My husband and I picked up our beautiful Fraser fir Christmas tree today at Bullington Gardens and were warmly welcomed by Annie, Jim, and John. Their graciousness and kindness only made our purchase of our 7’ tree all the more joyful and satisfying. The tree is up and absolutely beautiful. Thank you and look forward to going back in the spring after this wonderful first time experience!

These gardens have several areas that were delightful! I enjoyed the nature trail and the dahlias a lot today. I saw several butterflies and caterpillars, and many beautiful flowers. Well worth a few hours. I will be back, and will make a point to come in the spring.

This place is great for kids especially if you have little girls in love with fairys. Their isnt a charge for admission either but they do have a box for donations. It is well with $10.00 or more per person. I have paid more at places and my twin daughters at 6 years old didnt have as good of a time. If you are not in to fairys the botanical gardens and nature walks might be more your style. This place is staffed with all volunteers and your donations would be highly appreciated.

Bullington Gardens is awesome! Everything is beautiful, most of the plants have labels so you can learn their names! Each garden is unique, so it never feels redundant. My favorite part was the Fairy Trail! There is so much to see and everything is so creatively done! I would highly recommend Bullington Gardens to anyone who enjoys nature, being outside, and/or fairies!

The Dahlia garden is worth a visit in itself! We visited in mid October and they were absolutely magnificent. And the short trails through the woods were very enjoyable. Defininitely a good place to stop, even if you dont have a ton of time.

Wow! Free admission into some gorgeous gardens. The Fairy Trail and village was an absolute blast for my kids(aged 8&3). We took lots of pictures, walked the nature trail and got to talk all about nature! The people who volunteer here obviously care very much for what they do and it shows. Give a donation if you can! A wonderful, memorable experience for us and we will definitely be back again for sure.

Its great by virtue of being donation and volunteer run. Central Area is neat but small. Nice walk in the woods through a rhododendron Grove. Grounds are far from fastidious though, but heck its free ( shame on those who do not donate).

Took my 7 & 3 yr old daughters to visit the fairy trail today. We spent almost 3 hours on the property, it was so serene and beautiful! All the staff were extremely friendly and ensuring social distancing safety. The work they put into the grounds and the fairy trail is absolutely wonderful. Please donate when visiting, as they dont charge to come but they do so much work there, please support them! We cant wait to come back again soon

Although I grew up and lived most of my life in SC, not far from Hendersonville, I lived the last 14 years in CA, only recently moving back to SC. I had never heard of Bob Bullington or Bullington Gardens. I suspect that I am not the only one.By chance, I saw a native azalea walk/class listed under the events section of Facebook. I signed up for the free event and am so glad that I did. I learned so much about the history of the gardens and the native azaleas. I also enjoyed the nature walk and the other areas of the garden.Entrance to the gardens is free but I am sure they could use your donation. I strongly recommend a visit...and if you get a chance to attend a walk/class like I did, do so.

My family spent a couple hours here today and are glad we visited. Bullington Gardens is a peaceful place that charms you in its modesty. There are a variety of small gardens developed around a theme, such as an herb garden or a therapy garden, and each is beautifully tended. We had lunch near the parking lot overlooking the front garden and could have stayed there all day. Thank you, volunteers, for providing such a lovely escape.

A rare find. Extensive flower and shrub gardens expertly tended by the best in the business. Self guided tours are available. Spring brings the peak beauty of flowers and other plants. As a bonus, some plants and flowers are for sale. Parking is in a grass field nearby.

I can image a time when Bullington Gardens was filled with splinter and majesty. Bullington Gardens Is still a must see for the avid horticulturist. However without the investment of loving hands and two or three tons of miracle grow Bullington Gardens will eventually be a loving memory..
