because of my frame. The way she stated family resort as if my body was welcomed meanwhile I came with my family. While other 40 year old moms were in their bikinis, 5 margaritas deep...This was very rude and no longer came to the pool after because of how uncomfortable I felt. Very rude and my younger friends and family with different shapes felt very un-welcomed after.Other than that experience, our stay was great in regards to the facilities! The pools, events, and home was great for our big family group and great space for biking! Most of the staff were great, especially the beach shuttle drivers were the bus, as well as the shuttle service as a whole was fantastic!

It is not on the beach, but they have a regular shuttle to take you to the beach. The one bedroom unit we had on the first floor was very spacious and clean. The decor and fixtures were a bit dated. We had a view of the golf course. There are handy grills available to use. The pool can get crowded making it harder to get a lounger in the shade. Very quiet. We would stay here again.

Middle class family resort at high end of RCI offerings. Not on beach, but shuttle offered to nearest beach on half hour schedule. Like the shade around most units. Pool is fine but dated compared to unscaled timeshares in area. This resort has a higher ratio of 3 bedroom units. The third bedroom is separated from the master bedroom by a curtain. This bedroom has a single queen bed. The master is a king bed and the other complete bedroom has 2 queen beds

Enjoyed the resort yet again, just like we did 2 years ago. Love the setting, just need to figure out parking. Theres never any parking near your building unless you get truly lucky. But thats really my only complaint.

Came in for a marines boot camp graduation and did not get to enjoy all the amenities, however the condo was very clean, comfortable, up to date.The internet was good and user friendly since I did not have to use any passwords.The children swam in the pool and they said they enjoyed themselves.Overall good place to stay

Our stay at Island Links was in a 3 bedroom, 2 bath condo that was clean and comfortable. The decor was dated, but overall, we would definitely stay there again. The condo was on the first floor in building 9 at the back of the property and the parking was not bad considering it was Thanksgiving and Black Friday. There are no pets allowed ( a plus ) and the property screams family friendly.

The venue was pretty, the pool was nice, and the activities were fun, but the rooms were disgusting. There were so many dead bugs everywhere that had mostly likely been there for months. I was very uncomfortable to sleep.
