Ive only been to Hero once but its pretty good as far as Im concerned. I ordered the chicken fried chicken for brunch and loved it. Im not sure if Id come around during sports season but its fun right now during covid.

We were staying at a nearby hotel and decided to order takeout. We ordered online. Please have your staff pay attention to the orders because the burger was NOT pink. I requested extra ketchup on the side and utensils. NONE OF THE ABOVE was provided. Would I return to Hero? Probably not. Burgers were good but not good enough for me to return.

Good for what it is - bar food. It took then a couple times to get our order right but they kept fixing it until they got it right. They do an exceptional job with the social distancing.

I absolutely love this place! I set reservations for a b-day brunch, and Bonnie and Megan gave outstanding service!!! They were attentive and so kind. Thanks ladies

The staff is nice and all, but seeing a roach scampering across the floor and all the fruit flies made me gag. Went there not too long ago to visit my ailing grandmother and was shocked to see one of the chefs not wearing a mask during service. Do not recommend.

Good food, cool decor and an area with arcade games that would be fun to play when not in a pandemic. Definitely an ideal spot to meet up with friends before Mavs or Stars games.

Great location and yummy food. The waitress was energetic and very helpful. This was our first visit so she provided great suggestions and shared some of her favorite items. I especially liked that the food was prepared fresh using ingredients from the local farmers market. Clean bathrooms,arcade, photo booth and lots of seating.

Nice space for sports... When they are playing. Food is solid and beers are cold. Theyve got a good COVID routine down with proper distancing. Could stand to not have games playing at 11 on the loud speakers, though. Damn hard to converse with that going on.

Best place to watch Dallas sports, and the service is phenomenal for a place that gets as busy as they do. Cant go wrong with anything on the menu either.

Place is huge! Decor is beautiful. I went in on a Tuesday evening the only reason I cannot give a 5 stars because the manager was yelling at either an employee or guest right at the host stand about a missing credit card. The food and drinks are REALLY GOOD. The selection on the menu was awesome. The hostesses were super nice and our server was ok, not amazing but I know it takes time when a place just opens. I would definitely go back.

We came for food and a drink before attending a show at the AAC. We could not have been more impressed by the speed and courtesy of the staff. Its a very cool environment with great food. I am so glad there is a place like this to go to before and after events.

Hero has earned a place in my heart for with their kind hearts and amazing food. Such a great establishment. When you give to the community and support our team and are in the heart of the city then your business becomes something like a landmark after many years which i hope hero has in our city. I will be returning to hero in the future many times and book groups at hero. Thank you 8020 for such a good establishment.

We only went inside Hero to get a drink. Basically wait until the Arena opened. It was nice and cool. The drinks were just what we needed after a hot day waiting for the Stars players to arriveWe also watched the NLDS game on the enormous Television. Hero has been the site of a number of Dallas Stars watching parties. It is as great location and attracts an excellent fan base.

I went to Hero twice the weekend of 12/14. The first day Bethany was our server and she was so nice, patient and sweet. The second time our server was not nice at all, didn’t know the menu and acted as if we, the customers were an inconvenience.Good thing the food is good and the atmosphere is fun and vibrant. If it wasn’t for the last server I would have given Hero 5 stars.

Huge sports bar with tons of TVs and attentive staff. Pulled pork nachos and tacos were really good and big portions.

Had a great time at Hero. This place is huge. Good drinks, even better food. Expensive, but it is the very heart of downtown Dallas.

I came for the LARGE Mimosa, and you should too Unfortunately, by law, you have to have 3 in your party, or no dice! Excellent!! Will definitely be back! Came early (330pm) to eat before a Stars game. Had a limited afternoon menu. We got guac & chips, cheese sticks, and pulled pork nachos. All were fantastic!! I got the remedy burger with tots. Even more amazing!! Tots are clearly made in house as they werent hard or greasy. The place was packed but we still had excellent service!

