This place is awesome. Has quite a few shelters, fresbie golf, boat ramp, basketball courts and a great deal of bathrooms all over. Highly recommend this place for an outdoor outing.

This is a lovely park with lots of parking and I appreciate do much that they host high school cross country meets here. They checked everyones temperature and encouraged mask use and social distancing. Very nice and had a good time.

Went for cross country meet, was a very nice park (water front). Good parking, clean/well kept, rest rooms were not open ( they had portables for the meet), Hendersonville mounted police patrolling.

It is nice and quiet. The pavilions have fireplaces and grills. It is clean and well maintained. I would definitely recommend it.

The first time we saw this park we were in a boat and we didnt think it looked very big to host a national fishing championship. However, its much bigger than looking at it from the water. It has a model airplane field fenced off, a small playground, restrooms, a nice big boat ramp, 2 long floating docks, and a few picnic tables. Most of the parking was done on grass so I dont know how it would be if its raining or muddy.

This is a great park! Ive seen several deer when Ive gone early morning or in the evening. Theres a playground for young ones, small trails for walking, a pretty great Frisby golf course, and tons of open space! Its a very peaceful park during the week & I love taking my dog out there to explore & work on training.

I have never had the chance to see the whole park but what I have seen it is beautiful and very well maintained. I was there for my grandsons cross country race and the trails are in great shape.

Too much traffic to walk the dog and all the license plates are from out of town. Drug deal occured right in front of me. What happened to our beautiful town park. Have to pick up litter all along the trails. No respect for nature. We need to make it private for residents

Well maintained, several people enjoying disc golf. We found a quiet point to fish. Didnt catch anything but enjoyed the outdoor time.

It is a beautiful park. The pavilions are clean. The whole park is very well maintained. It is a comfortable and relaxing place to visit. The only downside is that the playgrounds are not very big for kids.

Absolutely beautiful! Fishing, boat ramps, picnic areas with fireplaces, water views, hiking, walking, camping, wildlife.

Beautiful park and incredibly spacious. Rentals for special events are reasonable and fantastic scenery. Great for those who love running/walking. 2 decent playgrouds and disc golf courts. Kids love it out here, perfect for letting your heathens run wild.

Issues with boaters parking in the way of tpad 8 for disc golf. Plenty of room around to park other than on the course.

My friend and I went fishing and the park’s docks the other day and we only caught a few fish, but the view was amazing and the docks were so clean. When I go there again(and I will), I am definitely bringing more friends with me!

Love watching the wildlife roam freely. Also great spot to fish and look at beautiful boats on lake.

Fun place to watch cross country

It is a really really nice park.

From what I saw there was a decent walking trail along the water, if you have kids, the playground was pretty small and lacking variety. There is a boat launch and 3 docks, Im assuming its okay to fish from. I fished from one and didnt see any no fishing signs. Aside from a large field, that was pretty much it, I think.

Pretty lame music festival. Had to play music on my phone and only 2 other dudes showed up. Still better than Fyre Fest.

Burger tasted like it was two days old and reheated in a microwave. Made my stomach churn.yuk!!!

Love the disc golf course here! Love the water view and the environment! Clean and quiet with the occasional boat going by, or a fellow disc golfer making a basket! A new favorite spot!

Clean facilities and very well cared for.We were there for the disc golf course and were not disappointed.The park has an rc airstrip, and boat launches in addition to the disc golf course and the standard city park amenities such as picnic tables, pavilions, ball fields, and great lake views.

Love this place! You feel like your well off the beaten path. Lots of covered picnics you can rent, a disc golf course, boat ramp, dock to fish from, even a small remote plane airfield. it has it all!! Always very clean. I catch huge catfish here using chad guts.

I really only use this park for the disc golf course, but the whole park is very well maintained. Fun spots for everyone in the family.

Great place for public or private events. I love taking my girls to disc golf and the park. Lakeside dock access and open space makes it a perfect spot to dock for lunch!!!!!

Nice beginner disc golf course

This park was really nice. It has the marking as if it once was a golf course. It’s right on the water, which makes it an even more beautiful place to visit. When I have more time, I will be back to explore even more..

I love this park. The Disc golf course is one of the best in Middle TN. There are pavillions for groups and outdoor grills. They also have a really cool Model plane airfield where you can watch people fly some pretty amazing planes. Great walk and lakefront boat access makes this one of my favorite spots in Hendersonville.

Great great place to go and The Pavilions are not on top of each other. There is a nice spacious area around each Pavilion if youre having a get-together or just dont want to be bothered by nosy people.

Sanders Ferry Park is a pretty good place for frisbee golf, boating out on the water, or a general walk in the park. It could use a cleaning crew, though, theres more than a fair share of litter lying about, namely by the lakes. Be prepared before going during the winter, too, the restrooms and water fountains are closed during the season, so no refreshments or rest stops.

Great scenic patk on Old Hicory Lake with large family pavillions with built in fireplaces. Fanatastic place for family events.

Went here for an RC air show. Always such a nice clean park. Lots of space for everyone and their activities. They have disc golf goals set up all over the place. Its fun to watch people try to play.

This park is one of my favorite places for family gatherings. It is situated on the lake and it offers many recreational activities such as frisbee golf and flying model airplanes. This is where I chose to watch the eclipse and it didnt let me down. You should have heard the crickets@

It is a perfect place for a date. My girlfriend and I sat under a pavilion and ate and then we listened to music and danced.

Beautiful place for fishing, family and just about anything you want to do. The piers are nice out there as well.

This is a small, quiet park with plenty of boat docks and pavilions. Not the best for young kids if youre looking for a playground. There is one, but its small. Its a great place to relax.

We enjoyed a cold afternoon hanging out in the park.

Disc golf course........whew! Long fairways. A couple of shots over the lake, bring a water disc! If you want to work on your drive this is the course. A fun workout. If you fly R.C.planes, they also have a grass runway (and club) next to the lake.

Beautiful Disc Golf course. Best thing is they have bathrooms open during summer. Not very clean but is useable.

A beautiful walk, and amazing for flying drones. The greenway leads straight to the Hendersonville Public Library, and it is right next to the railroad tracks, which are fun to walk on, because they are beautiful. Just be careful and watch out for trains! It also leads down to a beautiful creek system, and during the summer its great for swimming!
