Was surprised when I saw this place, because I had no idea they were opening and I live in the area! Loved the place. The staff was very friendly and I spoke to a tall fella who I think was named Jake who was very kind and patient with me while I talked his ear off about nothing. Cant wait to be back.

I couldn’t think of a better theater to go to. The staff is very friendly. The standard seating is equivalent to what you might find in an IMAX theater. The price was lower than every theater in Columbia. It wasn’t overcrowded. It’s right in the heart of the international corridor of Columbia, where you can eat food from some of everywhere. And no one, I mean, NO ONE has better popcorn than they do. They don’t even charge you anything for the flavored salt like all the other theaters do. It’s a flat out gem of our state that stands alone in its own class.

The movie theater was nice. I love the fact that its black owned. The prices for snacks are cheap so you can get alot. The only thing I wished was that the seats were able to recline. Overall great movie theater and experience.

Id heard pleasant things from others, about how affordable and nice this movie theater is. And now that Ive been for myself I can definitely agree. The movie was affordable. The chairs were comfortable. And most importantly the staff was friendly and helpful. If you dont believe me, then go see for yourself. Movies are only $6 on Wednesdays.

Very intimate sitting area. Great for family movies. Not sure about the snacks offered, but they do have a few things there including pop corn. Duh lol. For two children and 2 adults 36 for a movie wasnt bad!

Went to the 1:10 p.m. showing of the movie US. Lots of parking, clean areas outside, plus new and clean in the lobby area. The theater itself looked beautiful with large leather seats spaced out well. I am picky about bathrooms, but the ladies room was clean and well laid out. The sound system was great, and made me feel like scary things were next to me! I paid $5.00 for a medium popcorn, but the large was only $6.00. I will be visiting again in the very near future.

Very nice and clean! AC had it very comfortable. One price, $8, for a ticket. They do run a Wednesday special of $6 a ticket. Prices for concessions are reasonable too. Seats recline some and are comfortable. I went to see Little. It was a good movie!

My family and I went to see the Lion King yesterday afternoon. It was so refreshing to have good parking, no long lines, clean bathrooms, clean comfortable seats with good spacing in between, etc. The Ticket prices are very good at eight dollars and six dollars on Wednesday. We will be back and tell others about it. Is there a way that we can see what movies are coming ahead of time so that we can get our churches more involved in order to bring large groups?

Ok firstly might i say i love spotlight cinema. The price of the tickets, food as well as seating is great, and I never have any issues until today.. My daughter and I came to a 4:30 show and the experience was very disappointing.. My daughter and I walk up to the booth no one there. I saw employees inside but no one came out as courtesy and lets us know to purchase tickets inside.. They stood inside talking to like what seem like friends while my daughter and I stood outside.. When I opened the door and asked where do purchase tickets than they finally told me inside.. we came inside the young lady at the register showed no customer service at all.. Did not greet us smile no kind of welcome she leaned on the register her hand on her face like we were a bother or she did not want to be there.. After we purchased our ticket and food i saw the manager and told him how his staff was unprofessional. He asked well did she say anything. I told him it was just her demeanor her poor professionalism.He did apologize but it did not seem sincere.. My advice would be to train your employees about customer service. Treat people how they or they would want their family to be treated going into a business.. Overall i love it and yes I will continue to come here.

Had the best experience there. It was clean and the staff was very nice. After I got out to my car I didnt have my keys. I went back in and could not remember where I had been sitting. A very nice young lady helped me. she looked row after row until she found them. Thank you julia I will be back.

Ok,I’ve been here several times and it is usually really nice BUT, tonight they are showing a special screening of the Emanuel Movie. The movie started late. They decided to check tickets at 7:00. Why? because they are grossly understaffed. No one checked tickets at the door. The lobby is a mess. Popcorn everywhere. They were not prepared for the sold out show. I’m all for supporting black business but this was poorly thought out. Someone at the top should have seen this through.

I liked the theater, its clean and comfortable seats however the service where purchase the popcorn and products left a bad taste in my mouth! The lady who supposedly serving me didnt know how to do two separate orders and failed to ask me how I wanted my order done! She was trying to to do three transactions on me when I already let her know what I wanted, like I just have money to give freely three times!!!! I do hope that this cashier learn from her mistakes.Besides the incident I enjoyed the theater.