Cool spot to check out before a game. Atmosphere and service was 4.5 stars considering the crowd and wait time. Drinks and beer selection was good and fairly priced. Food was priced fair but has the quality of hotel grub. Wasn’t all that impressed and expected more considering the location and ambience.

Still waiting for one sports bar in Dallas to put quality food and drinks on the menu. This place has a great location and great TVs but everything else was below Buffal Wild Wings quality. It serves its purpose as a place to come it get 100 ounces of Miller Lite vanity pictures and a plastic cup of Titos and whatever. But the buildout warrants much nicer than what they have available.

Food was great, pricing was a bit much, but thats excepted at a sports complex. Especially victory plaza. It was a fun date night experience. And we got bonus win hockey

Great food and decent bar/selection. There are several bars and lots of room even on the busiest of nights. We showed up up an hour and a half before pick drop and only waited 15 minutes for a table of 4. The good news was that with all the bar space, it was easy to grab a drink and not feel too crowded while we waited.

NOT for +10 groups:We came in a big group of 16 people but we got a long booth that could fit best 12 uncomfortably. Anymore is pushing it so we waited for them to find another spot for us. While we were waiting, we tried to take group pics in an open room with a wall mural just 4 feet next to our table to kill time and stay out of the staffs way. Didn’t touch or mess with anything, trying to get people stand in order. Manager comes in yelling at us to get out. No sign on the door or room to warn us and the door wasn’t locked either so REALLY frustrating with how she handled the situation and whole experience thus far.Food:Once we sat, we got the pulled pork nacho app. It was huge, could definitely share between +3 people in my opinion and they were so good! Entree I got the chicken fried chicken, not great at all. The sandwiches looked good though.Parking:There’s a couple of parking garages around that are free with validation so that’s nice when you’re downtown.Overall, I couldn’t shake how frustrating the logistics were in the beginning and the manager’s choice of communication. It started the night off for everyone feeling really annoyed. The experience would most likely be better with a smaller party.

Great hangout in the middle of downtown!!

What a great experience. Perfect spot before a game. They accidentally made me the wrong burger. I told them it was fine because the first bite was great and cooked just as I asked. Before I could take 2 more bites and munch on some fries here came the burger I ordered, also cooked perfectly. I wasnt even expecting such great service in this day and age. To top it all off, they comped my meal. The waiter got a juicy tip! Great food, great service. What a gem.

Excellent addition to Victory Park. The food was amazing and the atmosphere is fun and open. The arcade and t-shirt shop are fun and unique features. Cant wait to watch the Mavs games from here.

Stopped by on Sunday night while visiting Dallas. Place was pretty much empty when we arrived (around 7pm). We got a high top by the bar. Service was very slow, we had to flag down waited a few times and he kept forgetting half of our orders (drinks and food).Mind you that we only ordered Pork nachos, fried calamari and Caesar salad and yet he forgot our salad. We took our business elsewhere where btw, we had much better service.

The is a great place to watch any sporting game. Its located in Victory Park off Nowitzki Way. Youll need to park in the public garage on Victory Park Lane. This place gets crowded FAST especially before a big game, plan to arrive atleast 2 hours early to secure a location. These are pictures are of the game room, this area is located in the back pass the restaurant area. The restaurant has TVs but this area has the game day atmosphere. The hostess can assist you in locating it. The food is upgraded bar food and the serving sizes are large.

Good vibe and good food. I liked the grilled chicken along with brown rice. The veggies and salad were fresh too.

Food is really good. Fried chicken sandwiches are killer. Healthy bowl choices are delicious. Atmosphere is pretty cool. Service is not always good.

Food and cocktails are great here. Pretty lively atmosphere with large screens to watch your fave sports teams. Tons of high tops available around the bar area, in case you don’t want to wait for a table. Outdoor seating available also. We love this spot!

