Its my first time there, its an interesting place, its pretty old and the atmosphere is really like old times theater. When you get inside the movie theater its small chairs. comfortable but not like the rest of the movie theaters today. did you have late showing of old movies which is pretty cool if youre into it theyre also have a lounge and when you buy a drink you can bring it inside to see your movie and thats pretty cool.

Watched a movie there last night for my birthday. could have been fun, if it hadnt been almost 80° inside the theater. The air wasnt on, no one was really working there so there was no one to talk to. We were barely able to focus on the movie, which I had been looking forward to and couldnt enjoy. Left the theater overheated and with a horrible headache.

This theatre is a relaxed experience that allows you to walk in and find your way just like at home. Going up the stairs its hard to miss your theatre and the crowd that comes in to accompany you seems to enjoy and embrace everyone. Its a neighborhood affair and those in the community know they are watching with their neighbor. A good feeling comes from the group effort to see the movie together as a shared interest.

Drove all the way from Mansfield thinking all the theaters had lay down couches. Was very disappointed when we got there. Stayed for the movie anyways but the other 2 theater rooms with normal chairs were run down. I understand its a vintage place but the stains on the ceiling and old chairs made it hard to enjoy the movie.not sure I would go back.

The bartender was a terrible human who tried to emasculate me over my drink order. Then proceeded to make fun of me with other patrons over my order. Since when is it a normal practice to make fun of paying customers? I feel so embarrassed over what she did that I can no longer return to this establishment.

Wonderful experience, first time visiting my son was having a meltdown and I was outside the theater room trying to calm him down so as to not bother other movie goers, the glass window helped so much to help him understand what was going on and not be be afraid. On top of the customer service was phenomenal, whilst trying to calm my child, an amazing employee offered assistance and to turn on the corner light so as to try to calm him and help him not be scared. Pop corn were delicious. The couches felt like home once he calmed down. I’ll be sure to bring a blanket next time!!

We went Saturday night to watch Badboys for life,Small and cozy theater which takes you back to the 90s!The sound quality and the seats are not the best but if you want to have a 90’s movie night and experience something different you should definitely check it out!The theater manager walked in at one point and asked if everyone had a ticket and if we had seen the previous movies!Fun experience,If your claustrophobic, antisocial or all over don’t like crowded capacity, this is probably not a good fit for you!

I have been coming here since 2016. I only visit this theatre for their midnight movies. They show a great selection of midnight movies. I do enjoy that the main theatre has couches, love seats and sofas though for some ppl they cannot fight from dozing off during the film. The only draw back are the prices for a ticket. other than that I recommend catching a midnight movie at the Inwood Theatre.

Ive been coming here for years (like 7 I think) for the midnight movies, although infrequently as I drive there from Fort Worth. I love the environment and its so comfy. The only reason this sent 5 stars is because the last time I went, they had the midnight movie upstairs in their far more standard theater (no couches no love seats no lovesacs)This was a really huge bummer. I had talked the whole thing up a lot to the girl I was on a date with, and driven quite far, only to discover on arrival it was not gonna be the experience I expect from the midnight movies. The guy working there gave me an explanation as to what happens that causes it, but I really feel like they should be planned around. The downstairs midnight movies are sacred.

Very unique, laid back place (literally)! I kept falling asleep, lol. You can cuddle up on the soft couches, and bury your head in the pillows! The theater is from the 40s, so it has a vintage style. Very cool. Only 2 bad things to say really. The sound was mediocre due to not having surround sound. Was a little untidy with popcorn all over the floor. But other than that, cool theater.

Went to a midnight showing of The Room. 4 stars instead of 5 because the show didnt start on time, there were some technical issues getting the movie started, and Tommy Wiseau did some Q&A before the movie but his microphone wasnt working that well. Also, the theater was filled with couches rather than movie seats which was cool, but the first couch we sat on, the back of the couch broke completely and we had no back support at all, moved to a different couch, and the back of that one broke as well! We had to hunch forward the whole movie, which was not comfortable. But the experience was hilarious with everyone narrating the movie in their own way, not your typical movie showing so it was a good time, but just some logistical issues to sort out.

My buddy and I went to go to see the new Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse movie last night. Based on reviews and some of the photos, I was pretty pumped to go to this theater (regular Alamo goer here). The theater looked very old and kept up, which was really cool to see. However, still paying $11 for a theater with a slightly blown speaker is ridiculous. The popcorn was OK. Very traditional theater food options. In my opinion, I would rather go to Alamo Drafthouse or another establishment for a movie experience. I dont go often, and I probably wont be going back here.

It suvks that only one theater has couches in there. Bought tickets for a movie that wasnt going to be shown in the theater with the couches so we ended up watching the movie that was inside the theater with all the couches instead which worked out fine because the movie was interesting and I was comfortable sitting on the couches which is really why I went to the Inwood Theaters rather than the typical movie theaters that most people go to regularly.

Love this theatre. I just wish they had more movies, but they typically do a good job at selecting current films. The screening lounge has couches and huge comfy chairs, pillows, and blankets. Watching movies here is a great experience, and tickets are cheaper/on par with what youd find at a big theater. Not sure how they select movies, but sometimes I cant go here because the movie I want to see isnt showing... and many times its the #1 movie out, so thats kinda confusing.

Greatest movie going experience of my life. The best part? No ads or commercial messages playing on the screen while youre waiting for the previews to start. I love movie previews, but I hate all of those commercials. It was so nice to be able to sit and talk to my wife before the movie began. The couches are totally awesome. At the end of the day, I dont even know if I actually liked the movie itself. I may have just enjoyed the theatre so much it overwhelmed me with cinematic love. I cant honestly see myself going anywhere else to watch movies from now on.

It’s a good theater with very friendly staff. I’ve seen and worked in rough theaters and this one is far above that. Entertainment! In a word; but thats the nature of a theater. This place takes it up a notch, though, and has a staff of people that truly care about keeping you involved in the experience. I especially recommend their midnight screenings, and I especially especially recommend their seasonally themed screenings like the midnight Rocky Horror shows. Couches are the only option, so I hope you like being comfortable.