Nice ambiance. The drinks are a bit over priced. I guess that should be expected. My drink was so bad, I really felt like the bartender forgot to put liquor in my glass. The food is really good. There are TVs everywhere. Perfect for watching your favorite sport.

I am a visitor to the area and this restaurant was recommended to me. I am so glad I listened to that recommendation! The food was fresh and delicious. I enjoyed my lunch there so much that I went back for dinner. Dinner was awesome, too!! I tried different variations of The Bowl each time and both were great. The staff was terrific. Arnold, my server, was very nice and attentive. I also met the manager, Mike, who was super cool. Great place. I highly recommend this restaurant!!!

I had the fish and chips and it was delicious. So was the desert. Unfortunately my friend got food poisoning from the chicken w/stew? He liked it going down but bot coming back up.

I thought everything was bigger in Texas. I’m highly DISAPPOINTED! The atmosphere is amazing but $15 for a single burnt patty is ridiculous! $13 for cheese sticks is mind blowing. Come to Detroit and I’ll make sure you eat better than this.

EVERYTHING! And I mean everything from the fresh made chips and guacamole to what I think might have been the best cheese sticks Ive ever eaten. A fantastic selection of beers is just the cherry on top of this place!

They are definitely doing it right. Right ambience for a sports bar with great music and a good surprise with the arcade games. Super fun!

I havent actually spent much time here, it was just a brokerage meeting. However, the food I got to sample and the service were great, and it seemed like it would be a cool place to hang out. But, it also seemed like its probably pretty pricey, though I havent corroborated this.

Big, large, fun atmosphere. Great food. We ate here before the Casting Crowns, Hillsong, Elevation Worship concert and they were blasting christian music. Love it! Thank you Hero!

I was their Uber Driver. They had a cake with them and it was the owners Birthday. His family owns the resturant and it was there first visit to the restaurant. They made cute coupleI was starving and invited myself to there party. Gracious and very humble couple to say Yes. I had Wedge Salad and Farm Grill Chicken Burger. It was Yummy. This a sports bar by the arena, convenient with friendly service. It menu does consist mainly bar food.I would recommend the shrimp tacos. The wings are served a little different but worth trying.

Loved the drinks, atmosphere and food!Our server Ty was AMAZING and we loved every moment.We had the kale dip and it was on point and a perfect shareable.The Salmon Poke was incredible and fresh.My friend has the build your own bowl with chicken, broccoli and sweet potatoes and she said it was delicious!The atmosphere was so so fun and relaxed.I wished I lived in Dallas so I could go back!

Great service. Hot crispy calamari. 2 hour parking validation for the garage, parking for the entire hockey game was $6.

We got to Victory Plaza early for a Stars game, and decided to stop into HERO for a drink before the game. What a great place! They have specialty mixed drinks for $5 M-F until 6pm, and they were awesome! Plenty of comfortable seating for a large crowd, and I swear I counted 5 different bars. This will be our new pregame hangout for all events at American Airlines Center. Thank you for the great drinks, great service, and relaxing atmosphere!

Very limited food menu post-Mavs game. Appetizers were very salty and sauces were basic. Nice place with tons of space. Wish the food would have measured up to the atmosphere.

What a visually stunning place, up-to-date new age outside architecture along with the inside to match. An amazing bar, two in fact, and the food is definitely something to talk about. Great presentations served by amazing staff. So if youre ever in Downtown Dallas dont forget to come by and check this place out its one of a kind.

Heros is always a go to when it comes to sports. Theyre big screen is unlike any other sports bar. Its a bit on the expensive side but utterly worth it to be able to spend time watching the games with some of the most friendly staff and other sports fans

It was ok. The food was average. The customer service was average. I had the chicken fried chicken. It could have used more spices, and it was small. We had a large group and they has us in the very front. It would have been better in the back to spread out and pass out gifts for our Christmas party. Overall, just average and I disliked the parking situation.

If youre looking for the loud hip atmosphere then definitely a great place, for me I was wanting to talk without yelling.
